We are seeking a highly motivated individual to manage the Core Service, our largest multi channel advice activity. The Core Service is mostly delivered by volunteers, the appreciation and encouragement of whom is imperative. Equally imperative is ensuring that advice delivery meets regulatory, funder and internal standards.
As with everything we do, the Core Service must remain responsive to changes in the community’s advice needs, and also to how the community needs that advice to be delivered (for example the introduction of new channels or delivery points). The post holder will therefore listen well, foster an appetite and readiness for change in our people, and be persistent. In terms of day to day service delivery, they will thrive in the following environment (and support others to do the same); unpredictability, clients in difficult situations, multiple advice subjects, and incoming referrals arriving from different partners and channels.

About the Role
As the Senior Communications Officer (content) in the Public Engagement Team, you will be passionate about the rights of young people in the UK. Using your creativity and experience in delivering public-facing communications content and fundraising content you will be instrumental in increasing Depaul UK’s income, profile and influence. About You

We are seeking a Programmes Coordinator/Facilitator to join the Safe Ground team in HMP Lowdham Grange, Nottingham and take the lead in the effective setup, delivery, and evaluation of Safe Ground's programmes. The role involves delivering arts-based interventions aimed at supporting participants in their personal development, family relationships, and rehabilitation. We're looking for someone with a passion for arts-based interventions, you will see relationships as central to personal development and be creative in your approach to positively influence and persuade others. You will be able to use group work, arts, and drama techniques to support participants to rehearse new behaviours and experience alternative perspectives. The main duties of the role
To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.
- To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.

You will be employed 188 days (of 4 hours each) per year, made up as follows:
- 164 days of work (inclusive of additional days below)
- 18 days of paid annual leave (to be taken outside of local school term times and on any bank holidays occurring during term time). For the avoidance of doubt, non-working time during school holidays which is in excess of your holiday entitlement shall be unpaid.
Additional 32 hours (or 8 days of 4 hours each)
These will be agreed between you and your line-manager, and may include days during school holidays. They will typically include three whole team meetings, one delivery team meeting and the annual staff conference. These will be pro-rated based on when you join in the academic year.

We are looking for people to join our Bristol Complex Needs in Totterdown, Bristol as a Project Worker. The service provides accommodation and housing related support to people experiencing homelessness; dedicated to providing a safe, high quality and inclusive service to people while they are living in the hostel, and a positive move-on into independent housing.
In the role of Project Worker, you will:
- Oversee a caseload of clients and provide ongoing 1-1 support in an approachable, caring and person-centred way.
- Provide practical and personal support to clients with complex needs around areas such as housing and health.
- Have a good understanding of a person centred approach and how to provide the right support to clients to meet individual needs, identifying personal aims and ambitions and making plans to achieve them.
- Work with the team, external statutory agencies and voluntary organisations to ensure everyone has access to available support.
- Continue to develop your skills further around working with clients in a holistic way, and to gain a deeper understanding of housing and benefits law, and other specialist areas through training, supervision and line management support.
In this role you will work on a shift rota Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. In some of these role’s staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
About you
We are looking for enthusiastic people with experience of dealing with complex and difficult situations in relation to people and helping people throughout difficult periods and a process of change. You should also demonstrate:
- A sound understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness, and the difficulties they can experience in accessing services.
- Some experience of liaising with a number of individuals or agencies to achieve effective outcomes for others.
- Excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to work with a variety of different people.
- The ability to work in a role that supports vulnerable people and maintain high level of contact with clients on a day to day basis.
- Above all, you should have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives and a non-judgemental approach to working with people with complex needs.

Bromley Mental Health Hub is part of the transformation of mental health services in the London Borough of Bromley under the NHS Long Term Plan. The service will bring together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.
We are looking to hire a Senior Mental Health Advisor with experience of working within mental health services, including the prevention, recovery and self-management of mental health problems. We are looking for a Housing Mobile Night Worker to provide floating support to our teams in high support 24-hour projects as well as medium support and transitional housing units to ensure that our properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night. You will be based at the Horsham Y Centre and will support the static night worker there during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties.
Working on site you will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe by keeping clear records of night time activity within the building. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures. You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.
This is a mobile role, requiring all applicants to have a full valid, UK Driving Licence. You will also be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.

You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability. You will have a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk. There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role.
