Events & Services Executive
Daily rate £133.33 PAYE (made up of £118 candidate pay and £15 holiday pay)
3-month contract, Flexible Working (1 month in the office per month)

 

The Talent Set is excited to partner with a values-driven membership association to recruit a temporary Events & Services Executive. This role will provide vital support to the team across event management and administrative services. The ideal candidate will bring experience in both events’ coordination and administration, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach to driving success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the planning and delivery of flagship events, including liaising with vendors, managing logistics, and ensuring seamless event operations.
  • Provide administrative support across events, training programs, and consultancy services, ensuring all activities are organised and run efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, PR, and communications teams to organise and oversee various events, supporting their strategic goals and ensuring successful event outcomes.
  • Monitor event registrations, handle inquiries, and maintain attendee databases to support smooth event execution and follow-up.
  • Support the development and delivery of training sessions and consultancy services, managing schedules, materials, and communications to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all teams, managing the flow of administrative tasks and ensuring the timely coordination of training sessions and projects in partnership with the Training Manager.

 

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in event management and administration, with a track record of supporting successful events and services.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of a diverse membership base.
