Job description
Job Purpose
· To provide a high-quality outreach support service that enables older adults with low level support needs to live independently within the community.
· To a promote network services across the Boroughs to maximise their take-up.
· To work closely with statutory and voluntary sector agencies to ensure appropriate services are accessed.
· To ensure that service users have maximum choice and control over the planning and management of the service they receive, including initiating individual support plans and connecting them with culturally appropriate services.
Key Tasks
· To signpost people to appropriate services as required through outreach sessions in the Hub, Satellite centres, GP practices and pharmacies.
· To develop shared working practices across the service network.
· To work closely with providers of similar services
· To work to agreed individual, team, and organisational objectives.
· To work with existing activity groups at the hub and satellite centres and support the setting up of activities where appropriate.
· To ensure all contacts with service users are recorded appropriately and to maintain an adequate filing system.
· To use word-processing software to produce own correspondence and reports in accordance with relevant policy on confidentiality and data protection.
· To collect monitoring information to enable the service to be evaluated.
· To provide support to services outside of normal working hours and occasionally attend sessions when required.

Employment Details
Contract type
This contracted post is fixed term until March 2025 with the possibility of extension and is 35 hours per week. We welcome application for flexible working including reduced hours and other flexible working arrangements.
Location
The post holder will be mostly based across East London.
Salary
Between £28,840 and £31,930 Plus 5% employer pension contribution.
We have recently introduced a salary bands system. This salary range refers to the lowest and top steps of the grade. Salary will progress every year until the top salary is reached.
Holiday entitlement
25 days (pro-rata for contracted hours) of paid holiday per year plus bank holidays. This increases after two years of service to 27 days, and then a further one day per every year of service up to a maximum of 30 days after five years of service. In addition, all employees are entitled to one day off on (or around) their Birthday.
Conditions of employment
The job offer is subject to the receipt of two satisfactory Employment References, an enhanced DBS Check and evidence of relevant Qualification.

Main Requirements
· To oversee the for the planning, management and delivery of all services, ensuring that KPIs and CIPs are fully met.
· To work closely with the Operational Manager to ensure quality delivery of services provided the Norfolk/Suffolk team, staff and volunteers.
· To develop and review the practice wheels and Logic Models that outlines the structure and research basis of the service. To engage with the Family Action Communities of Practice, roadshows and other internal opportunities to ensure strategic aims and objectives are constantly developing.
· To ensure a high standard of quality assurance and professional practice across the staff, through clinical and line management supervision, case audits, the use of MIR, Scorecard and Service Level Reports drawing upon data, and provision of training opportunities.
· Support Operational Manger to explore and identify areas of service needs across Norfolk and Suffolk and to build network and integrational working partnerships to support this.
· To be instrumental in shaping the future of the services both in Norfolk and Suffolk as well as part of the wider Central Team.
· Be responsible for the overall management, mentoring and support of Service Coordinators and, where needed, other staff.
· Deliver Family Action’s formal Annual Appraisal process for all workers, either ‘parenting’ or ‘grandparenting’ as required.

Charity People are working with a social welfare charity to find them a new Digital Projects Officer, to help project manage a range of digital initiatives and support with implementation and effectiveness of the charity's operations. Working in a small team, you will assist the Digital Projects Manager to identify opportunities for digital improvements with existing processes, and to upskill staff to use new and existing digital tools. You will help lead on digital projects for the charity, to help scope requirements, understand regulatory needs, costs, and advise on process and implementation. You will source, manage, and assess suppliers and agencies for digital projects.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who thrives working as part of a small collaborative team and has strong experience of working successfully in a similar digital project's role for a large charitable organisation with recent knowledge of digital and fundraising innovations, best practice, and compliance requirements.
You will require an understanding of implementing large and complex digital projects including project scoping, and experience of analysing and reporting on KPIs to monitor service performance. Therefore, the team require someone who has worked in a digital projects role in the sector, who has the confidence to come in and take ownership of projects.
The role is set to start early October with interviews being held at the end of September.
Please note, the hourly rate will be based on the working arrangements. The Role
This role sits within the Unlocked Programme Team, which holds responsibility for designing and running training for our new cohorts as well as supporting them across their two years, to enable them to have the most impact possible.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate to support our Programme Team with a wide variety of tasks. The successful candidate will gain an insight into: delivery, curriculum, our work with our Ambassador community as well as the specific training required to become a prison officer.

Kids in Need of Defense UK is a collaboration between four award-winning, UK based not for profits that specialise in children’s immigration and asylum law. - Assess referrals which have been flagged for legal advice by KIND UK administrators, for merit and suitability for the KIND UK project
- Assess and agree the appropriate level of service, making the initial triaging decision on referrals
- Provide internal legal advice on referrals with legal complexities
- Provide one-off advice to prospective clients via telephone and/or email, where appropriate
- Make onward referrals to other suitable immigration advisers and other services, where appropriate
Personal Specification:
Essential:
- OISC L3 or admitted as a solicitor or barrister in the UK or equivalent right to give immigration advice
- Significant post-qualification experience in child, young person and adult immigration and nationality law
- Broad and confident knowledge of UK immigration and nationality law and policy
- Experienced and confident in making independent and swift decisions on legal issues in immigration and nationality law
Desirable:
- Experience of working in a triage function
- Experience of working with vulnerable clients
- Experience of working with social workers and other children's services professionals
