The Directoe of Fundraising and Communiations will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Foundation’s 2023 – 2026 Ready for Business organisational strategy and our ambition to reach one million women entrepreneurs by 2030, significantly scaling income generation and building the Foundation’s profile. The postholder will be a member of the Foundation’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), along with the CEO, COO, Director of Programmes and Impact, and Finance Director.
We are seeking an individual who will excel at bringing creative and ambitious growth plans to life and has strong leadership and communications skills. The Director of Fundraising and Communications will have significant multi-income stream experience and will lead the development of a new income generation strategy to drive fundraising activities across philanthropic donors, corporates, family offices, foundations and institutional funding, maximising ROI and creating a sustainable organisation. You will continue to build the profile of the Foundation with key audiences, managing the Foundation’s brand and reputation and positioning the organisation as global experts in women’s entrepreneurship.

What will your typical day involve?

We are excited to be recruiting a Philanthropy Manager to join our Fundraising Team. This is a new role which will be instrumental in setting us up well to grow income from major donors over the coming years. I am delighted to be working with a fantastic charity in search of an Interim Finance Manager. This is a full-time, London based hybrid role for 6-months. As Finance Manager you will have responsibility for primarily the management accounts of the Charity. About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a talented Trusts and Foundations Manager who will help to develop and increase income from this emerging income stream for Habitat. With the support of our Head of Philanthropy, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will research new opportunities, and manage the existing pipeline to meet our income targets.
What the role involves
Trusts and foundations are becoming a growing contributor to Habitat’s global programmes and to our work here in the UK, and there is significant potential to develop this further. The role will initially account manage all funders giving up to £50,000, with potential to work on, and take ownership of, larger projects as we grow. Principle activities will include:
Researching new opportunities: Using a variety of sources to proactively identify relevant funding opportunities, matching these with Habitat’s strategic priorities, and planning approaches.
Making applications: Using your exceptional writing skills to synthesise complex information from a range of sources and craft compelling proposals which clearly communicate the impact of Habitat’s programming globally and in the UK, and the synergy with funder criteria.
Stewarding funders: Building our credibility through timely reporting and communication, and tailoring this to the interests of the funder, with the aim of securing repeat and uplifted funding.
Putting a robust administration framework in place: You’ll need to keep Raiser’s Edge, the CRM system we use, up to date, ensure that funder deadlines are met, and future opportunities recorded.

Join the National Portrait's Gallery’s Development team as Fundraising Manager, Grants. You'll work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager to support the delivery of an ambitious and exciting fundraising programme and raise income through grant-giving bodies, including Trusts and Foundations, statutory funders, and corporate foundations.

The Role
As a key member of the Institute’s growing nature team, you will be working specifically international nature markets. You will be working on a funded project of work, to support COP15 signatories to understand and implement models and markets that unlock private sector capital into nature restoration and conservation and help them meet their Target 19 commitments.
