About the role:
Support to Head of Advice and Support
- Line management of three case workers
- Deliver the service in accordance with Providence Row, policies & procedures and values
- Work to service improvement objectives and team plans
- Contribute to the day to day management of the premises to ensure that facilities run smoothly for staff and service users
- Support management and other workers to manage any Incidents on site
- Contribute to partnership development
- Work alongside colleagues to ensure cross departmental support and appropriate support of shared clients
Client support
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Centre to ensure Providence Row is an enabling environment
- Assist managers and the frontline team to review client related incidents and follow up on complaints
- To ensure all clients are given appropriate trauma informed advice & support to improve their situation
- Ensure safeguarding of vulnerable adults processes are followed, where necessary and work with the organisational safeguarding lead
Team support
- Supervise three case workers
- Complete regular supervision, case work management and annual appraisals
- Contribute to the Providence Row assessment procedure
- Support colleagues with technical queries relating to case progression
- Attend training relating to housing advice and present the learning back to staff teams
- Ensuring the team are rehearsed in all policies and procedures
- Support the team to identify training for continued learning and development
Monitor and evaluate work, demonstrating impact
- Ensuring monitoring systems are up to date and that development is ongoing
- Assisting with the review of assessment and recording systems
- Working with other department leads on service user feedback collation
- Keeping accurate financial records of the teams expenditure
- Oversee Advice & Support Team contract monitoring reports for commissioners to ensure delivery against the service objectives and KPI’s.
- Attend contract monitoring meetings alongside the Head of Advice & Support
Partnership Work
- Work with the Head of Advice & Support to identify new partnerships while also developing existing arrangements
- Supporting the team with attendance at key networking events
- Contributing to the community engagement plan

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. The role will involve supporting the team in the day to day running of the service including the preparation of contract documentation (such as registration forms, as well as specified supporting evidence: ID proofs, Proofs of Address etc.) for submission to funding partners, uploading data spreadsheets and CMS systems, and supporting the team with promotion, outreach and engagement of our services. The Yehudi Menuhin School based in Stoke D’Abernon, Cobham is seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Manager to have a significant impact on the lives of our current and future pupils. The Yehudi Menuhin School operates a needs-blind admissions process, and we remain determined that no pupil should ever turn down a place at YMS due to a lack of funding. More than 90% of pupils need help to take up their place, and grants from trusts and foundations are a vital source of income for our Bursary Fund, as well as a range of other projects and activities that are of direct benefit to our pupils.
You will join the Development team at an exciting time for the School. Under new leadership and with pupil numbers at an all-time high, fundraising continues to play a crucial role in securing the future of musical education and helping to develop the next generation of classical musicians. Our strategy is focused on reaching out to new donors, as well as continuing to engage our loyal body of current supporters, including several engaged grant-making trusts and foundations.
You will build on an existing portfolio of organisations that donate between four and six-figures. Your ability to develop significant, multi-year relationships with new trusts and foundations will be critical to your success. The School has also previously secured a grant from the DCMS Culture Recovery Fund, managed by the Arts Council, opening the door to possible future funding from statutory sources, which would also fall under your responsibility. This is a key role in making The Yehudi Menuhin School’s strategic priorities a reality on the ground. Your role
We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. The fundraising leader will develop relationships with potential donors, identify fundraising opportunities, and manage the grant application process.

Key Responsibilities

· Research: Identify and explore funding opportunities from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other potential donors whose interests align with our programs. Regularly monitor donor databases and other sources for announcements and opportunities.
· Applications & Fundraising Development: Lead the creation of high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry in collaboration with program staff, ensuring they are compelling, well-structured, and tailored to donor priorities.
· Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all grants meet donor regulations, reporting requirements, and deadlines. Prepare and submit timely, accurate reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and financial impact.

This is a new role at the DEC and developed as a key part of the DEC’s 2024-2029 strategy. The DEC has a wide range of established relationships with trusts and foundations, many of which give 6- and 7-figure sums to DEC appeals. The Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for providing excellent stewardship to our portfolio of trusts and foundations. In addition, the role will also be responsible for cultivating new relationships for the DEC through thorough research, and through the prospect development cycle, to raise money for DEC appeals. In addition to appeal fundraising, the Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for delivering on a new core cost fundraising strategy, in close partnership with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships.
Demonstrable, transferable trusts and foundations experience and knowledge, (preferably within the humanitarian & charity sector), will hold you in good stead for this exciting new role.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Development: Develop and manage the trusts and foundations portfolio and create compelling proposals for future appeals and core costs income. Showcase new ideas and innovative approaches for growing and developing a pipeline of new prospects. Develop engaging stewardship plans.
Administrative Compliance: Lead and manage, robust and professional grant management, ensuring systems and processes are fit for purpose, streamlined and accessible. Summary of main responsibilities and accountabilities
Partnership Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development
· Working alongside the Tees & Tyne Regional Manager to respond to the needs of the programme, ensuring that our young people have meaningful encounters with a range of employers from a diversity of industries and sectors.
· Day-to-day operational account management for employer supporters, ensuring they have excellent experiences.
· Full partnership and operational account management for lower-level funders in your region.
· Promote the contribution of Career Ready and awareness of Career Ready to potential supporters and assist in engaging their commitment to give both practical and financial support.
· Engaging new corporate, third and public sector organisations to directly support the programme delivery, working with the Head of Programmes to launch and grow the Tees & Tyne Regional Action Board
· Work with the Programmes and Partnership and Incomes teams to develop and deliver the overall employer engagement strategy for the area ensuring that the number of mentors is matched with the paid internship commitment and that employer volunteers are in place for masterclass delivery and workplace visits.
