About You
We are seeking a passionate, and experienced leader with a proven track record in the non-profit or academic sector to join our team as CEO. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a comprehensive understanding of sentencing and/or the wider criminal justice system. Your background will include strategic planning, governance, and financial management, with a strong ability to secure funding through grants and partnerships.
You will inspire and lead a diverse team, with expertise to build and maintain strong relationships, and represent our organisation in public forums and the media. Additionally, you will have a proven track record in leading the production of research and/or policy publications. A commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is essential, along with excellent organisational and IT skills. As a forward-thinking leader you will demonstrate strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
What We Offer
The post is offered on a full time basis at 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. Part time hours of no less than 30 hours per week could be considered for the right candidate if required. An attractive package is offered alongside flexible hybrid working arrangements. The salary for a full time post at this level is £65,000.

Purpose of the job
This role is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the UK Youth Fundraising team. UK Youth already works with a broad range of exciting corporate partners, including Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, KFC, Burger King and RSA Insurance. Key responsibilities
- Lead and secure income from new corporate organisations and achieve new business targets
- Identify new corporate opportunities to add to the new business corporate pipeline
- Pro-actively engage new businesses using a range of methods: e.g. working with senior stakeholders, events, networking, cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
- Develop and strengthen warm relationships with prospective funders and find opportunities to engage them in the work of UK Youth
- Develop corporate bids, budgets and proposals, managing the process across different teams, cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Create and present high quality, persuasive funding bids to C-suite audiences and senior stakeholders
- Present and attend meetings alongside senior leaders and stakeholders at UK Youth
- Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager to identifying new streams of income from different corporate audiences
- Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager to develop the corporate partnerships offer beyond income generation, identifying opportunities for corporate partners to offer their skills and expertise to further UK Youth’s charitable objectives
- Ensure all donations are accurately recorded and recognised, working closely with the finance team
- Ensure that the CRM is up to date and accurate at all times
- Keep up to date with trends, research and data on fundraising and corporate partnerships, helping to inform long-term strategy
Experience we're after
- Demonstratable experience in a sales or corporate fundraising role, working on six – seven figure proposals
- Proven track record of corporate partnerships fundraising/ securing sales targets from new organisations
- Experience of working in a busy and deadline-driven environment and achieving ambitious targets
- Experience negotiating, pitching and presenting to senior (C-suite) internal and external stakeholders

What the job involves
We're looking for a Proposition Development Manager to join a newly created team within our Fundraising directorate. The team have been created to work alongside the high value teams (Philanthropy and Partnerships) to provide them with the highest quality donor research, funding propositions and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations.
As the Proposition Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in this team, supporting our ambitious high value fundraising strategy and the development of Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal. What we want from you
We’re looking for a fundraiser who understands high value fundraising. You’ll have experience in building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts with major donors, companies, and potentially grant funders. Working in collaboration with our high value fundraisers, Research and Support and Influencing teams to create engaging and bespoke propositions.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, often translating complex and technical information to a range of audiences and stakeholders in multiple formats (e.g. proposals, presentations or web copy). The Role:

The Person:
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working in a fundraising position and driving an income-generation strategy. You will have demonstrable success in securing gifts from a range of donors and in building excellent relationships, with colleagues, donors and beneficiaries. You’ll come with substantial experience in applying for grants from a range of sources and in securing legacy pledges.
The ideal candidate will have a proven knowledge of fundraising principles and of the Fundraising Regulator and Charity Commission guidelines. You’ll be experienced in using fundraising databases and data segmentation to identify and develop prospect lists. Exceptional attention to detail and a good working knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles are required.
As our Head of Income Generation, you will be highly motivated with the ability to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations. You’ll share ELF’s passion in supporting cancer patients and their families.
Experience working in a medical charity would be desirable, but we will consider candidates from a variety of charitable backgrounds. Team leadership experience would be beneficial. A fundraising qualification would be useful, although not essential.
This role can is offered on either a full-time or part-time basis. We can be flexible with how the hours sit across the week to fit in with your schedule, however we do ask that the role holder works during core hours and has some flexibility to occasionally attend events and fundraisers outside of working hours. Who we are looking for:

Be a self-starter with strong sales and influencing skills, Able to work independently in particular in developing corporate fundraising products and tools.
Degree in Business, nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in income/revenue generation, fundraising, or new business sales, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.

The role holder will manage and cultivate strong relationships with donors and members of the network, including the funding teams in our host organisations through whom funding flows. They will lead in identifying new funding opportunities and sustaining effective relationships with existing donors. This includes the development of consistently high-quality proposals and reports, whilst also ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. The role involves work across the whole CALP team, serving as an expert for CALP on strategic fundraising and donor relations.
Working as part of a globally dispersed team, this position is UK based and open to applicants with existing right to work in the UK. The role can be home based anywhere in the UK or work from an office in Oxford.

The Donor Relations Manager leads and develops CALP’s fundraising strategy and activities to enable CALP to finance its overall strategy. Essential Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge

- High level experience and knowledge of key humanitarian and development donors such as: ECHO, BHA/USAID, GFFO, FCDO and European government donors.

Summary of the role:
As the Trust and Foundation Coordinator, you will support the International Programmes Department (IPD) by:

The Head of Programmes is a critical role for the organisation, responsible for ensuring DEC funded programmes meet programmatic standards, are fully traceable, routinely monitored and comply with organisational procedures and institutional donors’ requirements. - Deliver and contribute to timely and high-quality infographics, reports and briefings for key stakeholders and institutional donors including Board of Trustees, FCDO and BBC.
- Manage & maintain investment in public transparency and demonstrate DEC’s contribution to the humanitarian sector, including reporting to IATI and UN OCHA Financial Tracking Service (FTS).
- Continuously develop, improve and manage DEC’s Knowledge Information Management systems (KIM), as user-friendly collaborating platforms that enhance learning and enable data analysis, visualisation and high-quality reporting.
- Collect, analyse and present accurate and timely data to help inform a rapid assessment of appeal Criteria 2 for both rapid onset and evolving protracted crises and contribute to the development of the Case for Appeal.
Management and Leadership
- Holistic and flexible approach to any given scenario/context, whilst ensuring a robust process is followed, recorded and documented.
- Deputise for the Director of Humanitarian Programmes and Accountabilit
- Effectively line manage and provide leadership to Grant Managers and Programme Officers, contributing to the high performance of the Programmes & Accountability team.
- Manage the Appeal Surge Roster (external consultants) including overseeing recruitment and necessary training.
- As Serious Incident Reporting Officer, manage processes and support with onward reporting to key stakeholders including FCDO and Charity Commission.
- Manage service providers as required.
