About the role
We need someone to come and join us to focus on Corporate Fundraising. You’ll have a track record of fundraising which has resulted in significant donations. You’ll need to meet challenging targets through a wide variety of methods - donations, sponsorships, GAYE, CSR/ESG, cause related marketing, Charity of the Year, employee fundraising, match funding and long-term strategic partnerships as well as develop our Celebrity Ambassadors and stewardship. This role should excite and drive you to succeed.
You’ll be making a huge difference to the everyday lives of parents. We are a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of some very special children and young people and their families.

Essential skills
You’re already in a fundraising role and ready to shine in our role! You are excited to bring new partnerships to the charity to help us help more families.
You’re able to write clearly, simply and accurately, with perfect spelling and grammar.
You’re comfortable speaking to new people - in person, on the phone and through your engaging presentations.
You’re emotionally intelligent. Although you’ll like to talk, the most important thing you’ll do is listen to what the Corporates need to make sure it is a successful and fun partnership. You also need to be emotionally resilient as it is tough hearing the challenges our families face every day.
You’re ambitious and driven and have a passion for the charity.
You’re nice. You get that no player is bigger than the team. You fit right into our culture of supporting and helping each other.
You’re flexible as you may have to work some evenings and weekend work.

Praxis has recently significantly scaled up its campaigns and communications work. We are looking for a new Stories and Media Coordinator to join our Fundraising and Communications team, to help ensure that people with lived experience of the immigration system are the driving force of our dynamic communications work, whilst also building the organisation’s profile and amplifying our systems-change work.
You will play an integral role in the Fundraising and Communications team in an ambitious organisation.
We are looking for the below skills and experience:
· Strong experience and understanding of working with experts by experience in communications, media and storytelling work, including excellent understanding of safeguarding and risk management;
· Significant experience of developing and maintaining good relationships with a range of journalists;
· A sharp understanding of what makes a strong story;
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
· Ability to build relationships and rapport with a wide range of people.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence.
The independent domestic violence advocate will work closely with victims of domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse, from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic violence at the highest risk and their children. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.
The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. The job involves ensuring that women are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment and enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.
This role includes attendance at the office in Warwick district. Travel around Warwickshire for client appointments is essential to role, therefore use of a car essential.

This vacancy involves a unique opportunity to be the Program Coordinator of an exciting new regional partnership program alongside National Ugly Mugs and POW (Notthingham) funded by the National Lottery Communities Fund.
