Key Responsibilities 

Oversee the Youth Voice programme

• Oversee the day to day running of The Mix’s Youth Voice programme, ensuring its alignment with
  The Mix’s strategy
• Lead the management of a database with 500+ young people, overseeing monthly reporting and
  data reviews
• Cultivate and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for active youth participation
• Matrix manage a team of dedicated Youth Voice staff leads, providing guidance, support, and
  fostering collaboration
• Design and deliver Youth Voice training for all staff to equip everyone for meaningful involvement
  of young people in their work
• Advocate for the meaningful involvement of young people in all aspects of The Mix’s internal and
  partnership work from ideation through to evaluation
• Collaborate with internal teams and prominent brands and organisations to integrate youth insights
  into decision-making processes
• Lead Youth Voice projects, emphasising the amplification of young people’s voices while managing
• timelines and budgets effectively
• Ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding measures in the Youth Voice department,
  creating safe spaces for participation and maintaining compliance with safeguarding policy
  and procedure
• Work with the safeguarding team to build a culture of transparency and safety across
  the organisation

Design engagement opportunities

• Design and implement a wide range of youth engagement opportunities, tailoring approaches to
  resonate with diverse groups of young people
• Work alongside the Senior Engagement and Training Officer to launch new Youth Voice roles as part
  of our community strategy, offering training support and taking the lead in ensuring their success in
  these roles
• Quality assure all session plans and engagement activities across the organisation
• Actively work to engage lesser heard groups of young people in our programme
• Ensure that all engagement opportunities are accessible, and inclusive of all young people

Community Strategy

• Ensure young people are at the heart of The Mix’s youth-led community, across a range of digital
  platforms including social media

Person Specification

Essential

• A commitment to advocating for young people’s voices and ideas, with a drive to support and create
  opportunities for them to have ownership of spaces that they use
• Experience embedding youth participation frameworks within organisations
• Knowledge and understanding of Youth Voice frameworks and models
• Experience in group facilitation and an understanding of the co-design process
• Experience overcoming key obstacles in embedding youth voice frameworks
• Strong written communication and the ability to demonstrate empathy through written word
• A clear understanding of digital tools that young people use - including social media
• Experience delivering Youth Voice activities
• A youth work qualification or equivalent work experience

A key part of the role will be helping develop further how we evaluate the impact of our programmes. The main duties of the role

• To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
• To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
• To act as an impact expert for the charity, using data and impact reporting internally and externally to develop IntoUniversity’s strategic goals

What the job involves

We're looking for a Proposition Development Manager to join a newly created team within our Fundraising directorate. The team have been created to work alongside the high value teams (Philanthropy and Partnerships) to provide them with the highest quality donor research, funding propositions and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations. 

As the Proposition Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in this team, supporting our ambitious high value fundraising strategy and the development of Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal. You'll take the lead in developing the Appeal case for support, and crafting funding propositions. Collaborating closely with our high-value fundraisers, you'll develop bespoke funding propositions ranging from six to seven figures, ensuring they resonate with potential donors. 

Your expertise will be central in guiding our high-value teams on creating impactful funding proposals, supported by consistent access to organisational priorities and plans. You'll also establish an 'Information Bank' of materials to support fundraising efforts. Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, you'll maintain the integrity of our data records in alignment with GDPR and organisational policies.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a fundraiser who understands high value fundraising. You’ll have experience in building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts with major donors, companies, and potentially grant funders. Working in collaboration with our high value fundraisers, Research and Support and Influencing teams to create engaging and bespoke propositions. 

You’ll be an excellent communicator, often translating complex and technical information to a range of audiences and stakeholders in multiple formats (e.g. proposals, presentations or web copy). Your exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills will enable you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention, is a newly developed role at the DEC, responsible for shaping and delivering new and existing supporter journeys for DEC individual, community and legacy donors, and leading a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the DEC and the public.

The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention will:

• Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies, including the refreshing, implementation and analysis of the DEC’s segmentation, to maximise future income and continually improve the retention of individual supporters for future emergency appeals,
• Lead on the production of retention and reporting back materials for individual and community supporters,
• Manage the development and maintenance of specific supporter journeys,
• Develop and oversee the materials and supporter positioning for a light touch and mainly reactive legacy marketing programme for the DEC.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategy and Planning

• Develop and implement the direct marketing retention strategy, ensuring that past learnings are built upon, and new ideas are tested.
• Develop and implement specific audience journeys for segments across both the life cycle of a DEC appeal and between appeals.
• Ensure timely and relevant communications to all direct marketing, community, and legacy audiences on the impact of their donations.
• Build an improved supporter journey strategy for new, repeat, and lapsed donors.
• Lead, design, and monitor the collection of audience insight during appeals.

Fundraising

• Develop the DEC’s donor journeys for individuals and community supporters, monitoring the development of segments and the engagement of repeat donors.
• Provide analysis during and following an appeal of performance to measure and report performance against key indicators and develop recommendations for improving impact in the next appeal.
• Support the stewardship of community fundraisers and groups in conjunction with the Supporter Services team.

Networking and building relationships

• Develop excellent working relationships with the DEC’s suppliers including creative agencies, media agencies, SMS and email suppliers, and the print/mailing house.
• Work with permanent and temporary staff at the DEC during appeals to maximise the success of the appeal.

As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.

The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.

You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.

Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is seeking a passionate and skilled Trusts & Foundations Officer to join our dedicated team and help secure vital funding to support our mission. By securing grants and building long-term relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued care and wellbeing of the Chelsea Pensioners.

The Role:

As the Trusts & Foundations Officer, you will take ownership of an exciting and diverse portfolio of charitable trusts, foundations, and other grant-giving organisations. Reporting to the Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising, you will work to grow both restricted and unrestricted funding to help meet the Royal Hospital’s long-term income targets. This role requires strategic thinking, and the ability to develop and nurture lasting relationships with funders.

Key Responsibilities

As the Trusts & Foundations Officer you will assist in identifying new funding opportunities to expand the existing funder base, work closely with all departments to develop tailored proposals and implement the organisation's fundraising strategy. You will maintain a rolling programme of bespoke grant applications while building and stewarding long-term relationships with funders. The role includes supporting the Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising with donor communications, trust and statutory fundraising applications, submitting timely reports, and maintaining accurate records.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant fundraising role, and a good understanding of the voluntary sector funding environment. They should be skilled in researching and developing new funding pipelines, managing multiple contacts, and have excellent writing, proof-reading, and organisational abilities. Financial literacy and budget management are essential, alongside IT proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems like ThankQ. Candidates should have experience raising funds from trusts and foundations, managing donor relationships, and working to targets and deadlines.

An exciting position has arisen for a Financial Accountant to work for an excellent West London Community Based Charity to provide some critical support to year end. The postholder will be assisting the Head of Finance produce the annual accounts and preparations for audit.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning, preparation, and delivery of statutory reports, publications, external audits, and drafting the annual report and accounts within agreed timetables
• Supporting the Head of Finance in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all the Trust’s financial records
• Working with the Head of Finance, complete and document the Charity’s rent lease incentive calculation (FRS102 on work related to lease incentive and adjustments)
• Producing a detailed audit schedule in a timely manner for review 
• Preparing monthly reconciliations and be responsible for the integrity of those
• Responsible for VAT accounting and carrying out adjustments
• Processing journals ensuring that all accounting entries are supported by working papers for analytical review and audit
• Be responsible for documenting year-end processes in the work of the Finance team
• Understanding the structure of the Trust and apply FRS102 on work related to lease incentive and adjustments

Key duties and responsibilities

Do you have experience managing internal communications, working within fundraising teams or delivering training and briefings to staff?

The post holder will:

-lead on improving communication and cross working between teams, across the directorate of 100+ people and with the wider organisation, ensuring that fundraising staff are equipped with the information, tools, networks, processes and systems to be able to carry out their roles effectively.

-champion collaboration across the directorate, the federation, with Mind Retail and with Mind Cymru, enabling teams to problem-solve together and deliver solutions that place our supporters front and centre, whilst maximising the value of our products and assets.

-help to support the fundraising teams to have a united sense of purpose and direction, a sound understanding of the tools, protocols and cross-working processes that enable them to do their job effectively, and that their needs are understood both within the directorate and wider organisation.

The post reports to the Head of Fundraising Operations and works with staff across Mind and closely with senior management roles within Fundraising. The post holder will also need to work effectively with independent local Minds and colleagues in Wales.

The post holder will also line manage the Directorate Administrator, who provides secretariat support to the Fundraising leadership team and the wider directorate.
