Artistic Director

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Artistic Director dedicated to supporting young people from challenging backgrounds and empowering the next generation of music industry leaders.
You'll work closely with the CEO and the team to:
- Reach over 100,000 young people annually through direct engagement, performances, digital content, and school programmes across the UK

The Role

We are working in partnership with Weston Hospicecare, a highly regarded local charity founded by the local community over 30 years ago. They are the major provider of specialist palliative care in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, and Sedgemoor, providing free of charge physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual care to local people.
A new Director of Fundraising is sought to provide inspiring leadership to the fundraising function of Weston Hospicecare, implementing a fundraising strategy that will build voluntary income from its current level of £2 million per annum to provide long-term and sustainable income sources for the Hospice. Building a high performing fundraising team, with excellent working relationships throughout the organisation, through effective and decisive leadership, coaching and developing existing staff and recruiting new talent to take the activity forwards will be essential. RJ4All is looking for an innovative UK Operations Director who will drive impactful social justice projects and community initiatives while fostering strategic growth and income generation. Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) is a charitable, user-led international institute with expertise in preventing and addressing harm at the individual, community and inter-state levels. We are one of the world’s leading experts in transferring complex criminological and social justice concepts into practice through real-life pilots and community projects.
The UK Operations Director will lead on the delivery, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of RJ4All’s UK-based services, and especially those run from the RJ4All Rotherhithe Community Centre. It is expected that they will generate income for the UK operations and contribute to new ideas for UK-based projects that fall within RJ4All’s agreed strategy. Finally, the post holder will act in place of the Director when they are unavailable or for any other agreed reason.

Rock UK has an exciting opportunity for a new Centre Director at its Carroty Wood outdoor adventure centre in Tonbridge, Kent. We are looking for a committed Christian who is passionate about their faith, the outdoors and young people. The Centre Director will have the management experience and pastoral heart to lead and inspire the centre staff team with a desire to share the love of Jesus with our guests through adventure, hospitality and service. The Associate Director of Local Fundraising is a senior role within the Income, Innovation and Engagement directorate; a highly ambitious and professional team which is working to grow income and strengthen the organisation’s voice across the UK as the leading end of life care charity in the UK. Marie Curie has ambitious financial growth targets and needs to drive net contribution, engagement and awareness if they are to achieve their fundraising ambitions and subsequently their service growth goals.

Role Purpose
GDI Hub are looking for a Research Assistant to support the team across its portfolio of projects with a diversity of clients, partners and stakeholders.
The Research Assistant role sits within GDI Hub’s Community Interest Company’s Research and Delivery Team, led by Mikaela Patrick, Head of Research and Delivery.
For a portfolio of clients (for example, Asian Development Bank, World Bank & IFC, Carbon Trust and Dubai Expo City), and projects under the UK Aid funded AT2030 programme cluster ‘Integrate - Strengthen the systems which make inclusion a reality’ (for example, Local production Systems of AT, Designing Inclusive Dignity Kits for Dissemination in Humanitarian Crises and Climate Resilient Cities), GDI Hub’s Research and Delivery Team:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative, primary and secondary research
- Report academic research and grey literature publications with recommendations, blogs and insights reports
- Provide strategic and operational consultancy and technical assistance
- Design and deliver training and workshops, host and present speaker sessions
- Organise knowledge dissemination for high impact
- Track impact and reach of research and delivery
GDI Hub’s Research and Delivery Team have a range of thematic expertise, including inclusive design, accessibility, inclusive infrastructure, inclusive climate resilience and responses, disability and gender, financial inclusion and inclusive private sector practice.

Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience working or academic study in relevant fields (including working closely and collaboratively with disabled people and disabled people’s organisations is desirable), such as international disability inclusion, assistive and accessible technology, accessibility and inclusive design, disability innovation and global health; with willingness to grow expertise across these areas.
- Ideally have some experience (approx. 2-5 years) working on research projects and/or practice-focused research in a related field. This could be as part of further study, research or in a work capacity. Real work experience is desirable.
- A post graduate qualification or equivalent work experience, focused on an area relevant to disability inclusion, accessibility and / or assistive technology.
- Experience and confidence to independently conduct qualitative research and analysis, and literature reviews.
- Experienced in quantitative research and analysis with proficiency in designing and running quantitative data collection via surveys and analysing results to inform statistically representative and robust results. Confidence to independently conduct descriptive and correlational analysis using for e.g., ExCel, Python, R or SPSS.
- Independence in producing clear and insightful infographics and data visualisations.
- Excellent written communication skills, with ability to take on writing of reports using clear and compelling narrative; experience authoring lucid and informative insights and reporting.
- Excellent ability to communicate, work in a small dynamic team, and collaborate with individuals with diverse technical backgrounds and with external stakeholders.
- Confidence in client relationship management for organisation of meetings, email engagements and clients and stakeholder presentations.

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support survivors of torture, trafficking and other extreme human cruelty. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world.
The expertise of the Foundation is renowned in the field. Through the Model of Integrated Care, HBF offers survivors access to an individually tailored programme of specialist therapy, medical advisory services, legal protection including providing expert medico-legal documentation as part of the MLR Service, welfare and housing support, and creative and skills activities within an integration programme. Survivors of human trafficking benefit from HBF’s counter-trafficking programme of support.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
HBF is seeking an experienced and dynamic lawyer for an interim period to give direction to the Legal Protection, Medico-Legal and Client Services of the Foundation. This role is crucial for advancing the rights and protection of our clients, many of whom are vulnerable individuals seeking asylum or are survivors of trafficking. We do not provide legal representation directly to our clients, instead we act as a support team to our clients and their legal representation by providing second tier advice. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure the highest standards of legal protection, and contribute to the overall mission of the Foundation including developing relationships that promote HBF’s expertise and reputation. This role requires exceptional people management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team, foster collaboration, and articulate complex legal issues clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will:
1. Vision and direction
- Articulate a clear vision for the organisation’s campaigning; lead the organisation and the team to implement this vision and help deliver an increase in the scale and impact of WaterAid’s global influence to accelerate progress towards SDG6;
2. Global Campaign Plans
- Lead the design and implementation of WaterAid’s priority global campaigns to maximise WaterAid’s influence on global and national political debates, working in partnership with senior leaders across the organisation.
- In partnership with the Global Policy and Advocacy Director, ensure WaterAid’s campaigns and advocacy are rooted in robust evidence and credible policy analysis;
