Minds Up is a growing mental health and wellbeing training programme for young people, delivered in schools across five south east London boroughs by South East London (SEL) Mind. The programme aims to increase young people’s awareness of mental health, help them recognise the signs if they are experiencing poor mental health and help them take action to protect their own mental health and boost their wellbeing.
We are looking for an administrator to help support the effective operation of the Minds Up Service. The role holder will need first rate communication skills, with a genuine passion for supporting young people’s mental health. Applicants will be able to demonstrate skills in efficiently managing a central inbox and calendar, as well as experience as the first point of contact for public enquiries.
The administrator will require knowledge and experience of maintaining up-to-date, accurate records across multiple platforms, and supporting data and report compilation. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.
This role is 15 hours per week, which will be worked over at least 3 days. The hybrid working arrangement would involve at least one day working in the office. The working pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Youth Voice programme
- Oversee the day to day running of The Mix’s Youth Voice programme, ensuring its alignment with
The Mix’s strategy - Lead the management of a database with 500+ young people, overseeing monthly reporting and
data reviews - Cultivate and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for active youth participation
- Matrix manage a team of dedicated Youth Voice staff leads, providing guidance, support, and
fostering collaboration - Design and deliver Youth Voice training for all staff to equip everyone for meaningful involvement
of young people in their work - Advocate for the meaningful involvement of young people in all aspects of The Mix’s internal and
partnership work from ideation through to evaluation - Collaborate with internal teams and prominent brands and organisations to integrate youth insights

Essential

A fast-expanding IAPT compliant Service requires a service administrator to support a team of volunteer counsellors. About the Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP)
The Brent Centre for Young People is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 700 young people a year with a wide range of issues. Our small, ambitious team works in a collaborative and supportive way. A big focus of the role is prioritisation and planning, so you’ll support the Director of Programmes, Head of Impact & Effectiveness and wider team to prioritise, forward plan, manage diaries and prepare for meetings. This is a great role for someone wanting to develop their administrative experience and exposure to board and executive level working. You will have responsibility for supporting a Trustee level grant making committee. You’ll get exposure to the strategic overview of the Charity and insight into managing teams, grant-making and charity operations. You’ll quickly see the impact you can make within the team to improve our effectiveness and ways of working; and what we’re working to achieve as a charity.
Maudsley Charity works primarily with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London, as well as a range of voluntary and community organisations to fund ideas, big and small, that drive service improvement and support people who experience mental illness.
The Charity operates primarily within the four boroughs served by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark), but the work we fund has the potential for wider impact at both national and international levels, through the sharing of the outcomes with the wider mental health community. The aim of this exciting role is to contribute to the delivery of Mind in Tower Hamlets (MITHNR) and East London Foundation NHS Trust’s (ELFT) Talking Therapies Employment Advice Service.
Purpose of the role
To provide employment advice to patients accessing ELFT NHS Talking Therapies, supporting patients to gain and/or retain employment via one to one information, advice and guidance sessions. This role is part of the national Employment Advice in NHS Talking Therapies programme and has been accredited by the Matrix standards for information, advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Role Specific
· Maintain a caseload of clients offering one to one support to help clients find, remain or retain employment.
· Carry out initial telephone assessments and action plans using SMART goals to identify clients goals and barriers to employment.
· Offer a range of employment support interventions to clients that will support them to find, remain or return to work.
· Offer one to one sessions at least 1 evening per week where working hours will be 11 – 6:30pm
· Work in an integrated way with the IAPT clinical team to demonstrate a seamless service to the client. Co-location to different NHS IAPT services and centres across Tower Hamlets to offer Employment Advice.
· Support clients to create CVs, Cover Letters, write applications, inform clients of job search techniques, and provide mock interview practice.
· Provide 1-2-1 support to clients to enable them to return to work after long term sickness absence or other reasons
· Work closely with employers to support clients to remain in their jobs by negotiating reasonable adjustments at the workplace
· Work closely with local employment law professionals and trade unions to offer clients and their employers with information about their employment rights and responsibilities
· Manage allocated service project and work with the team to ensure referrals are received on time
· Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed on time, including questionnaires, reports and minutes for each client engagement and that these are regularly updated using the IAPTus (patient database system) and protocols.
· Ensure Caseload Management Tool is regularly up to date with client session information and targets.
· Signpost the client, where necessary, to other agencies who will be able to provide advice on benefits or support that the client may be entitled to
General
· Comply with, promote, and contribute to the development of MindTHNR’s: Aims and

· Attend appropriate internal, external training courses, E-Learning, supervision, and staff team meetings and away days.
· Other than where central administrative support is available, to be administratively self-servicing.
You must have:
· At least 1 year of providing Employment Advice or equivalent work experience in Employment/IAG Sector
· Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to provide 1-2-1-person centred employment advice
· At least 1 year’s case load management experience
· Demonstrable experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and establishing good working relationships with other provider organisations, e.g., legal advice, job centres and HR
· Experience in offering advice around employment issues including welfare benefits
· Experience of engaging and working with employers in supporting people to gain and retain employment
· Experience of using client database systems and IT systems
· Understanding of Adult Safeguarding principles
· Ability to work well under pressure and deal with conflicting demands and plan, prioritise and manage deadlines and workloads.
· Good understanding of legislation, good practice and
· guidance in relation to employment rights, disabilities, and welfare benefits
· Understanding of the challenges faced by employers when supporting employees with common mental health difficulties

Exams Assistant

As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. This will include supporting examiner panels to organise and run question writing sessions and ensuring that question banks remain up to date.
You will also have a number of other examination-related duties, including – but not limited to – processing applications, invigilating at examination and collating examination results.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Advocates to join our team covering Fife and the surrounding area. You will be involved in one-to-one advocacy along with group work across the area; this could be in a clients’ home, hospital, care homes or other suitable community venues and be home based for administrative tasks. Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
This is a full time role for 35 hours per week, applicants who do not hold the Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy will start on £22,500 per annum.
About you
