These are exciting times for Women's Pioneer Housing. We have recently achieved planning permission for two new developments and over the next 2 years, we will be developing over 160 new homes for single women in West London, including brand new offices on our site at 227 Wood Lane.

Reporting to the Housing Services Manager, we are looking for a Housing Officer to join a small team in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will manage a patch of approximately 260 properties in West London and will be responsible for managing rent and service charge collection, lettings and antisocial behaviour, as well as supporting our residents with general enquiries. We work with colleagues across all areas of the business to provide an excellent service for our residents, helping drive up resident engagement and satisfaction, as well as meeting key performance targets.
Ideally you will bring direct experience in these areas however, relevant transferable skills are as important. You must be an effective communicator be organised, empathetic and understand the need to create effective resolution outcomes. You will be visiting residents in their homes, talking to them on the phone and corresponding with them in writing so excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are crucial for this role. You will also be working with external agencies, including the Police and Social Services and be capable of forming effective partnership arrangements.
You will be equipped with mobile technology to deliver a flexible service, visible and accessible to our residents. We want individuals who are able to find positive outcomes and who can demonstrate a passion for customer service with residents at the heart of what you do.
What you bring will allow you to work collaboratively with staff across the organisation and with our residents where you will professionally and positively interact with different groups of people, building relationships where you are trusted and inspire confidence. You must be able to prioritise your work, pay attention to detail and ensure you meet tight deadlines.
You will contribute to ensuring our quality standards are met and our services deliver in meeting our residents’ expectations. To do this you will be able to translate and apply information, policies and legislation, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills in your dealings with stakeholders. Your IT skills will bring a proven ability in the use of various software packages to accurately populate and record information.

· Maintaining accurate records on the CRM database, including data entry, finance reconciliation work
· Supporting in the writing and disseminating donor communications, including appeals, e-newsletters, and relevant website fundraising pages.
· Help co-ordinating email marketing, [HK1] and actively participating in planning email campaigns.
· Supporting the development and implementation of digital campaigns to acquire new donors, including social media activity, email activity and website conversion pages.
· Using the CRM to analyse and report on campaign performance.
· Providing the team with wider administrative support as required.

· Strong digital skills; the ability to learn and feel comfortable with new systems including digital marketing tools and social media management tools. The post holder will work across many systems including Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics and Meta Ad Manager.

It’s a hugely exciting time for the Charity, with the appointment of a new CEO and Director of Income & Engagement to lead an ambitious period of growth. The Head of Leadership Giving will lead the strategic direction and expansion of the high-value giving portfolio. The team is on track to deliver £1.2m this financial year, with achievable plans to double income by 2027. This role has particular focus on optimising high-value support for the 100th Anniversary of the Charity’s BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal in 2026, including the set up and stewardship of an Appeal Board to develop key relationships connected to this unique and special campaign.
Key duties include:
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Income & Engagement to further develop and implement the leadership giving fundraising strategy, ensuring annual and longer term general and restricted income targets are achieved.
- Lead on the set up and stewardship of the Appeal Board for the BBC Radio 4 100th anniversary, aiming to optimise income and networking opportunities from partners and high net worth individuals connected to the wider Appeal.
- Develop strong internal relationships across fundraising, programmes and communications to create and develop compelling and effective long-term restricted funding opportunities to increase fundraising and deliver new multi-year income. This role will also work closely with St Martins partner organisations to identify funding opportunities aligned with the charity’s strategic plan.
- Oversee the development of a pipeline of funding applications and approaches across Trusts and Philanthropy to ensure existing and future funding needs are met from leadership giving sources.
- Take a lead role in establishing a compelling, future focused high value case for support that enables a dedicated Leadership Giving appeal in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the BBC Radio 4 Appeal in 2026.
- Lead, motivate and manage an experienced Leadership Giving team of two, creating a positive and inspiring culture which empowers fundraisers to achieve their best while meeting or exceeding annual income targets.
We’re looking for the following skills & experience for this role:
- Extensive High-Value Fundraising experience, with tangible skills and knowledge in securing six figure donations across Major Donors and/or Trusts & Foundations.

What you will need to succeed
You will have a strong knowledge of fundraising and income generation, and you will play a major part in significantly increasing income growth. Reporting into the Fundraising Manager, you will be a motivated and talented Fundraising Officer who will help us grow our unrestricted income and expand our pool of donors.
You will be required to lead your own portfolio of work, researching and identifying potential new funders, submitting applications and pitching for partnerships and support, as well as building strong relationships with donors.
You should have demonstrable experience of working in a Fundraising role, with the ability to cover the whole spectrum of fundraising duties, thinking strategically and working operationally.
Your base location is negotiable, but you will be expected to travel across England, Wales and Northern Ireland with overnight stays as required.

Part 1: Role Purpose:
Street Child is looking for a dynamic, confident individual with a passion for communications and a drive to make a difference.
We need a Global Communications Officer who is adaptable, personable, has an attention to detail and is ready to tackle any task with gusto. We are looking for someone who can drive forward our owned channel development, grow our website traffic and social media channels whilst maintaining strong platform engagement rates to generate fundraising.
Our ideal candidate will also create fresh campaigns with market cut through, develop clear, creative collateral, support our growing global advocacy efforts and identify opportunities for telling stories from Street Child’s programmes around the world. An eye for design and some basic editing skills is a bonus.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
1. Social channel content creation, maintenance and development
- Lead on the development and maintenance of the Street Child social channels, pushing forward our social strategy with a relentless focus on growth and engagement. Develop, create, and manage engaging content for our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), including identifying strategies for viral and timely content.
- Craft compelling copy and visuals that align with our brand voice and promote Street Child programmes around the world.
- Identify and leverage emerging trends and opportunities for Street Child’s social media presence.
2. Day-to-day website content updates & maintenance
- Lead on the day-to-day content updates and maintenance of the Street Child website, working to a turnaround time of 48 hours for business-as-usual activity.
- Work with external web developers to ensure Street Child’s website is optimised for raising awareness of our work, engaging supporters and raising funds.
- Develop high-quality written and visual content optimised for web, including managing our blog to ensure a steady output of content on Street Child programme areas, including primary education work, education in emergencies, and humanitarian programmes.
3. Communications resource for global fundraising teams
- Support the strategic development and communications needs of European and North American entities, ensuring a strong cohesive global voice for Street Child.
- Support global fundraising teams on all communication resource needs, including but not limited to event publicity/promotion, key appeal content and community resource generation.
- Support the creation of content/collateral for fundraising teams.
- Support the development of corporate communications, including but not limited to the design of impact reports, event promotion and publicity.

The role:
