The key purpose of this role is to support the organisation by providing financial processes, information and strategies that contribute to the overall aims of the HTB Group and to ensure good stewardship of financial resources.
To ensure that the Finance functions, financial reporting and financial strategies support and contribute to the overall aims and success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Will contribute fully to the day to day operation of their team or area, with flexibility and without the need for close supervision
• Using a good degree of proficiency and well - established professional knowledge, will analyse and help to find solutions to challenges and issues that arise
• Support the Alpha Financial Controller in running the reporting and reconciliation systems of Alpha
• Complete monthly reconciliations (such as accruals and prepayments), as directed by the Alpha Financial Controller or with the Processing Team, if the need arises.
• Work with Accounting Processing Team on their monthly reconciliations, providing support on purchase and sales ledger
• Review the twice-monthly purchase ledger payments and monthly payroll for Alpha providing first-time compliance and accuracy checks.
• Review the monthly credit card payments for Alpha to make sure compliance with the expense policy and accuracy checks.
• Take responsibility with the Alpha Financial Controller for ensuring strong financial controls, good governance, and statutory compliance
• Assist the Alpha Finance Director and Financial Controller with projects on an ad-hoc basis.
• Detailed monthly bank reconciliation for Alpha with queries sent to responsible person for posting.
• Assist the Alpha Risk and Governance Team with Due diligence on grants outward –ensuring these are recorded completely and accurately; and that due diligence requirements are followed up, assessed, and filed
• Take responsibility for detailed analysis and reconciliation of all regional expenditure and income analysis
• Monthly Intercompany reconciliations and follow up
• Supporting the development of financial awareness across the charity and its operations at all levels of management and administration
• Review/approval of new suppliers on Dimensions (including checking and entering supplier bank details in Dimensions and Stonex)
• Assistance with Monthly Management accounts (forecasting, liaison with departments/regions etc)
• Involvement in the annual budget process (e.g. arranging meetings & checking templates to budget steer)
• Involvement in the yearend accounts preparation and Audit (Fixed Asset register, other schedules, providing samples and explanations to auditors)
• Responsible for preparing and submitting quarterly HTBG VAT returns
• First line of support for Alpha budget holders when they have questions about codes/payments etc.
• Work closely with the Alpha Fund development team to update them on financial information for donor proposals.
Other:
• Take occasional lead in Finance Team prayer sessions.
• Helping with cash collections and counts on Gift Days, LC and Focus

• Qualified/Part Qualified or qualifying accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
• Well organised and confident with numbers.
• Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
• Experience in a Finance environment is strongly desirable

We are looking for a personable Finance Admin Assistant to join our small friendly team. You will carry out;

• Various office and supporter database tasks as well as taking donations over the telephone from supporters
• A range of daily core finance tasks such as accounting for daily receipts, Stewardship and other Charity Card donations.
• Daily account reconciliations for bank accounts and manage all incoming enquiries from supporters and potential supporters

You will need to have a passion for Interserve’s vision and mission as well as at least 2 years experience in a finance or administration role. Experience of using an accounting system or database and IT skills are essential, along with effective administration skills and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively. You should also possess a good standard of numeracy as well as accuracy with detailed spreadsheets. You should be able to work independently and as part of the Finance Team.

Salary is £20,545.60 for 4 days per week (£25,682 FTE).  The role can be home or office based with a minimum once a week attendance at the National Office in Birmingham.  Additional days on site will be required during the induction phase (up to 3 months).

About the role:

As a Children and Young Person's Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (CYP IDVA) you will:

• Work with young survivors aged 13-25yo, holding a caseload of varying complexity, prioritising high risk cases
• Conduct comprehensive needs & risk assessments
• Provide individualized safety & support plans, advocacy, practical support & information
• Participate in the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings, including child protection & child in need
• Use a person-centred, survivor-focused approach, being mindful of the effects of trauma & additional barriers to access that children & young people may experience
• Take the lead on the development of responses to the needs of at-risk young survivors and their families, and the development of relationships and referral pathways with partner agencies in this area
• Assist in delivering training & provide consultancy & advice to other agencies

You will need:

• An understanding of the issues faced by young survivors experiencing domestic abuse
• Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
• An understanding of safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
• Experience of delivering services to survivors of domestic abuse and/or other vulnerable people
• Experience of working within a multi-agency & legislative framework
• Experience of managing a complex caseload, able to prioritise work effectively
• To be able to deliver indvidualised safety & support plans with knowledge of risk reduction
• The ability to deliver training sessions to professional agencies
• Ability to self-reflect, identify own needs, and put in place effective self-care strategies

What you'll do:

If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. In some services, this will include delivering personal and physical care as appropriate

Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where customers have not yet developed the skills, to ensure they enjoy a high quality of accommodation

Participate in the support planning and risk management, as facilitated by the lead Support Worker

Carry out security duties to ensure the safety of the customers and premises

Monitor the CCTV throughout the shift

Enable customers to make full use of community facilities by providing support as directed

Carry out support duties to enable customers to integrate into the community including e.g. accompanying the customer to attend benefit agency appointments and meetings, go shopping, to enquire at colleges about possible courses, to visit various public amenities

Report any observations relating to customers welfare

Adhere to all the policies and procedures of Look Ahead Care, Support & Housing plus those specific to the project including any statutory requirements

Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies and local protocols are adhered to at all times

Maintain digital and physical records as required at the project under the direction of the Support Workers/ management

Participate in team meetings/reviews and the general development of the service

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join SJA’s Bid Team, managing and producing tender responses across a variety of business areas including Commercial Training, First Aid and Health & Safety Supplies, Events, Urgent & Emergency Care, and other services. The role of the Bid Manager is to support the organisation in achieving revenue targets, business growth and strategic objectives through managing the Bid process and ensuring completion of high-quality tenders within the stipulated timeframes. About the Role 

Manage the Bid Management process, ensuring all bid documents meet deadlines and have undergone appropriate levels of scrutiny. Chairing and organising bid kick off meetings with internal stakeholders. You will need to feed the information into the Bid Writer in a timely and organised fashion and ensure all bids are of consistent high quality to meet the customer or commissioner’s expectations.

• You will also, where required, need to lead on writing, creating and preparing expressions of interest, prequalification questionnaires, ITT responses and standalone proposals and presentations working closely with operational/technical specialists within the organisation & ambulance operation to ensure excellence in quality, accuracy and presentation
• Lead on the creation and support bid presentations; including the preparation through to participation of delivery to key decision makers
• Maintain the Bid library working with functions and the operation to collate relevant, up to date supporting information for proposals, ensuring its accuracy and accessibility
• Complete the bid/no bid tool and agree with relevant key stakeholders to ensure any tenders are aligned with both the relevant departments strategy, operational capability e.g. skills, vehicles and capacity

We are seeking 2 Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You will be a self-motivated individual who will engage with a wider range of people who have experience sexual violence, and other barriers to justice.

The role 

In this role you will support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop and deliver fundraising initiatives that will support existing corporate partners and securing new gifts. Your responsibilities will include the day-to-day account management of existing corporate partners, new business development and the co-ordination of our payroll giving program. This will include research, prospect development, donor cultivation & stewardship, verbal & written presentations and all associated administration.   Additionally, you will contribute to projects within the philanthropy & partnerships team such as events and webinars; and the wider fundraising team to collaborate on prospect development, funding opportunities and volunteering.

About you

You will be an excellent communicator, both orally and written, who is confident in speaking with supporters. You will manage your own pipeline of donors, so will need to take initiative, prioritise and organise your own work, with limited supervision to achieve deadlines for multiple tasks. Agile decision making and problem-solving skills are essential.

You may have fundraising experience, but this is not essential if you have sales experience. 

You will have:

- Excellent customer service skills with a background in fundraising or sales.
- Experience in new business development including identifying, researching and contacting cold prospects.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present ideas creatively and persuasively.
- Strong administrative, planning and prioritisation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Competency with all standard Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of using a supporter database or CRM

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our established ‘’Someone To Talk To’ service in a newly created role of ‘Team Lead (Mental Health)’.  We are looking for two highly motivated and committed professionals to work alongside other Team Leads to lead and oversee STTT service delivery across Centre 33 hubs both in the North (Peterborough/Wisbech/Huntington) and South (Cambridge/South Cambs/Ely) areas.

Team Leads will work closely with one another and Heads of Service to jointly ensure the multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people. Successful candidates will bring strong expertise and leadership around the Centre 33 Mental Health offer and within the context of the wider mental health system. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will develop strong relationships with local organisations to ensure effective joint working and support for young people. They will retain a small caseload to support YP with more complex needs. The Team Lead will provide day to day designated Safeguarding leadership across the locality team, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.
