World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to refugees in the UK.
STEP provides a bespoke employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that refugees face when preparing for, and ultimately finding work in the UK. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Assistant to join the STEP team. You will play a crucial role in assisting Employment Advisors to provide employment support to refugee clients across the UK.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting with administration and management of programmes, including regular reporting
- Supporting Employment Advisors with client referrals and other general support
- Assisting with the ongoing monitoring and impact measurement of programmes
- Analysing results and identify trends to use data to drive changes and improve quality of programmes.
- Answering referral phone line
- Supporting referral process and management of referrals
- Eligibility assessments of prospective clients
- Triaging enquiries from case workers and public
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Previous administrative / team support experience
- A high level of administrative skills including a good knowledge of Microsoft packages and databases
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy across every aspect of your work
- High levels of efficiency and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Ability to use your own initiative and make independent decisions.
- Competency in speaking another language is desirable e.g. Amharic, Arabic, Dari/Pashto, Dinka Farsi, Kurdish, Ormo, Somali, Tigrinya, Turkish

Primrose Hill Community Association (PHCA) run a community centre and a community library. This post will be helping to administer the work of both, including helping to administer membership, newsletters, social media, activities, events, projects, hall hire, meetings etc. It is a lively, busy environment in which to work.

The Head of Alumni Engagement is a senior role within the Development Office, which will focus on encouraging a positive experience for our global community of 500,000 alumni. We are recruiting four Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. These will be dedicated, regional roles where you will support the scale up of the IPS workforce in your designated region.
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. The Workforce Leads will work closely with IPS Grow Regional Managers, local and national stakeholders, including NHS services, to recruit the IPS workforce needed to achieve high levels of employment outcomes for IPS clients.

The Donor Relations Officer is a key role within the Development Office at the University of London. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a best practice programme of stewardship, donor engagement and recognition for the University of London’s donors, ensuring sustainability and growth of the donor base. Role Requirements
The role holder will assist in maintaining high standards of professional competence and integrity in the finance team and play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Finance in running the overall finance department.
Oversight of the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
Responsibility for internal controls; prompt reconciliations of control accounts, separation of duties, and compliance with proscribed systems of authorisation
Assist in the preparation of annual accounts, in compliance with the SORP and relevant GAAP. Liaison with external and internal auditors
Lead in preparation of the annual cash flow forecast, and preparation of monthly reconciliations between forecast and actual
Bank reconciliations and posting of transactions
Month end processes and journals
Manage the purchase ledger function, ensuring the ledger is kept clean and at an acceptable level. Ensure the Purchase Ledger Manager is maintaining the sub ledgers within purchase ledger
Assist with the credit control function, in liaison with relevant service leads. This will be supported by KPIs
Oversee the Fundraising Accountant role, ensuring accuracy of reconciliations between Fundraising and Finance
Manage the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring its accuracy
Submission of the quarterly VAT returns and VAT reconciliations
Ad hoc Projects as required by the Head of Finance

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic IV Coordinator who will be responsible for the day to day running of the independent visitor service in Solihull and Bedford, splitting your time between these two services working 27 hours for Solihull and 8 hours for Bedford.
You will be responsible for managing and developing a pool of volunteers which includes the recruitment, training, and induction of new volunteers to become volunteer independent visitors, before matching them with a young person who has been referred to the service.
