The successful candidate will have a proven track record and experience in direct marketing and/or membership/supporter/customer engagement with experience of developing effective communication and other activities which drive income growth. Relationship management experience is essential as this will be key to making the role a success.

Mini Malvern Nursery is expanding, and The Downs Malvern are looking to recruit multiple Nursery Practitioners to be part of our incredible team.
Mini Malvern Nursery is for children aged 6 months and up. The nursery comprises of three bright, modern classrooms and two outdoor gardens with adventure play areas, in addition to accessing The Downs Malvern’s beautiful 55-acre site, including a Forest School and a smallholding with pigs, quail, chickens, and sheep.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our youngest children and will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the Nursery provision remains at a consistently high standard. Who are we looking for?

As our Registered Manager, you will be essential in guiding and supporting all clinical, care, and leadership functions to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and the development of our services.
What will your typical day involve?
You will ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety. Your role involves leading the assessment, planning, and delivery of high-quality care for Residents and their Families, managing Household Managers, and ensuring 24/7 access to specialist nursing support. You will also drive the development of dementia care skills, implement the Nightingale Hammerson’s care governance framework, and oversee clinical supervision and training programs.
Your duties will include delivering safe, effective care, managing staffing, performance, and budgets, and ensuring effective communication within Nightingale Hammerson and with external agencies. Respecting Jewish cultural practices and supporting care service development and strategic planning are key aspects of your role.
In terms of clinical responsibilities, you'll balance administrative and clinical duties, manage care practices, and oversee medication and safeguarding procedures. You’ll work with medical teams and foster effective communication and mentorship within the multidisciplinary team.
You will also support practice development and ensure compliance with training requirements, facilitate student placements, lead clinical supervision, and stay updated with advancements in dementia care. Upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and non-discriminatory practices is essential, as is adherence to NGH policies and the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Keeping the Director of Care informed and safeguarding confidential information are also crucial.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate must be a Registered General Nurse or RMN with a recognised management qualification or degree. Essential experience includes at least three years managing nursing services in an NHS or social care setting, or two years as a registered manager. You should also have experience in staff training, quality process management, managing diseases among older people, budget management, and project management. Experience at H/I grade level in the NHS, clinical audit, and dementia service development is required.
You must have up-to-date knowledge of clinical and social care for older people, relevant legislation, and nurse registration requirements. Key skills include strategic thinking, staff motivation, effective communication with residents and colleagues, and the ability to manage workloads and policies. Proficiency in care planning and computer use is also required.
Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays is essential.

Job Purpose
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator position sits within the Research, Evidence and Learning team and will make a key contribution to the quality of our programmes. The post holder will keep abreast of state-of-the-art M&E approaches to ensure the use of technically appropriate monitoring and evaluation models and information systems. The post holder will support the design of new programmes as well as provide technical advice and input to the monitoring, evaluation and learning of existing programmes. The Coordinator will also play a crucial role in ensuring that our external communications and policy work (at all levels) are informed by and accurately represent our evidence base.
Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead the development of proposals from a MEL perspective, including contributing to and leading on theories of change, and the development of MEL frameworks. Design, lead and manage participatory processes to establish country programme MEL systems. Lead development of organisational tools and processes – e.g. developing reporting templates for project reports where not supplied by the donor Lead the development of quality programme standards and tools for their implementation. Advise on and support the building of an evidence base of impact. Support development of theories of change for development of strategic goals for Health Alliances. Support the development of indicators and monitoring of Alliance activity. Support the design and implementation of evaluations. Building MEL Capacity Provide hand-on technical assistance to teams in the monitoring, evaluation and review of existing projects. Support staff with development/use of MEL tools and processes. Provide input and assistance to MEL activities, including data collection and analysis, and evaluation design.
