For this varied and busy role of Events Manager we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills. Overall purpose
The Philanthropy Manager will manage and steward a portfolio of funders and donors – across trusts and foundations, statutory sources and major donors – to secure annual and multi-year gifts in support of Breaking Barriers’ vision. As well as managing relationships with our existing donors there will be a focus on creating new relationships through proactive prospecting and developing a long-term strategic approach to stewardship and relationship development.

You will have a strong track record of high-value relationship management and fundraising, ideally specialising in Trusts, Statutory, Major Donor fundraising or a related area. We are looking for someone who can successfully secure and steward gifts of 5 figures and above – so evidence of stewarding high-value relationships and high-quality written skills are key. You will collaborate with additional fundraisers across Trusts, Statutory, Corporate and Major Gifts to coordinate approaches and maximise opportunities across all functions.

The role will provide database and data services to the Fundraising and Community Engagement department and enhance the charity’s supporter experience. You will be the data and insight lead who will assist with continuously updating the database and data processes, as well as data manipulation. Additionally, you will also support your colleagues in their use of the database to enhance engagement, donations, and marketing for supporters.
To be successful in the role of Database Executive, you will need:
- Proven experience as a data administrator or similar role involving manipulating data, and advanced skills in using a database or CRM.
- Some experience of running reports and exporting data, and of running data health routines, with understanding of relational databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level, and excellent IT skills and analytical mindset.
- Good understanding of GDPR.
- Good interpersonal skills, and ability to work across teams, with ability to follow complex instructions and processes.

We are seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Communications Manager to cover a 9-month maternity leave period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, design, and social media management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining brand integrity.
Responsibilities:
· Creating and implementing communication strategies that align with STOP THE TRAFFIK’s goals and objectives. This includes monitoring and analysing live trends (i.e., on social media) to adapt and refine existing strategies.
· Write and edit compelling content for newsletters, blog posts, social media, and other channels in both long-form and short-form.
· Support our Fundraising & Development Team to produce effective individual giving campaigns through powerful visual assets and a strong, impactful narrative.
