About the role
Right now, the Partnerships and National Engagement Team is in an incredibly exciting period of growth, as Partnerships Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in building new transformational partnerships which support Crisis new ten-year strategy.
Working as part of a friendly and enthusiastic team you will be you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing and developing a robust pipeline of new partnerships, with value-aligned businesses, developing opportunities for us to work together to help us end homelessness in the UK.
As a key member of the Partnerships Development Team, you will be expected to deliver significant growth in Crisis corporate income and personally secure six and seven figure partnerships and sponsorships.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated, target-driven fundraiser who relishes the opportunity to develop innovative, creative, and strategic corporate partnerships. You will have a track record of pitching, securing, managing, and growing six and seven figure partnerships in the third (or equivalent) sector, coupled with excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders. You are self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, but you also enjoy collaborating with colleagues.
We are looking for a personable and intuitive candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style to achieve maximum impact upon relevant situations and audience.

Job Purpose
To develop and manage your own portfolio of existing trusts, community and individual donors, and research and prioritise new opportunities ensuring high quality stewardship to secure ongoing support. Responsibilities
Trust Fundraising

Develop, manage, and maintain a trust fundraising portfolio with a clear, scheduled pipeline of funding applications, coordinating opportunities and team resources to meet targets.

Cultivate strong working relationships with current and new trust and foundations, proactively seeking meetings.

Global Fishing Watch (GFW) is an international, nonprofit organization committed to advancing ocean governance through increased transparency. We create and publicly share knowledge about human activity at sea to enable fair and sustainable use of our ocean. Founded in 2015 through a collaboration between Oceana, SkyTruth, and Google, Global Fishing Watch became an independent nonprofit organization in June 2017. Using cutting-edge technology, we create and publicly share map visualizations, data and analysis tools to enable scientific research and drive a transformation in how we manage our ocean. Our major focus is on commercial fishing because it is the most widespread human activity at sea, the most impactful on ocean health, and the most crucial for global livelihoods and food security. About the Role:
We are hiring a Fundraising Grants and Reporting Manager at an exciting time for the organization. In April 2023, Global Fishing Watch secured a five-year, US$60 million commitment through The Audacious Project to leverage our data and technology to revolutionize ocean management. This new role will play a foundational part in establishing the grant management process at Global Fishing Watch and shaping its future. You will play a key role in developing and implementing the grant management system and processes, ensuring our fundraising team can deliver first class stewardship and relationship management. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the prime responsibilities of this position are to support fundraising and consequently program teams in ensuring compliant, timely and high-quality donor reporting and grant management and knowledge management. Qualified candidates will bring proven experience coordinating with team members to gather necessary information and translate it into reports that effectively engage and inspire funders. They will need to meticulously review reports to identify gaps and follow up for clarifications as needed. The role requires strong written and oral communications skills, the ability to build and maintain new relationships, and a talent for enhancing existing partnerships.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Grant management:
- Manage the tracking, preparation and submission of funder reports, including working with the project and finance teams to produce timely and accurate narrative and financial reports.
- Improve processes and support coordination of grant opening, review and closing meetings, working with teams in the UK and globally to ensure clear assignment and understanding of responsibilities in relation to compliance, management and deadlines.
- Work with finance, compliance and program teams to ensure that all grant-funded projects comply with the terms and conditions set by funders.
- Work with program and finance teams to ensure effective systems and processes are in place for grant management and compliance, such as for tracking grant timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with colleagues and partners to gather necessary insights and information for donor reports, translating program activities and learning into clear funding reports that effectively communicate our impact to our funders and supporters.
- Contribute to Global Fishing Watch’s annual report as needed, and provide updates to the communications team on relevant website copy, specifically the donor information on the financials web page.
- Ensure all grant documentation is stored and updated in relevant systems.
- Conduct regular meetings with program and finance teams to review grant performance and expenditure.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with grant compliance, such as underperformance, budget overspend/underspend, or missed deadlines.
- Work with finance and program teams to develop contingency plans for addressing challenges that may arise during the grant lifecycle.
- Share ideas, information and learning to contribute to grant management systems and processes, and to support broader learning with partners and donors.
- Support, advise and coach the Global Fishing Watch team to successfully contribute to grant management efforts.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of four years of progressively responsible administrative, finance, operations, project management or related experience.
- Grant administration experience, including demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-year grants with multiple reporting and compliance requirements.
- Experience with financial management and budgeting, particularly in the context of grant-funded projects.
- Experience of effective and values-based partnership work between international and local organizations and communities.
- Excellent oral communication, writing and editing skills. Demonstrated experience/training in report writing and expressing complex concepts and issues in a clear, effective manner for a broad range of audiences
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, including experience of communicating effectively across cultures and with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.

Send My Friend to School Campaign Manager
This is a full time post, based in central London Salary: £40,291
The coalition
Send My Friend to School is a UK civil society coalition of international development NGOs, teachers’ unions and charities.
It brings together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media in joint campaigning to demand quality education for all children across the globe. Each year thousands of schools and young people take part in the campaign, teaching young people the power and importance of using their voices in chorus with others across the globe to create positive change.
Send My Friend to School is the UK coalition of the Global Campaign for Education movement which is present in over 90 countries around the world.
Location
This role will be employed by Send My Friend to School Steering Group member Results UK, on behalf of the Send My Friend to School coalition, and will be based in Results UK’s office near Waterloo. Hybrid working is in place whereby staff are required to work from the office at least 2 days a week.
Terms & Conditions
This is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent post, with a 3 month probation period. There is likely to be occasional evening and weekend work involved, for which time off in lieu will be received. Holidays are 25 days pro rata per year plus bank holidays. Line Management
Although working solely on Send My Friend to School coalition activities the Campaign Manager will be employed as part of the Results UK team. Consequently, they will be formally managed by the Results UK Head of Parliamentary Advocacy in terms of workplace-related and employment issues.
The postholder’s work objectives will be agreed and monitored by the Steering Group and the postholder will report to the Steering Group on work priorities, objectives and outcomes.

Overall purpose
This is a key role that will work closely with the Senior Communications Manager, Head of Public Engagement and Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
You will contribute to the implementation of our communications, engagement and fundraising strategies, ensuring that your work is anchored in our organisational and team strategic goals. You will also be closely involved in team planning, whether it’s inputting into our operational plan or sharing ideas for new campaigns.
There are opportunities to get hands-on developing and delivering communications and fundraising campaigns to educate and inspire individuals, businesses, and other audiences. The aim of these campaigns is to help remove barriers to employment for refugees and bring about systemic change via our partnerships. Please note, we do not currently run political campaigns.
You will be responsible for creating and delivering day-to-day communications across our owned channels (social media, email newsletters, and some website content). You will also help colleagues create content for earned and paid communications that they’re leading on (press and media, digital marketing, engagement with influencers)
A team player, you will build strong relationships across Breaking Barriers so that you can source and develop content that:
- increases our visibility and influence
- showcases our impact
- inspires members of the public to help refugees build new lives in the UK
- engages and stewards our key audiences, including corporate partners, employees who advocate for refugees, individual donors, volunteers, and people of a refugee background.
You will support the Senior Communications Manager to maintain our strong brand, ensuring that all our content complies with our brand guidelines and is of a high standard.
With a good eye for detail, you will play a key role in our data management, including overseeing data on the storytelling section of our CRM, monitoring communications enquiries, and setting up and running reports. You will become a Salesforce Superuser (full training and support will be provided for this).

Corporate Partnerships are a vital income stream for Habitat for Humanity GB, and with the guidance of our Head of Corporate, the Corporate Partnership Manager will work to maximize fundraising opportunities and strengthen relationships with our current partners.
What the role involves
The Partnerships Manager will help to retain long term support and drive growth within in our portfolio for Habitat for Humanity GB. With an understanding of corporate partnerships and a passion for the charity sector and international humanitarian work, you will work as part of a team to ensure long-term relationships are fostered. · Previous experience of raising funds from Corporate Partners for development programs across the world and in the UK.

A flexible approach
HFHGB is seeking to rapidly scale up its activities and impact to fight poverty across the world. This means that the organisation must be adaptable and flexible and have an ambitious, and dynamic team. While this is a home-based role, there is an expectation that the post holder will be flexible, and able to travel to Greater London and elsewhere on a regular basis.
This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship - the successful applicant will need to have a pre-existing Right to Work in the UK in order to be offered an employment contract.

We are working with an awesome charity who are looking for a passionate Corporate Partnerships Manager - account management - to join their team for an initial 9 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high value existing and new business partnerships in order to deliver on partnership objectives and maximise income, support and awareness for the charity
- Support new business development and develop regional small business in line with objectives.
- Implement national, regional, and local corporate partnership initiatives.
- Develop and deliver innovative approaches to achieving fundraising targets and new opportunities for employee engagement.
- Lead on designated partnerships, projects, and events contributing to the partnership plan.
- Implement and maintain excellent communication procedures with colleagues and key stakeholders to coordinate delivery and raise awareness of partnership objectives and targets.
- Represent the charity at corporate events as required.
- Administer appropriate income/expenditure procedures, produce monthly reports, and maintain accurate records of fundraising and other activity.
Person Specification
- Understanding the corporate sector and raising funds and awareness from partnerships

- Experience of working in a demanding and profit driven corporate/business, fundraising, sales or marketing environment.

Refugee Council – Stewardship and Events Manager
Location: Stratford, London (hybrid of home working and 1-2 days per week in Stratford Office)
Salary: £43,824-£48,063 (depending on experience)

Refugee Council is seeking a Stewardship and Event Manager to lead on excellent stewardship and events at the charity.
Refugee Council is a leading charity supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK. Providing practical, hands on support, their award winning services include welcoming refugees into local communities across the country, providing specialist children’s services – with a particular focus on refugee children who arrive here alone, helping people to navigate the asylum system, and supporting people to access housing and employment. Evidence from services is then used to also inform the charity’s leading policy and influencing work, including campaigning for a fairer and kinder refugee protection system. The charity works with more than 14,000 men, women and children every year.
As a result of growing need and increasing interest in Refugee Council’s work, the charity has ambitious plans to make a leap in impact, with investment in their Philanthropy Team to raise increased funds from key high value audiences.
This role will be a critical part of the Philanthropy & Partnerships management team and represents a brilliant opportunity to support the growth and development of our major donor, trust and statutory and corporate partnerships portfolios.
Working with key stakeholders from across the organisation, the postholder will play a lead role in the development and delivery of an ambitious stewardship and events programme, offering a range of activities to engage and inspire supporters, and ensure that they are connected to, and inspired by, the work of Refugee Council.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing a special events programme to support cultivation and income generation, as well as of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. They will also have experience of leading on the conceptualisation, planning and delivery of a range of event types, from small, intimate dinners to large receptions and be adept at creating and managing a monitoring and evaluation framework to track activity and apply lessons learned to future activities. They will also be comfortable working with senior leaders within Refugee Council, as well as corporate leaders, parliamentarians and other influential people, alongside having a sound understanding of the principles and impact of exemplary stewardship and cultivation of supporters and prospects.
Refugee Council will provide the most moving and diverse case for support. Cases that encompass innovative external affairs campaigns aimed at engaging policy makers and the public.
Refugee Council knows that step change takes time and planning, and they have put together a plan for growth that is ambitious but is also realistic and allows time for development and engagement. This plan also includes recruiting prospecting, stewardship, and communications expertise, so that growth is supported, planned and achievable.
