What you’ll be doing?

Duties & Responsibilities
• Finance - Oversee the charity's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, student finances, financial reporting, preparing the content of the annual Trustees Report & management of the College’s investment portfolio. Supervise and manage third party finance services.
• Fundraising & Development - Support the Principal in developing and delivering the fundraising strategy. Maintain strong relationships with key partners, including donors, alumni and students.
• Strategic Planning & Implementation - Liaise closely with the Principal, Governors and Senior Management Team to develop and implement the strategic plan.

• Governance & Compliance – Strategic oversight to ensure the College adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, GDPR, Companies House & the Charity Commission. Liaise and deal with legal and insurance matters.
• HR – Responsible for all HR activities including, but not limited to, contracts, appraisals, performance management, payroll & recruitment. Management of the College’s HR system.
• IT – Responsible for the management of third party contractor ensuring the IT needs of the College are met.

About the role

The purpose of your role
We’re looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our award-winning team to support delivery of our recruitment process to enable us to achieve our ambitious mission.
You will provide comprehensive administrative, candidate and project support to aid the day-to-day delivery of the Police Now Recruitment team. We’re responsible for recruiting and supporting a large pipeline of talented and diverse individuals across our three core programmes so it’s a fast-paced and varied role that involves working closely with candidates as well as our team.
You will be dedicated to delivering an excellent candidate experience throughout our recruitment and onboarding process, as well as being the main point of contact for candidate queries via email, live chat and phone. You will be involved in a range of projects throughout the recruitment yearly cycle all focused on supporting candidates such as application screening and conducting compliance referencing and qualification checks for our offer holders. You’ll also be one of the core team members responsible for welcoming candidates to our assessment centres and facilitating the session to ensure it runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Candidate experience will be at the heart of all you do, and you will support the team with their work with candidates throughout the application journey. This will include screening candidate applications, contacting candidates for further information, and providing support throughout each stage of the process where required such as pre-assessment centre communication.
- You will be part of a team of Coordinators who maintain oversight of our busy inboxes and online live chat to respond to candidate queries. Together you will also facilitate assessment centres and support with running onboarding and attraction events. This will include organisation of events, managing booking candidates, preparing materials, delivering presentations and welcoming and being one of the main points of contact for attendees on the day, whether online or in person.
- Deliver key projects throughout the recruitment yearly cycle, including supporting with candidate onboarding checks, such as referencing and degree certificate verification, as well as monitoring progress through pre-employment checks and pre-academy learning.
- Monitoring and updating our applicant tracking system, preparing and sending candidate communications, updating templates, spotting trends and troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Processing and dealing with invoices from external suppliers, ensuring that these are processed in accordance with organisational finance policies.
- Evaluating the success and impact of projects and making recommendations for future improvements.
- Working closely with the Recruitment Management team to identify areas of need and focus for that week, splitting your time across multiple teams/people as needed.

Key Requirements
- Motivation and passion for the Police Now mission, values, and working within the policing sector.
- Proven administrative experience, ideally in similar high-volume candidate-driven environment and/or supporting a large team.
- A confident communicator who puts candidate experience first and is comfortable delivering presentations to small groups with the ability to build relationships virtually.
- Proficient IT skills, specifically including confidence with Microsoft Excel, as well as general computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to develop knowledge and proficiency of Police Now’s applicant tracking and candidate management systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of the graduate recruitment sector. Experience in any recruitment environment, including facilitating elements of the recruitment and/or onboarding process would be advantageous.
- Be a strong team player, able to build relationships with a large team remotely to understand priorities and flex working style appropriately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a personable and approachable style to communicate well at all levels and with different stakeholders, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and proactively respond to situations.
- There will be a requirement for set days to be worked within the office (approximately 2-3 days per week) or stated venues to support with the running and delivery of events, as well as infrequent travel nationwide.

You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. Role and Responsibilities
Office Facilities and Administrative Support:
- Ensure that the office is a professional, safe, and organised environment, maintaining office contracts and relationships with contractors.
- Liaise with building management on matters affecting the office facilities - service charges, utilities, building services – attending tenant meetings as required. Liaise with the Director of Finance and Operations UK on matters relating to the office lease arrangements.
- Oversee office security – ensure secure access to the office by staff, visitors, and contractors, issuing office fobs and managing their safe-keeping.
- Maintain office stationery and kitchen supplies. Ensure that all parts of the office are kept neat, tidy, and orderly and ensure confidential waste is removed appropriately.
- Induct new staff on the office protocols incorporating health and safety, fire, and security, to include visitors, temporary staff, and volunteers. Keep key policies and procedural documents up to-date and visible, and keep staff informed of provisions and changes.
- As Fire Warden, take lead responsibility to ensure that fire evacuation procedures are effective; maintain the Fire Logbook, fire equipment, fire alarm and fire doors. Conduct statutory checks on fire and electrical equipment. Ensure appropriate numbers of and training of Fire Marshals.
- Work with Director of Finance and Operations UK to evaluate appropriate office insurance to ensure adequate and appropriate cover.
- Undertake key projects to maintain the effective operation of the office and other duties as consistent with the post as requested.
Incoming and Outgoing Mail:
- Receive and process all incoming mail. Frank and dispatch all outgoing mail, ensuring it is sent in a cost-effective manner in accordance with procedures.

Miscellaneous:

- Manage the UK accounts invoicing inbox, processing office invoices and forwarding invoices to the correct departments.
- Process and deposit the weekly banking.

The Role
The Senior Advocacy Officer is responsible for supporting the targeted national and international advocacy efforts of selected partners in countries including Afghanistan, DR Congo, Mali and Sudan, as well as to support the general advocacy conducted by the charity.

About You
We are looking for a Senior Advocacy Offer with excellent representational, interpersonal and team working skills, who is able to communicate with a wide range of people. With excellent writing and verbal communication skills, you will be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks independently.
You will also be fluent in written and spoken English and proficiency in French is a must and as such will be tested at interview.

Purpose
The purpose of the role will be to lead business development across Development Pathways with the aim of sustaining and expanding our business portfolio through engaging with more clients and business opportunities, overseeing the development of new products, building our consultant and associate network, enhancing our internal capacity to generate business and maintaining and developing our brand through effective communications.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Head of Business Development are:
Strategy and leadership:
· Developing and leading our business development strategy and plan to consolidate our current portfolio and move us into new areas of growth.
· Providing strategic oversight and management to improve business development functions and increase fee-based revenue, coordinating across our country offices.
· Building and managing to a high standard a strong business development and communications team aligned to the needs of the organisation.
· Ensuring that we are aware of the latest trends in our focus sectors, monitoring competitors and reviewing Pathways’ offering considering competitors’ developments.
· Participating in the Senior Management Team and contributing to leadership and decision-making across Development Pathways
New business development:

The Head of Business Development is a key leadership position within Development Pathways. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for business development. They will lead a small team in London and engage with our offices in Kenya, Australia and Jordan to support and guide them as they engage in business development. Our Gambling Outreach And Living Support service GOALS is our community-based support service that provides bespoke and holistic 1:1 and group support to individuals and affected other impacted by gambling harms.
Our aim is to deliver an impactful GOALS service across London which builds effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.
A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.
The post holder will work with the Head of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.
Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.
The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, deliver presentations and other promotions within community, education and health centres to help grow and develop the service.
