The focus on nurturing relationships with these donors and providing an excellent experience is a strategic priority. We are seeking an individual with excellent supporter care skills who can help us to build excellent relationships with our supporters and has a real affinity with the work that we do. Your role will involve responding to supporter requests, questions and queries from a range of communication channels, including email and phone, helping to deliver a first-class supporter experience. This frontline role is contributing to the development of the fundraising team to reach unrestricted income targets.
You will report directly to the Director of Supporter Marketing, and work closely with the Database team on a range of activities.
You will have excellent customer service skills and previous experience in a similar role. You will be well organised with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The Corporate & Public Engagement team in the Communications Directorate promotes corporate interest in the College and engages future medics and scientists in careers in pathology, particularly through our awareness activities, including National Pathology Week.
The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Corporate & Public Engagement Manager. This would involve booking meetings, drafting correspondence and tracking our budget. About the role:
The Corporate Fundraising Officer will be instrumental in generating income and in-kind support from local businesses and corporate partners. You'll be given the opportunity to develop and manage corporate partnerships, manage two events, attract corporate volunteers, and promote fundraising initiatives. Alongside the Fundraising and Marketing Manager, you'll be involved in co-ordinating and delivering a corporate fundraising plan and will help the shelter achieve their fundraising strategy.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to enable more Disabled people and carers to use technology in their daily lives to aid wellbeing and independence.

1. Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to CAVA’s Health and Wellbeing Manager to support the delivery of the community engagement aspect of the REN Workplan which is identified through the REN Working/Steering Group. The Coventry and Warwickshire REN is currently funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and aims to increase opportunities and inclusivity for people (particularly from underserved communities) to take part in research, to tackle health inequalities, and identify ways for researchers to improve the health and wellbeing of people across Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care System.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting Working and Steering Group meetings, attending REN events on behalf of CAVA and taking a proactive role in gathering examples of good practice and sharing outcomes and impact with stakeholders. This role will support engagement with communities throughout Coventry and Warwickshire by supporting delivery of in-person engagement events and support the recruitment of, and support related to, Volunteer Community Research Champions who play a vital and central role within this scope of work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support organisation and delivery of in-person engagement events for the REN work
- Support the REN Working and Steering Groups with communications and marketing activities with various stakeholders (including with: VCFSEs; potential and existing volunteer Community Research Champions; updates to funders; and for various communication channels of the ICS)
- Support gathering of examples of good practice and presenting these case studies in various formats
- Support the team with gathering intelligence, and liaising with VCFSEs about capturing and sharing in an Engagements and Insights Atlas the research opportunities and learnings from across Coventry and Warwickshire
- Champion VCFSEs involvement in using their knowledge and understanding of issues related to addressing inequalities and under-representation, and improving health
- Support the REN with writing monitoring reports
- Circulate relevant material and agendas and take notes from virtual and in-person meetings
- Support the REN with the recruitment, on-going support, training, and organisation of virtual and in-person events for volunteer Community Research Champions

About the Role
The Assistant Reserves Officer is one of our team managing and developing the Trust’s nature reserves for people and wildlife. Your work place includes internationally recognised wetlands and woodlands along with nationally important meadows, chalk grasslands and heathland across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.
You will need to have strong experience in practical habitat management, including the use of power tools and machinery, such as chainsaws, brush cutters and BCS mowers. You will have experience of working within a dynamic team and leading volunteers. You will need to have a keen interest in wildlife and preferably a knowledge of the habitats in our area.
No two days are the same as an ARO at HMWT; you will get the opportunity to utilise and develop your practical habitat management skills across our nature reserves including tree felling, coppicing, scrub clearance, hay cutting and pond/ditch management. You will also undertake the maintenance of site infrastructure; assist with the management of livestock; and perform surveying and monitoring of habitat/species, tree safety and infrastructure. These tasks will be delivered working closely with members of the nature reserves team; our volunteer wardens and our practical conservation volunteers.
Willingness to travel throughout our work area and flexibility to work occasional irregular hours is required for this post.

Role purpose: to provide an effective and efficient debt advice service to local residents within the aims, policies and principles of the CA service.
Key responsibilities:
- Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
- Use the Citizens Advice Information System to find, interpret and communicate the relevant information.
- Research and explore options and implications so that clients can make informed decisions.
- Act for the client where necessary by negotiating, drafting or writing letters and telephoning.
- Liaise and negotiate with other statutory and voluntary organisations to progress the client’s case and ensure they receive all assistance available.
- Signpost and refer internally and externally as appropriate in order to link clients into additional relevant support .

- Maintain detailed case records for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring and report preparation.
We're looking for:
- Experience of advice work in debt and benefits. Ideally also experience in a wider range of areas - for example, housing, employment, consumer and immigration.
- Ability to work sensitively with a diverse range of clients
- An understanding of the issues involved in interviewing clients, particularly those who may be experiencing stress and anxiety.
- An ordered approach to your work and an ability to follow set procedures concerning casework and file management etc
- Ability to use IT in the provision of advice and the preparation of reports and submissions.
- Good oral communication skills with particular emphasis on negotiation and representation skills on the telephone.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing with particular emphasis on negotiation and representation skills and on preparing grant applications, reviews, reports and correspondence.
- Numeracy skills required to understand statistics and check calculations.
- Ability to monitor and maintain own work to comply with set standards
- An understanding of and commitment to the Aims and Principles of the Citizens Advice service including the services Equal Opportunities policies.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision, to prioritise own work, meet deadlines whilst contributing to the wider Citizens Advice team.

What will I be doing?

• To listen to our supporters and customers, understanding their motivations and circumstances and providing appropriate, professional and empathetic responses.
• Respond to and resolve supporter and customer requests, via phone, email, web chat and social media, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and drive income generation.
• As the primary point of contact, provide support to our fundraising teams by assessing the appropriate stewardship for supporters that contact CSET.
• To provide outbound engagement calls, and any associated tasks or requests, to a variety of audiences.
• To support regional volunteer managers with the on-boarding and welcoming of new volunteers to the charity.
• To ensure that supporters’ records are kept up to date with appropriate information, including taking opportunities for scheduling proactive contacts.
• Work with your team and others within the wider organisation to find new ways of resolving problems, improving service and team efficiency.

About this key role
As our Accommodation Adviser, you will complete an Initial Needs Assessment (INA) with each service user using a strength-based approached within agreed contractual timeframes, before assessing need and risk, alert to changes that could indicate change in risk or serious harm, including personal safety and safeguarding.
