Through our 6 week course we help them to feel calm, confident, to have positive thoughts about themselves, to have higher self esteem and trust in others. We work with over 2000 children and young people across the UK every year and have reached over 14,000 over the past 14 years.
It is an exciting time to join the charity - we have a new CEO in post who has plans to take this charity to new heights - reaching even more children than ever before and we need an experienced fundraiser who can help us achieve that vision. Working as part of a small fundraising team you will have the ability to really make a substantial difference.
The role is advertised as 15 hours however there is the hope that this will end up being increased in the not too distant future. We will consider candidiates working remotely but for those based near HQ (Newquay, Cornwall) you will be able to join in with our pre work swims/paddles/coffee on the beach and our Bring and Share lunches! You’ll work with teams across the charity including marketing, product, retail, and health to develop insight plans, manage research projects and deliver insights to inform decision making.
In this role, you’ll inspire colleagues to value insights and evidence. Your work will help teams see the power of using insights to shape their decisions and strategies.
Using a variety of quantitative and qualitative tools and methodologies, you’ll run in-house research projects end-to-end. You’ll carry out data analysis and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders such as by delivering reports, debriefs and workshops.
You’ll also manage projects that are outsourced to external research agencies – including procurement, project management and quality assurance throughout the project.
This role sits within the Customer Insight and Analysis team, a team of researchers, data and digital analysts, and data scientists. We work across the BHF to ensure the organisation’s strategy is led with high quality, timely intelligence, and our colleagues can access high quality insight to support decision making, drive growth and improve our products and services.
Working arrangements
18-month fixed term contract, covering an internal secondment.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

We are seeking a new Head of Business and Operations to play a crucial role in supporting the Head to review and drive continuous improvement.

The Consultant role will support the Director and Mobilise team to coordinate and deliver a range of projects supporting our clients. This new and exciting role is well suited to an individual that enjoys building new connections, working with and supporting people and organisations to learn and develop, values working to a high standard and wants to bring about change. Role overview
The Communications Executive will co-ordinate and contribute to the planning, implementation, and optimisation of all internal and external communications. This will range from attraction campaigns, public relations, and the internal engagement calendar and events.
The role will co-ordinate production of communications for target audiences from beginning to end – from planning, writing, and editing of copy to measuring effectiveness of communications. In addition, the role will have responsibility for the Now Teach website.

Manage and create content for community management, including social media and internal communication channels

Create and maintain an annual content plan to applicants and career changers in our Network.

Write and produce interesting and engaging articles, social media content, monthly newsletters, marketing emails and webpages that help people consider career change to teaching.

Oversee the functionality of the website, evaluate, and manage website performance, facilitate hosting and server management, and develop, maintain, and update website content.

Creatively drive our social media channels and blogs, increasing engagement and followers.

Research topics and conduct interviews to write blog articles and create other content.
