Age UK are recruiting for Network Engagement & Support Managers to work closely with a regional allocation of local Age UK partners to:Establish strong relationships with local leaders in particular COs and Chairs and develop a comprehensive understanding of each allocated partner, their strategy, priorities, specialisms, and challenges acting as a sounding board for strategic development, planning and problem solving.
Facilitating effective connections and engagements that enable knowledge sharing and learning and specialist or peer support between partners, the national organisation, within regions and with outsourced support where appropriate.
To be a subject matter expert on allocated local partners, gathering intelligence and disseminating appropriately, advocating on behalf of the network by working collaboratively across the team and division to give an amplified voice to partners within the national organisation and governance.
This is a home-based role for UK based candidates only.
There is a requirement to travel to Network partners across the UK as and when required. This may include overnight stays.

DESCRIPTION
We are looking for experienced practitioners who are qualified to level 3 in childcare or a related field and have a passion for working with families to help them achieve their best outcomes.
Fixed Term until July 2025
Job purpose: To provide focused 1-1 and group family support for families with children and young people aged 0-19 years old (up to 25 years for young adults with additional needs).Delivered either at the Family Centre, out in the community or in service users’ own homes. Main Responsibilities:
u Manage a case load working in partnership with agencies to provide integrated and planned interventions, giving advice, information, and practical and emotional support to families.
u Undertake direct work with children and their families who are assessed as requiring help and support, both at the Centre, community and in the home environment for emerging need and targeted services, offering timely support and interventions to address identified needs.
u Provide support for the family, using a variety of interventions including motivational interviewing, solution focused approaches and accredited parenting strategies.
u Deliver 1:1 evidence-based parenting programmes of support to achieve best outcomes for families and priority groups and record observations on electronic systems to the agreed standard and within agreed timescales.
u Plan, deliver and evaluate targeted services within the Family Centre and community venues.

u Convene, chair, and minute-take for multi-agency meetings as appropriate.
u Maintain accurate records including use of the Early Help Management System (EHM) of all interventions and communications, including Early Help assessments, plans, chronologies, reviews, and outcomes electronically; share information with other professionals as appropriate (with consent).
u Coordinate and facilitate TAF/TAC meetings and provide precise information.
u Develop community knowledge and links for the benefit of children, young people and their families and the wider family support service.
u Use the various IT systems and programmes to log families progress which includes the Early Help Management system and Outcome Star records.

About the role

We're looking for two proactive & passionate individuals to join our Housing Advice team to deliver an effective housing advice and advocacy service to young people accessing our day centre.
You will be working within our Housing team to deliver an effective advice service for young people. You should be experienced in delivering housing advice within a youth and community or other relevant setting, of supporting clients with multiple and complex needs, and have a proven track record of referring and progressing vulnerable people into suitable accommodation. The Duty Worker will be working closely with survivors of domestic abuse and other VAWG (violence against women and girls) to provide high quality independent support to survivors at all risk levels and their children. The post holder will play a crucial role in the service delivery, being the first point of contact for survivors who are referred to the Gaia Centre by contacting the survivors, assessing their needs and risks, carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs and will ensure an effective handover to the relevant GAIA team for ongoing support or referring to another appropriate agency for support.
The duty worker will also empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical, and personal welfare support. You will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options.
The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.

About the Role
You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting, across two sites. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You should have a minimum of two years’ experience of working with this or a similar client group. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential.
You will be expected to work across the two refuges as part of your role
About You
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.
You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing workshops.
Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.

This is a highly rewarding role for an Outreach Worker to support parents and carers of children under 5 at Westminster Children Centres. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with the ability to empathise with parents and carers are required. A non-judgmental approach is essential. The ability to network is also important.
