The role

We are looking to recruit a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) FP&A Manager to lead a newly established Business Planning team for the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Foundation has an annual expenditure of £17m and employs 180 people in the UK, Ireland, India and the USA. We are anticipating further growth in the coming years. 

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead all aspects of the annual business planning and budgeting cycle and monthly reporting to the Foundation’s management and Trustees. You will partner with the Foundation’s Financial Controller and leadership team to provide insight and help inform decision making. The role will include financial planning, budgeting and analysis, and management accounting. You will lead a highly-skilled team, including the current Business Operations Manager and a Finance Apprentice.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an international organisation. You will have strong analytical ability and attention to detail and excellent business partnering skills. You will be accustomed to working with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and will be used to presenting and communicating financial information to non-finance people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. 

• Partner with the leadership team to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

• Work closely with the leadership team, providing financial expertise and guidance to support decision-making and optimise resource allocation across products and programmes.

• Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement across products and programmes.

• Support Fundraising in bid process, providing robust and costed financial data for bids and reports back to funders.

• Embed cross team collaboration and systems between fundraising and finance to establish one source of truth on performance against grants.

• Provide assistance to the financial controller with cash flow forecasting, particularly in relation to timing of receipts of grant income and payment of onward grants.

• Manages a team of 2.

• The role will partner closely with the Financial Controller and two Senior Fundraising & Development Managers.

Experience and personal attributes

This is a highly rewarding role for a Senior Team Leader to manage and coordinate the Outreach and Befriending service, which include volunteer face-to-face befriending support in the home and community, and peer phone/virtual support sessions. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.

You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Wiltshire, the project aims to:

• Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.
• Support individuals impacted by abuse to access training and employment.
• Help people access bespoke apprenticeships and internships.
• Support service users to increase and advance work related skills, such as the development of CVs, financial management and IT skills.
• Raise awareness of this agenda to a wider network.

The service will support victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking aged 15 and above, alongside perpetrators of Domestic Abuse – empowering victims and reducing the risk of recidivism for perpetrators.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable people and an understanding / experience of the Education, Training and Employment (ETE) sector. They will have an understanding of trauma informed practice and ideally have experience implementing this within group and 1-1 settings. • Supporting the development and delivery of Fawcett’s public affairs strategy, including responding to Bills and Select Committee inquiries.
• Drafting reports, press releases, and consultation responses, ensuring timely and persuasive policy communication.
• Organising stakeholder events, such as the Women’s Caucus, to engage political leaders, employers, and civil society.
• Empowering Fawcett members and supporters to engage in political advocacy, from writing to MPs to attending protests.

Who We’re Looking For

You have at least two years of experience in a policy or public affairs role, with a deep understanding of the UK political landscape and a commitment to gender equality. You are a creative problem-solver with the ability to quickly digest complex information, make persuasive arguments, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have a proven ability to lead projects and campaigns.

The Youth Leadership Programme Manager will work on a nationally funded project developed in collaboration with local young people, NHS North East London, and the University of Hertfordshire. They will play a key role in supporting young people who live in the area, and the adults who work with them, to learn and work together to explore how participation can improve the health and wellbeing of local young people.

The role will manage our Young Advisors Team, supporting them to develop the skills, confidence and agency to play an active and equitable role within the project.  The project will be guided by the values of co-production (being human, inclusive, transparent, and challenging) to ensure that all forms of experience are valued equally, and power imbalances addressed openly. 

The post requires a high degree of flexibility around working days and hours as well as the ability to travel within North East London to support the meaningful involvement of young people in the project.

As Head of Philanthropy, you will lead our fund development strategy and guide our Philanthropy Team to achieve ambitious income targets. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing the major donor engagement strategy and leading the team to grow and manage our portfolio of major donor prospects. YMCA West Sussex Transitional Housing provides safe, secure accommodation for young people aged 18-25, who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. Our staff team comprises of Supported Housing Support Workers, Housing Mobile Night Workers and two Supported Housing Managers. We offer a support package alongside the accommodation to actively encourage residents into education, training, employment or voluntary work.

In delivering the role, you will work with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our transitional accommodation service. You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability. You will have a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk. There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role.

We are urgently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our God Loves You Tour team. The role is full time, but part time will also be considered, and will be based from our London Hub office, in East London.

This is a fixed term position with an immediate start, to end 31 July 2025. The successful candidate will have previous administrative experience, excellent attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties will include:

• Providing day to day administrative support in the office for the GLYT London

• Compiling weekly feedback report for Bus Route Director of Engagement

• Maintaining and updating information and records using Microsoft Office suite

• Organising travel arrangements for staff, including booking accommodation, transfers, car hire, and other travel logistics as needed

• Organising couriers and assist in co-ordinating marketing materials

• Handling administrative duties relating to the Christian Life & Witness Course training (CLWC)

• Monitor CLWC registrations and class attendance

• Ensuring that all administrative processes are in place for CLWC and that they are followed, including post event administrative tasks

• Responding to general enquiries relating to the London Tour Bus Program including phone calls and email enquiries

• Interfacing with the HUB office Staff to process information and prepare data for the database, based on requirements needed for the London Tour

This role requires a basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check to be completed.
