We have a vacancy for a People Business Partner working within the People Business Partnering function and wider People Directorate.
Reporting to the Head of People Business Partnering, this role will be a vital link between the People Business Partners, Human Resources Operations and Learning and Organisation Development teams. We are looking for somebody with knowledge of the Business Partner role whose skills will meet the flexible needs of the business, who is able to oversee the end-to-end delivery of work and someone who can work on multiple activities at a time. The People Business Partner role aligns and works in partnership with the respective Directorate/business area to add value through the provisions of a range of people initiatives and interventions linked to Directorate and organisational objectives and priorities.
Working as part of the People Business Partnering team, the role will support ongoing transformational change by providing business insight, manage business and people risks and develop people solutions.

This role will support the development and implementation of the Delivering our Strategy Sustainably work that underpins the RSPB wider business strategy and priorities.
The core part of the role of a People Business Partner is the ability to develop effective working relationships that influence across a range of stakeholders up to Leadership and Executive level. In addition, People Business Partners are expected to work collaboratively across functional areas and Directorates in the successful delivery of people services, initiatives, and outcomes.
Through providing support to senior managers and leadership teams, People Business Partners play a key role in planning, developing, and identifying solutions that create value and ensure organisational and Directorate level strategies are realised.
Some key areas of the role of a People Business Partner include:
- The use of Insight & Data to support decision making.
- Understand Directorate/business complexities and specific requirements and be able to act on these for purposes of People and business planning.
- Identify resourcing plans in collaboration with senior management to ensure the effective supply of high-quality talent.

Can you lead Friends of the Earth in our mission to achieve climate justice?
We are seeking to appoint an Executive Director to lead Friends of the Earth (England, Wales & Northern Ireland) at a crucial domestic and international moment for climate, environmental and social justice.
You will motivate, inspire and build the capacity of a growing and diverse network of people coming together to transform our environment into one which is flourishing, sustainable, and socially just.
You will do this as a passionate and effective advocate for an environment that’s getting better, a safer climate, abundant nature, healthy air, water and food. We work from the grassroots to the global in communities throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland to playing our part in the international network of our sister organisations around the world.
We are looking for someone with established credibility and standing within the environmental and/or social justice sectors, someone able to inspire our activists, staff and allies, and to attract funding and resources to enable our vital work; someone with outstanding strategic vision and organisational leadership as well as a collaborative approach to build and deliver transformative work internally and externally.
With exceptional communication and relationship skills and an empathetic approach, you will inspire and lead our engagement across the political landscape and engage with a widening range of communities. Fostering equity, diversity and inclusion, including our commitment to becoming an anti-racist organization, you will be key to our work in pursuit of a just and sustainable world for all.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and innovative fundraising professional to develop and deliver our fundraising strategy to support the work of Diabetes UK by raising over £40m a year. You will be working with teams across the organisation to engage supporters across the fundraising programme, and drive long term, net income.

The Role:

This role sits within the Welcome Hackney team. Welcome Hackney supports residents who are currently seeking asylum, have refugee status, or arrived in the borough via the Homes for Ukraine or resettlement schemes. The team also supports migrant residents with no/insecure status who face additional barriers to accessing services.
The purpose of the role will be to set up and manage services which ensure that refugees, migrants and asylum-seeking residents can access the support they need, as well as influencing systems to ensure services are available and accessible. The role will identify any gaps in service provision, working with residents and the voluntary and community sector towards creating a welcoming environment for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.

Skills & experience:
· Strong project management, organised with excellent use of project plans - proactive and work independently to ensure that key project milestones are completed on time and a high standard and projects are progressing within scope, time and resource constraints.

· Established experience of working with refugees, asylum seekers or migrants (people with lived experience are particularly welcome)
· Solutions focussed with a can-do approach. Proactively and independently finding solutions to barriers.
