As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will: 

• Account manage a diverse portfolio of corporate partners at the 5 and 6-figure level
• Create and deliver high quality stewardship plans for your accounts to develop and secure incremental income

The Philanthropy Manager is a key member of the Philanthropy & Partner Engagement Department within War Child’s award-winning Fundraising team. Working closely with the Philanthropy Lead (line manager) and Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will manage a portfolio of major donors at 5- and 6-figure level to support a team target of c£1.4M.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will: 

• Identify and qualify a pipeline for up to 6-figure gifts for both unrestricted and restricted giving
• Lead and be supported on building an excellent stewardship programme, supporting relationship managers across the team to deliver sector leading supporter journeys
• Develop and implement strong cultivation and solicitation plans for existing donors to generate significant income from the portfolio. This will include personal meetings, attending networking events, writing proposals/reports and making presentations
• Take an active role where relevant, on the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of philanthropy events, including events that are hosted by Ambassadors

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Experienced in a similar fundraising role, with a knowledge of major donor fundraising, ideally within an international development or humantarian NGO
• Ability to input into fundraising strategies with a track record of securing 4-5 figure gifts and delivering against targets
• Experienced in stewardship strategies for major donors or the development of supporter journeys in order to retain donors
• A relationship focussed approach with strong networking skills at senior levels internally and externally

This is an exciting opportunity for a Trust Fundraising Manager with proven experience, to maximise income for Whizz Kidz services from Trusts and Foundations through researching new funding opportunities, creating high quality applications with Service staff and stewarding existing warm funders effectively. 

The Role

As Trust Fundraising Manager you will secure new funding opportunities and work on a pool of warm and cold charitable Trusts with a focus on the £10,000 to £40,000 range.  The role involves researching and qualifying prospects, submitting high quality funding applications and stewarding existing donors effectively. It will also involve managing reporting deadlines and matching potential donors to projects needing to be fundraised for, collaborating with our Service Teams. 

You will prepare applications and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines, keeping in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and face to face. You will match potential donors with projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach.

The person

You will have experience of: Securing funding from Trusts with excellent writing and presentation skills; Solid prospect research skills to identify new funding opportunities and maintain a forward pipeline of applications; Of working collaboratively with Service Teams to package and cost project areas; Stewardship of warm funders including preparing donor reports, reviewing financial reports and gathering case studies. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

Key Fundraising Responsibilities

• Develop communications content that will invigorate our existing donors and inspire new ones leading to increased giving by individuals to IPWSO.
• Focusing in particular on our website and social media channels, communicate our achievements, impacts and needs with a view to influencing IPWSO’s online supporters to make donations and engage in fundraising initiatives.
• Provide outstanding donor care to encourage a high level of retention and repeat donations.

The Role

We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.

IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. Lead a small team raising the resources and engaging with audiences to support the delivery of wide ranging services helping refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants to settle and thrive locally. The manager will have proven all round experience and a track record of delivering income from multiple and varied sources. They will need to work from the Oxford office at least two days a week to build relations with other teams. Beyond that location and working hours are flexible. 

About the role

As the new Community and Events Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing The Passage's Community Fundraising strategy, designed to inspire and engage both existing and new supporters, ultimately building a stable and sustainable income pipeline.

Main duties

• Help deliver the teams’ existing events and community fundraising products, growing net income and actively seeking new opportunities for expansion.
• Act as an ambassador for The Passage with community groups, personally delivering talks and presentations to build relationships and promote our work.

Working to a new Fundraising strategy with ambitious plans for growth, the Public Fundraising Manager will help us reach the next level in our income generation.

The role will combine direct responsibility for the retention and growth of our Individual Giving income streams (regular giving, lottery, appeals) with leadership and support of our other public facing income streams (community, legacy and in memory giving).

As the most experienced fundraiser in the team, the role will work closely with the Head of Fundraising to deliver on the Fundraising strategy, managing the team in an empowering way to motivate and inspire the team to drive income.

You will have proven experience of:

- Successfully delivering an individual giving income stream

- Campaign project management and working in collaboration with other stakeholders

- Collating and analysing data to drive decision making

- Gaining trust and building rapport with individuals quickly

- Effective storytelling to inspire supporters into action

- Delivering stewardship journeys that retain supporters to drive long term connection

We are looking for an exceptional Communications Officer (Fundraising) to join our Marketing and Communications team, with a focus on raising awareness amongst existing and potential stakeholders and fundraisers. Working closely with the Fundraising team, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing, and writing powerful fundraising stories and case studies, ensuring consistency with our brand and messaging, that bring the RNRMC to life which engender support and drive engagement.

About the RNRMC

RNRMC is the Navy’s principal charity which exists to support every sailor, marine and their families, for life. We do this by offering grants to and working with, other organisations to deliver programmes that meet the needs of our beneficiaries. We work hard, engaging with supporters to help raise awareness and funds to deliver the outcomes required for today and tomorrow. 

Experience and Background

You will have previous experience within a communications, marketing, or PR role along with a good standard of education, excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with good attention to detail.  You must possess strong story-telling skills with the ability to translate the complex and nuanced work of the RNRMC into clear and concise narratives that increase understanding of the charity. You will have excellent interpersonal and engagement skills, with a welcoming and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and the ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload, juggling consecutive projects and often conflicting deadlines.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Frequent travel to meet and interview beneficiaries will be required, along with a willingness to work outside normal office hours to obtain the story.

We have a friendly, supportive, and inclusive environment with a hybrid working framework involving the opportunity to work from home and in the RNRMC offices. There will be a small number of roles where employees will be required to work only from our offices, but typically most employees will be able to work remotely on average 40% of their working week. All employees are welcome to use our office for their whole working week if that is their preference.

Salary

The full time equivalent annual salary range for the post is between £26,500 up to £29,000 per annum based on experience.
