About this job
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated product manager to lead the strategic development of our digital services products.
Our digital services provide support and information to thousands of people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). You’ll be joining us at an exciting stage of our digital programme as we transform the way we engage with people affected by MS.
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving evolution and improvement. This will include working with our existing products including our forum, webchat, symptom management tools and logged-in area of our website.
But you’ll also be leading efforts to conceptualise, design, build and implement new digital products that cater to the ever-evolving needs of our community.
We’re looking for the successful candidate to have proven experience in areas such as:
• Using a clearly defined digital project management methodology.
• Developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps.
• Overseeing the product development lifecycle.
• Maintaining the highest quality, compliance and accessibility standards.
• Collaborative working with cross-organisational stakeholders

- Ensuring that all requests and 1st & 2nd level queries (phone, email and in-person) are responded to promptly and effectively including providing tours of the Centre to prospective members.

- Receive and help with various deliveries ensuring everything is received properly and is kept in its correct place.
- Maintaining the activities list, class and clubs registers and the login/out ledger and visitors log for all members, visitors and volunteers.
- Making sure the relevant Health and Safety requirements and other obligations are being met and correctly observed
- Reporting any maintenance issues quickly and clearly to the Community Manager
- Overseeing and ensuring that all administrative processes are carried out in line with the Centre’s policy
- Opening the Centre in the mornings and possibly closing in the afternoon.
- Reconciling money received on a daily basis reporting this to the General Centre Manager
- You might be required to attend/support events out of working hours including weekends. You will receive time off in lieu for any hours you work over your contractual hours

- Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT systems including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Individual Giving Manager to lead and grow our individual giving programme. Your role

As well as Recovery support, our clubhouse provides a dedicated employment support Information, Advice and Guidance service to Islington residents with mental health needs from our community base in North Road. This takes the form of personalised support based on an individual action plan detailing the client’s agreed employment goals and actions.
OVERALL AIM
Working in collaboration with the Hillside Clubhouse Recovery project, the Employment Advisor team utilises the structured activity programme to help residents build confidence and transferable skills in a supportive setting. EAs work one-to-one with a caseload of around 40-50 people referred through various routeways including self-referrals, providing information, advice and guidance to empower clients to make better decisions about their career options and working lives, as well as signpost clients to other relevant support agencies, as appropriate.
This role would suit someone with a background in employment support, psychology, counselling, human resources, recruitment, or a desire to transfer their skills into the mental health support sector.

ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our tight knit team and make a real impact. A key member of the finance team, working closely with and supporting the Finance Manager, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.
The role offers the chance to work across several finance functions, including management accounting, supporting year end audit, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and so it provides a great opportunity to experience the full breadth of finance work in a charity across all functions in a varied and interesting role.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day finance processes
- Assume responsibility for managing the finance inbox; answering queries from colleagues; students, commercial customers, and suppliers.
- Ensure supporting information for transactions is correctly stored in electronic format on Teams such as bank statements, remittance advices, credit statements.
- Assist the operations and administration teams as and when required, including with the preparation of internal reports.
- Other ad hoc support to the finance team as may be required including administrative duties.
Accounts Receivable
- Ensure that all income from a variety of different sources is correctly and accurately recorded in the finance system on a weekly basis.
- Income and customer account reconciliations and revaluations.
- Any other responsibilities relating to Accounts Receivable.
Accounts Payable process
- Work with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely recording of all approved supplier invoices, requisitions, staff expenses and other expenditure in the accounting system and that all supporting documentation for all transactions are uploaded.
- Whilst the bookkeeper is responsible for making all payments, the Assistant Finance Manager has a key role in liaising with the bookkeeper and the Finance Manager, to jointly ensure that all invoices are paid on time.
- Providing cover and setting up payments when the Finance Manager is not available.
- Determine most efficient payment platform to process international payments and ensure these are recorded in the finance system at the correct conversion rate.
- Work closely with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely recording of all approved supplier invoices, requisitions, staff expenses and other expenditure and that all supporting documentation for all transactions are uploaded.
- Carry out monthly Creditor account reconciliations ensuring that all balances are valid and backed up with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Assist with the set up all payroll payments in time for the monthly pay day. This involves ensuring correct amount (which may differ from the salary of the individual’s employment contract) and method of payment across all HQ staff.
Budgeting, management accounting and forecasting
- Assist the Finance Manager and CEO with the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly management accounts and forecast.
Year End Audit
- Assist the Finance Manager with answering queries form auditors and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
Systems and Processes
At the Gestalt Centre we’re in the process of updating and embedding new systems and processes and this role will assist that work. For example, we have recently implemented new educational management and room booking systems and this role will be involved in supporting the integration of the finance and education management software.

The Ukraine Humanitarian appeal raised £439 million and helped an estimated 6.9 million people in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The Grants Manager is integral in working closely with DEC colleagues and members to build and sustain, a solid understanding of the evolving humanitarian context. The Grants Manager will maintain strong oversight of the DEC funded programme including the reporting cycle, adaptive programming and facilitate strong and relevant engagement with DEC member charities and local partners and external briefings over the duration of the response.
Key responsibilities:
Communication and Collaboration
- Key programmes point of contact regarding the DEC funded programme, responding to enquiries from member charity programmes and other related staff, facilitating timely and accurate communication.
- Maintain strong understanding of response context.
- Manage and provide timely, response briefings to internal and external audiences, key stakeholders including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office [FCDO] and, other key stakeholders.
Analysis and Reporting

- Support with real-time reviews, community perception studies and other related MEAL activities.
