Operational Manager

FUSION HOUSING works across the Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield districts of West Yorkshire, providing help for our communities to find and maintain housing through legal advice, employment support, learning opportunities, supported accommodation and local food bank provision

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours p/w, Monday to Friday
Salary: Band 6B £38,319 to £40,362
Contract: Permanent
Location: Based in Huddersfield with regular travel to Wakefield and Halifax

Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Operational Manager to oversee our supported and emergency accommodation provision across the Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale areas. You will manage teams of staff who provide one to one support, housing management and property maintenance ensuring an effective and compliant service to all our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Property Management: Oversee the operations of our supported and emergency accommodation.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support 5 Team Leaders.
- Resident Support: Oversee the development of support plans tailored to the needs of our residents.
- Compliance: Ensure all properties and services comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Partnerships: Work with local agencies and organizations to enhance support and achieve move on.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in housing management
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of housing regulations and best practices.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
