This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as a Senior Project Manager (Equity Diversity and Inclusion).
The Senior Project Manager (EDI) will work cross-organisationally to manage the many workstreams which span UNICEF UK’s new EDI Strategy and programme of work, ensuring intended benefits are delivered as agreed. This will include our already underway anti-racism programme.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in successfully managing complex and large scale cultural and behavioural change programmes in a complex environment. To be successful in this role, you will have: knowledge and practical experience in project, programme and change management methodologies, as well as a thorough understanding of emergent change; strong communication skills; ability to lead collaborative change, and role model anti-racist behaviours.

Our application process: We use a system called "Applied" that anonymises your responses and focuses on your actual skills that are relevant to this role. This benefits you by giving you a greater chance of expressing your skills in this objective selection process.
We anticipate most colleagues will work one or two days a week in the office on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London and the rest of the time from home. We will happily discuss other flexible options to suit your circumstances.
We particularly welcome applications from black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates, LGBTQ+ candidates, disabled candidates, and from men, because we would like to increase the representation of these groups at this level at UNICEF UK. We welcome a conversation about your flexible working requirements, personal growth, and promoting a workplace where you can be yourself and achieve success based only on your merit.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact the Supporter Care line during office hours.

Contract: Permanent, full-time hours
Refugee Council is seeking an experienced philanthropy specialist to develop and grow the Refugee Council’s Philanthropy relationships and programme and deliver an ambitious Philanthropy strategy.
Refugee Council is a leading charity supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK. Providing practical, hands on support, their award winning services include welcoming refugees into local communities across the country, providing specialist children’s services – with a particular focus on refugee children who arrive here alone, helping people to navigate the asylum system, and supporting people to access housing and employment. Refugee Council knows that step change takes time and planning, and they have put together a plan for growth that is ambitious but is also realistic and allows time for development and engagement. This plan also includes recruiting prospecting, stewardship, and communications expertise, so that growth is supported, planned and achievable.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious team recently shortlisted for Fundraising Team of the Year at the 2023 Third Sector Awards, and working with the Third Sector 2023’s Frontline Service Team of the Year, as well as contributing to the transformation of the experiences of refugees seeking protection in the UK.
