We are looking to appoint a Fundraising Officer to join our highly successful fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in both fundraising and in the third sector. The role will provide vital support across our Fundraising Team, ensuring you develop the key skills required to become a successful fundraising professional in the years ahead.

The charity is in a period of rapid growth and will see our annual fundraising requirement increase from £12.5m to over. 
£16m per year, over the next three years. To achieve this we are adding capacity to the team to ensure we maximise the 
opportunities available within the university, corporate and philanthropic community. We have a remarkable track record in
securing major gifts from a diverse range of funding partners and this role will be key to ensuring we achieve our  fundraising targets.

We are a delivery organisation providing frontline educational services for young people. Our Head Office team is based on the site of our North Kensington centre in West London. Our Head Office team works in-person 4 days per week with 1 day from home.

What to expect in a fundraising role?

The Fundraising Officer role is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same.

A typical day will have different meetings, priorities and team projects. Corporate and University partnerships often involve supporting several different areas of a business or university with varying content, ideas and stewardship, including hosting supporters at our learning centres. Each fundraising area meets regularly to discuss challenges, new ideas and improvements, and the broader fundraising team meets monthly to reflect on progress to date and plan for the rest of the year ahead.

This role will also involve working with colleagues at our centres across the UK to organise workshops that are hosted and/or supported by our corporate and university partners, getting to know our different teams and helping thousands of young people to access vital learning and skillset opportunities each year.

As part of the newly formed Stewardship function, we are excited to share a new role - Stewardship Events Executive (London-based).

Working with Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy teams to deliver sector-leading experiences for our supporters, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to manage their own events and take the lead on all things logistics to deliver seamless engagement opportunities for our supporters.

What the job involves

We’re looking for an Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator to join our Events and Community Team. A high performing team who are driven to maximise opportunities, we aim to reach ambitious targets and provide an excellent supporter experience.

Our team raises funds through a range of activities including:

· our own events (e.g. March for Men)

· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)

· third party events (e.g. London Marathon)

· Golf Days

· helping community fundraisers who organise their own activity

You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers. You'll provide admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience. Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity.

This role works with data through maintaining our Raiser’s Edge database. You'll also update records on JustGiving and Facebook Fundraising. This requires accuracy and working under the requirements of GDPR.

You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising products, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to secure new corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.

Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team to drive Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking, prospecting, and stewardship. The coalition

Send My Friend to School is a UK civil society coalition of international development NGOs, teachers’ unions and charities.

It brings together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media in joint campaigning to demand quality education for all children across the globe. Each year thousands of schools and young people take part in the campaign, teaching young people the power and importance of using their voices in chorus with others across the globe to create positive change.

Send My Friend to School is the UK coalition of the Global Campaign for Education movement which is present in over 90 countries around the world.

Location

This role will be employed by Send My Friend to School Steering Group member Results UK, on behalf of the Send My Friend to School coalition, and will be based in Results UK’s office near Waterloo. Hybrid working is in place whereby staff are required to work from the office at least 2 days a week. 

Terms & Conditions

This is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent post, with a 3 month probation period. There is likely to be occasional evening and weekend work involved, for which time off in lieu will be received. Holidays are 25 days pro rata per year plus bank holidays. Line Management

Although working solely on Send My Friend to School coalition activities the Campaign Manager will be employed as part of the Results UK team. Consequently, they will be formally managed by the Results UK Head of Parliamentary Advocacy in terms of workplace-related and employment issues.

Purpose of the role

The Senior Technical Associate role is a key member of the Senior Technical Team at ENN. The post holder will bring extensive skills, expertise and capacity to deliver on a portfolio of our projects, provide strategic and technical direction and leadership, and manage their teams.

The Senior Technical Associate will manage a portfolio of projects, lead on, and support, project delivery and develop content of technical outputs. This will involve being accountable for quality and timely delivery. The priority areas for this position are:

· Portfolio lead for ENN’s Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) and Management of small and at-risk infants under 6 months and their mothers (MAMI) projects

· Project lead for Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) Project.

· Technical lead for pieces of work/activities within the IFE/MAMI portfolio.

· Senior editorial role in Field Exchange

Work environment:

Flexible hybrid working. You will be required to travel to London on a regular basis to meet the team, and other in person meetings, sponsored events and Partner organisations.
