We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.  

Absolutely central to this is designing, commissioning and managing complex and rigorous impact evaluations with experts in the field. The new government has an ambition to halve knife crime within a decade, and we’re anticipating opportunities to work with them to build evidence on new approaches to tackling violence involving children. Your role will focus on creating and making the best of those opportunities. You will: 

• Serve as a senior member of the team. YEF is buzzing with activity and in order to prevent any bottlenecks, we need to expand our senior capacity. 

• Run and manage closed calls for complex evaluations commissioned under Targeted Projects. For each of the programmes we work with, we find and appoint independent evaluators. 

• Expertly manage relationships with key stakeholders. Aside from evaluators, we work closely with other grantees and partners. 

• Represent YEF at governance meetings and other external engagements. We’re passionate about our mission, proud of the work we’re doing to get there, and we’re keen to share this with stakeholders.  

• Provide support and counsel to our team of Senior Evaluation Managers and Evaluation Managers. This team closely manages over 35 efficacy trials, over 20 pilot studies and even more in the earlier stages of evaluation. 

• Tightly manage and quality assure evaluations commissioned under Targeted Projects. YEF has set processes to maintain high standards and rigour. This role will ensure all evaluations adhere to these.

Networks Manager (Parental Leave Cover)

Are you an experienced manager working in cultural administration, with the skills and knowledge to run programmes that connect and support researchers, curators and emerging scholars and professionals? Are you passionate about changing perceptions of British art research? Are you keen to create skill development opportunities and space for researchers to connect? The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art (PMC) is looking for a Networks Manager (Parental Leave Cover) to oversee the delivery of the Centre’s Networks and further develop our offer.

As a research centre and educational charity, PMC aims to generate original, inclusive and creative thinking and scholarship on British art, understood in its most diverse and expansive contexts. We host and support a thriving programme of research events. We publish innovative books and a wide range of digital outputs, including our prize-winning journal British Art Studies. We pursue individual and collaborative research projects. With our grants and fellowships programme, we sustain the most exciting and original work in British art and visual culture. About the Role

PMC is looking for a Networks Manager (Parental Leave Cover) to manage the delivery of the Centre’s Networks and further develop our offer of networking events and skill development programmes.

The PMC’s Networks connect and support researchers who are engaging with British art in its broadest sense, at different stages of their working lives. The networks currently include the Doctoral Researchers Network (DRN), Early Career Researchers Network (ECRN) and the British Art Network (BAN), a subject-specialist network supported by PMC in partnership with Tate. The programming of each network is led by a convenor: annually appointed external convenors in the case of the ECRN and DRN; the Head of Grants, Networks and Learning in the case of BAN. Additionally, the PMC Networks team run programmes and events to support the vocational development of emerging researchers and professionals, currently including the British Art in Motion film competition and the Art Trade Seminar. During 2025 our Networks programme will be developed and refined, with a new consolidated network for emerging researchers. The post-holder will undertake the final planning and implementation of the new network.

Salary will be £44,000.

This post is a fixed-term contract for a minimum period of 10 months, full-time and the hours of work are 35 per week.

Applicants will be expected to work on site at the Paul Mellon Centre, Bedford Square, London WC1 (or remotely as circumstances demand). We are happy to talk about flexible working arrangements offered by the Centre.

Responsibilities

British Art Network

The successful applicant will:

• take an active role in the BAN team, based across Tate and PMC, in overseeing the effective delivery of the Network’s activities
• lead on BAN’s membership and communications, including working with the external web developer in maintaining and developing the dedicated BAN website and preparing and delivering membership-wide mailings
• work with the Convenor to plan and deliver the Curatorial Forum (a global residential programme) overseeing the logistics and administration (including travel and accommodation bookings)
• work with the BAN Coordinator to ensure all BAN activities are accessible and inclusive, in line with BAN’s baseline requirements
• contribute to strategic planning of BAN’s programmes as it enters a new phase of activity at the end of 2025, helping ensure these are in line with BAN’s core values and ambitions, and are aligned with the mission, values and Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) policies of Tate and PMC

Early Career Researchers Network and Doctoral Researchers Network

The successful applicant will:

• manage the effective planning, administration and delivery of DRN and ECRN programmes, working with PMC colleagues and the Network Convenors
• ensure the smooth running of events organised by the Network Convenors, at the PMC and elsewhere, ensuring these comply with EDI policy and align with PMC values
• liaise with the PMC’s digital team and the Communications Manager to coordinate the networks’ presence on the PMC’s website and social media
• oversee the management of both networks’ membership databases and ensure all data held is GDPR compliant, in line with the policies set out by the Data Protection Manager

Networks Development

The successful applicant will:

• work with the Head of Grants, Networks and Learning in planning and implementing a restructured Networks programme in 2025/6, including planning for the next stages of the Art Trade Forum residential programme and British Art in Motion (undergraduate film competition), and contributing to new PMC displays programme as appropriate
• work with the Head of Grants, Networks and Learning and a range of internal and external stakeholders, to finalise plans for and implement a consolidated ECRN for PMC
• plan for and manage any changes required to networks’ membership databases and other membership lists, and ensure all data held is GDPR compliant, in line with the policies set out by the Data Protection Manager
• with the Head of Grants, Networks and Learning, develop and plan professional development programmes for 2025–26
• ensure the effective communication of these changes internally and among stakeholders and members, including updating/revising web content

Person Specification

The successful applicant will have:

• significant experience of leading on the simultaneous delivery of multiple projects, effectively managing workload, stakeholders and team members (including line management)
• in-depth understanding of how networks can engage and support their members, including skill development opportunities, research sharing and events programming
• a collaborative approach to teamworking with a commitment to learning, sharing and adapting, as well as proven ability to work proactively and independently as required
• extensive practical experience in managing budgets in an organisational context, with a keen understanding of administrative processes and relevant software/resources
• experience of working with databases (ideally membership databases) on a significant scale, with an understanding of GDPR obligations
• experience of being a highly effective communicator – in person, in writing and through published online communications
• knowledge and ideally practical experience of marketing and audience development, insofar as these may apply to network activity

Refugee Council is seeking an experienced philanthropy specialist to develop and grow the Refugee Council’s Philanthropy relationships and programme and deliver an ambitious Philanthropy strategy.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of this job is to provide energy efficiency advice and casework-level support to individuals and families living in low-income households and facing fuel poverty. The primary goals of the project are:

1. Raise Awareness & Energy Savings - Educate vulnerable local communities, who may lack prior knowledge, about strategies for reducing energy costs and achieving long-term energy and financial savings. The aim is to empower individuals with practical energy-saving techniques and encourage grassroots peer learning within these communities to help spread survival strategies.

2. Energy Advice & Fuel Debt Support - Offer detailed guidance on energy management, including addressing fuel debt issues, to help clients understand their fuel usage in the context of their overall financial situation. This includes enabling individuals to make informed decisions about energy consumption and related financial matters.

3. Assist Vulnerable Communities in Energy Crisis - Equip particularly vulnerable households with the skills necessary to cope with the growing crisis in household energy debt, as consumption rises sharply. This involves preparing communities to manage their energy usage and finances more effectively in the face of increasing energy costs.

4. Income Maximisation & Benefits Awareness - Help raise awareness about entitlements and assist clients in claiming relevant benefits to maximise family income, ultimately helping them manage energy expenses more sustainably.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Holistic Client Assessment and Support - conduct detailed confidential interviews with clients, applying a holistic approach to assess their needs for advice and support.
2. Compliance and Quality Standards - Provide energy efficiency advice and casework support that adheres to the Advice Quality Standard (AQS).
3. Comply with AQS case management and case recording procedures and processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality advice and casework, and the collection and reporting of statistical data as required to enable accurate evaluation of the impact of the service and reporting to funders.
4. To be responsible for delivering high-quality one-to-one advice and casework on energy efficiency - targeting our food hub participants and other local residents who are on low income. 
5. To raise awareness and assist people without any previous awareness/knowledge of how to save on energy costs and develop long-term energy and monetary savings within their homes.
6. To facilitate and deliver monthly Switching Off Poverty workshops/talks/group sessions about fuel poverty; how to identify at-risk local residents; what tools/assistance is available; and how to impart help and guidance following the end of the programme - these workshops aim to enable participants to access tools and develop the new skills required to help them monitor, track, record, and understand their household fuel use and bills.
7. Provide advice and assistance through a range of channels; Face-To-Face, Telephone, Teams/Zoom, WhatsApp as well as via email/letter.
8. To ensure that the service offered is tailored to the needs of clients and takes into account the particular needs of each individual, including issues around communication, understanding, and vulnerability.
9. Through clear communication and consultation, ensure that clients remain involved in resolving their energy debt, benefit, and money management issues and are kept informed on the progress of their case throughout our work with them.
10. To provide advice and support around energy efficiency and money management; income maximisation; budgeting; saving; debt and understanding and accessing appropriate financial products.
11. To effectively use the database system (Lamplight) to organise and manage client support and to take on issues (as cases) for the client that may have issues with billing and metering problems. Take up complaints and provide grant-assisted schemes. All work is to follow the file LHP’s management procedure. 
12. To be responsible for the delivery of an agreed annual project plan, meeting targets and milestones for the Energy Efficiency advice service.
13. To liaise with other agencies and develop and sustain good working relationships with those agencies.
14. To be responsible for maintaining project files with evidence of project outputs and milestones.
15. Supported by the Advice Services Manager and members of the team, you will collectively develop relationships with other organisations by attending various borough-wide forums and raising awareness.  
16. To be responsible for preparing the quarterly project monitoring report to send out to the funder and ensuring progress against milestones and achievement of agreed targets are being met.
17. To contribute to the monitoring of the project and provide quarterly and annual monitoring data and evaluative reporting to the Services Manager for dissemination to the Funders.
18. To establish and maintain warm relations of trust and cooperation with clients in keeping with the Limehouse Project ethos.
19. To remain alert to issues relating to capacity, client understanding, and safeguarding issues when working with clients and promptly consult with the Advice Services Manager regarding any areas of concern.
20. To respond to clients’ file reviews, take action and follow the key date task diary on the LHP database system.

For a portfolio of clients (for example, Asian Development Bank, World Bank & IFC, Carbon Trust and Dubai Expo City), and projects under the UK Aid funded AT2030 programme cluster ‘Integrate - Strengthen the systems which make inclusion a reality’ (for example, Local production Systems of AT, Designing Inclusive Dignity Kits for Dissemination in Humanitarian Crises and Climate Resilient Cities), GDI Hub’s Research and Delivery Team:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative, primary and secondary research
• Report academic research and grey literature publications with recommendations, blogs and insights reports
• Provide strategic and operational consultancy and technical assistance
• Design and deliver training and workshops, host and present speaker sessions
• Organise knowledge dissemination for high impact
• Track impact and reach of research and delivery

GDI Hub’s Research and Delivery Team have a range of thematic expertise, including inclusive design, accessibility, inclusive infrastructure, inclusive climate resilience and responses, disability and gender, financial inclusion and inclusive private sector practice.

The majority of GDI Hub Research and Delivery Team’s work has a focus in Low or Middle-Income Countries (LMIC).

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience working or academic study in relevant fields (including working closely and collaboratively with disabled people and disabled people’s organisations is desirable), such as international disability inclusion, assistive and accessible technology, accessibility and inclusive design, disability innovation and global health; with willingness to grow expertise across these areas.
• Ideally have some experience (approx. 2-5 years) working on research projects and/or practice-focused research in a related field. This could be as part of further study, research or in a work capacity. Real work experience is desirable.
• A post graduate qualification or equivalent work experience, focused on an area relevant to disability inclusion, accessibility and / or assistive technology.
• Experience and confidence to independently conduct qualitative research and analysis, and literature reviews.
• Experienced in quantitative research and analysis with proficiency in designing and running quantitative data collection via surveys and analysing results to inform statistically representative and robust results. Confidence to independently conduct descriptive and correlational analysis using for e.g., ExCel, Python, R or SPSS.
• Independence in producing clear and insightful infographics and data visualisations.
• Excellent written communication skills, with ability to take on writing of reports using clear and compelling narrative; experience authoring lucid and informative insights and reporting.
• Excellent ability to communicate, work in a small dynamic team, and collaborate with individuals with diverse technical backgrounds and with external stakeholders.
• Confidence in client relationship management for organisation of meetings, email engagements and clients and stakeholder presentations.
• Flexibility and dynamism, to take on a range of tasks supporting multiple projects across the Research and Delivery Portfolio.
• Aptitude for independent and timely delivery management whilst work closely with other members of the GDI Hub team.

As Global Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer, you will support PEAS country level MEL teams in fulfilling their learning objectives in relation to delivering our school improvement technical assistance programme to non-PEAS partner schools. We are excited to be recruiting a Philanthropy Manager to join our Fundraising Team. This is a new role which will be instrumental in setting us up well to grow income from major donors over the coming years. We are looking for an experienced major donor fundraiser, who can bring their skills and expertise to take this strand of fundraising to the next level. The role is being recruited on a fixed term basis, with a possibility to convert it to a permanent post after 12 months, subject to performance.

The Philanthropy Manager will build relationships and secure funding from high-net-worth individuals, working closely with the Director of Philanthropy, CEO, and a newly established fundraising committee to develop this area of fundraising. This will involve developing new events and stewardship opportunities to create engaging experiences for prospective and existing supporters. The post will report into the Director of Philanthropy.

For a large commercially focused charity in London, we're recruiting a Property and Asset Manager for a 6-month contract to manage the performance of their property assets portfolio and ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to all users. The portfolio is a mix of commercial freehold, leasehold and managed service sites in the UK and some internationally. The Property and Asset Manager will report to the Director of Commercial Operations and will lead the management of freehold and leasehold commitments and develop both short-term and long-term property strategies.

Main Duties:

• Manage the performance of the property assets and ensure a high-quality of service delivery for a mix of around 40 properties across its portfolio of commercial freehold, leasehold and managed services sits in the UK and internationally
