- Salary: £15,000-£60,000 in personal support.
- Location: We have a range of roles both home based in the UK and overseas.
- Terms of appointment: Full-time or part-time. Permanent.
Key responsibilities:
We have various roles that include different elements of the tasks and responsibilities below.
- Oversee income and expenditure transactions.
- Manage ledgers, reconciliations and journals
- Payroll and pensions processing.
- Follow and review financial processes, procedures and policies, seeking to update them when necessary
- Management of others in the finance team.
- Ensure that finances are managed effectively, that proper accounting records are kept and are in compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines

We are a dynamic organisation with a clear vision to create a world where everyone can know Jesus through the Bible. We're looking for a centre manager for our offices in Senegal. Could this be the adventure for you?
- Salary: £15,000-£60,000 in personal support.
- Location: Senegal
- Terms of appointment: Full-time. Permanent.
Responsibilites
- Develop plans for housing, office and maintenance priorities, operational procedures, security, expenditures, etc.
- Coordinate centre services personnel and make staffing recommendations.
- Supervise purchases of materials and supplies.
- Supervise/carry out maintenance of buildings, vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinate construction projects involving third party contractors.
- Circulate information regarding operation of facilities, vehicles and equipment and maintain records of usage.
- Handle correspondence related to centre services and operations.
- Assist in planning and execution of logistical arrangements for workshops, seminars and conferences.

The Governance Advisor will:
- Advise CIEH's Board and Committees in line with the governance framework and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide high quality, professional governance services as well as support successful AGMs and elections.
- Work across a full range of governance activities, leading on identifying and delivering opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our governance.
- Provide support for fitness to practice cases and act as hearing co-ordinator to fitness to practice panels.
The contract will be for a period of 3 years, commencing January 2025. As such, the salary noted above does not apply, fees will be agreed as part of the Invitation To Tender (ITT) process. About the role:
This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff. There will be an initial induction period that will run Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9am-5pm for a 4 week period. After successfully completing your induction, you will move to your fixed rota of:
Week 1 of rolling rota: Monday 3pm-11pm, Tuesday 11am-7pm & Thursday 3pm-11pm
Week 2 of rolling rota: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 7am-3pm
Week 3 of rolling rota: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 11pm-7am
As a Helpline Adviser you will be: -
- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing support, information and referrals on to Victim Support services and other agencies
- Providing immediate support, advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.
- Seamlessly working across multiple services with different processes, procedures and recording mechanisms.
- Managing and responding appropriately to competing priorities, services and needs.
- Responsible for taking disclosures and responding appropriately by either escalating the safeguarding concern to the 'Designated Safeguarding Officer' or to respond immediately to life threatening situations.
You will need:
- Experience of working in challenging and changing environments with the emphasis on excellence in service delivery.
- Experience of organising and prioritising a complex workload.
- The ability to deal sensitively with challenging and emotionally charged situations, demonstrate empathy and control own emotions.
- The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, including telephone skills
- Knowledge and understanding of:
- Relevant agencies and resources
- Importance of confidentiality and safe working practice
- Diversity issues and principles
- The impact of crime
