Personal Specification:

Purpose of the job/About the role
This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Brand and Marketing Team at Dementia UK playing a key role in the development, delivery and activation of our new brand.
As Senior Creative Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing design and creative work at Dementia UK, ensuring the effective development and application of our brand’s visual identity. You will apply high standards of design and production across a variety of outputs, both online and offline, while leading others to deliver impactful design solutions through freelancers and agencies.
In addition, you will recruit, and line manage a newly established Designer role and oversee the in-house design workflow, taking charge of our creative roster, animation projects, and brand sign off across the charity.
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven creative leadership and expertise in managing both online and offline assets. You should have extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, a deep knowledge of design principles, and a strong track record of managing external designers and agencies from briefing to final delivery. Additionally, you must be well-organised, proactive, and capable of prioritising your workload effectively, with strong project management and planning skills.

What the job involves
We're looking for a Proposition Development Manager to join a newly created team within our Fundraising directorate. The team have been created to work alongside the high value teams (Philanthropy and Partnerships) to provide them with the highest quality donor research, funding propositions and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations.
As the Proposition Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in this team, supporting our ambitious high value fundraising strategy and the development of Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal. You'll take the lead in developing the Appeal case for support, and crafting funding propositions. Collaborating closely with our high-value fundraisers, you'll develop bespoke funding propositions ranging from six to seven figures, ensuring they resonate with potential donors.
Your expertise will be central in guiding our high-value teams on creating impactful funding proposals, supported by consistent access to organisational priorities and plans. You'll also establish an 'Information Bank' of materials to support fundraising efforts. Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, you'll maintain the integrity of our data records in alignment with GDPR and organisational policies.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a fundraiser who understands high value fundraising. You’ll have experience in building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts with major donors, companies, and potentially grant funders. Working in collaboration with our high value fundraisers, Research and Support and Influencing teams to create engaging and bespoke propositions.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, often translating complex and technical information to a range of audiences and stakeholders in multiple formats (e.g. proposals, presentations or web copy). Your exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills will enable you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
This is a rewarding role where you'll be supporting initiatives to deliver growth in high value fundraising, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams and assist in the development of long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with donors and partners.

St Mungo’s is a leading homelessness charity, and we want to grow public awareness of our work. The Assistant Head of Public Engagement (Brand and Marketing) will lead work to drive increased awareness of St Mungo’s, supporting growth in fundraising income from the general public.
This role will be vital in driving public awareness and engagement with St Mungo’s and our work, to end homelessness and rebuild lives. In this role you will:
- Develop and implement a strategy to drive brand growth, to support an annual income target of £8.5m in Public Engagement, and year on year income growth across fundraising teams.

Specifically designed to support the cognitive needs of people living with dementia, My Life TV can be used by individuals and their families at home as well as in care homes. As Head of Marketing, you will lead on the implementation of marketing strategies that contribute to Care Home-facing activity as well as broader strategic plans. With ambitious growth targets, marketing activity will be focused around increasing channel subscribers and building long-term relationships with care homes.
Main responsibilities within the role will include:
· Creating a well-defined and focused marketing plan to enable the effective delivery of organisational vision and strategy for growth
· Effectively implementing all marketing activities, with a particular focus on executing B2B campaigns to encourage growth in care home subscriptions to My Life TV
· Ensuring brand proposition and positioning for My Life TV is clear, consistent and effective
· Oversight of all external communications for the charity, including Press & PR, content creation and management of our social media channels, email marketing, updating and managing our website and all marketing collateral as needed
· Participating in industry events and marketing activities including care home shows, learning events, or conferences
· Working with the Business Development Manager to implement a customer experience journey from lead generation through to the onboarding stage
· Working with the Head of Content to ensure customer service support builds excellent customer relationships, and there is a positive ongoing customer experience
· Working with the Fundraising Lead to ensure communications with funders, corporates and other charity partners is aligned with broader marketing activities
· Ensuring strong identity and brand alignment across the organisation
· Effective management of the marketing budget
· Effectively sourcing and managing freelancers, sub-contractors and other service providers as needed
This role will suit individuals with a blend of skills and experience including the ability to work both strategically and operationally within a small team with an entrepreneurial spirit. We'd love to hear from people with the following skills and experience:
· Multi-disciplinary marketing experience across a range of disciplines e.g. digital marketing, comms & PR, direct marketing etc. You don't have to be an expert in all - but understand how they work together to deliver a strategy
· Experience building a marketing strategy, and implementing the necessary systems and processes to enable its effective delivery
· A strong track record of delivering effective multi-channel campaigns, working to fixed timelines and budgets
· Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to write compelling copy for a range of different audiences - the care market, partner organisations in the dementia field, and the wider public
· Strong team player - able to work effectively within a small multi-disciplinary team
· Excellent IT skills, ideally including previous experience using sales CRM software
· Strong people skills, with an ability to relate positively to, and engage with a wide range of people
· Experience working alongside business development teams to make sure the marketing and sales processes are aligned
· Ideally you would have experience working in a B2B context, a start-up environment or in a similar context to the care sector
