Product Marketing Manager

The Talent Set is delighted to be working in partnership with an excellent membership association as they recruit an experienced and proactive Product Marketing Manager to oversee the sales and marketing efforts for their expanding commercial product portfolio. This role involves developing and executing strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets and drive revenue, with regular monitoring and adjustments to plans while effectively leveraging the full marketing mix. The Team

Job Summary

About the Role
PMC is looking for a Networks Manager (Parental Leave Cover) to manage the delivery of the Centre’s Networks and further develop our offer of networking events and skill development programmes.
The PMC’s Networks connect and support researchers who are engaging with British art in its broadest sense, at different stages of their working lives. The networks currently include the Doctoral Researchers Network (DRN), Early Career Researchers Network (ECRN) and the British Art Network (BAN), a subject-specialist network supported by PMC in partnership with Tate. The programming of each network is led by a convenor: annually appointed external convenors in the case of the ECRN and DRN; the Head of Grants, Networks and Learning in the case of BAN. Additionally, the PMC Networks team run programmes and events to support the vocational development of emerging researchers and professionals, currently including the British Art in Motion film competition and the Art Trade Seminar. During 2025 our Networks programme will be developed and refined, with a new consolidated network for emerging researchers. The successful applicant will:
- take an active role in the BAN team, based across Tate and PMC, in overseeing the effective delivery of the Network’s activities
- lead on BAN’s membership and communications, including working with the external web developer in maintaining and developing the dedicated BAN website and preparing and delivering membership-wide mailings
- work with the Convenor to plan and deliver the Curatorial Forum (a global residential programme) overseeing the logistics and administration (including travel and accommodation bookings)

The successful applicant will:
- manage the effective planning, administration and delivery of DRN and ECRN programmes, working with PMC colleagues and the Network Convenors
- ensure the smooth running of events organised by the Network Convenors, at the PMC and elsewhere, ensuring these comply with EDI policy and align with PMC values
- liaise with the PMC’s digital team and the Communications Manager to coordinate the networks’ presence on the PMC’s website and social media

The successful applicant will have:
- significant experience of leading on the simultaneous delivery of multiple projects, effectively managing workload, stakeholders and team members (including line management)
- in-depth understanding of how networks can engage and support their members, including skill development opportunities, research sharing and events programming

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of this job is to provide energy efficiency advice and casework-level support to individuals and families living in low-income households and facing fuel poverty. The primary goals of the project are:
1. Raise Awareness & Energy Savings - Educate vulnerable local communities, who may lack prior knowledge, about strategies for reducing energy costs and achieving long-term energy and financial savings. The aim is to empower individuals with practical energy-saving techniques and encourage grassroots peer learning within these communities to help spread survival strategies.
2. Energy Advice & Fuel Debt Support - Offer detailed guidance on energy management, including addressing fuel debt issues, to help clients understand their fuel usage in the context of their overall financial situation. This includes enabling individuals to make informed decisions about energy consumption and related financial matters.
3. Assist Vulnerable Communities in Energy Crisis - Equip particularly vulnerable households with the skills necessary to cope with the growing crisis in household energy debt, as consumption rises sharply. This involves preparing communities to manage their energy usage and finances more effectively in the face of increasing energy costs.
4. Income Maximisation & Benefits Awareness - Help raise awareness about entitlements and assist clients in claiming relevant benefits to maximise family income, ultimately helping them manage energy expenses more sustainably.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Holistic Client Assessment and Support - conduct detailed confidential interviews with clients, applying a holistic approach to assess their needs for advice and support.
- Compliance and Quality Standards - Provide energy efficiency advice and casework support that adheres to the Advice Quality Standard (AQS).
- Comply with AQS case management and case recording procedures and processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality advice and casework, and the collection and reporting of statistical data as required to enable accurate evaluation of the impact of the service and reporting to funders.
- To be responsible for delivering high-quality one-to-one advice and casework on energy efficiency - targeting our food hub participants and other local residents who are on low income.
- To raise awareness and assist people without any previous awareness/knowledge of how to save on energy costs and develop long-term energy and monetary savings within their homes.
- To facilitate and deliver monthly Switching Off Poverty workshops/talks/group sessions about fuel poverty; how to identify at-risk local residents; what tools/assistance is available; and how to impart help and guidance following the end of the programme - these workshops aim to enable participants to access tools and develop the new skills required to help them monitor, track, record, and understand their household fuel use and bills.
- Provide advice and assistance through a range of channels; Face-To-Face, Telephone, Teams/Zoom, WhatsApp as well as via email/letter.
- To ensure that the service offered is tailored to the needs of clients and takes into account the particular needs of each individual, including issues around communication, understanding, and vulnerability.
- Through clear communication and consultation, ensure that clients remain involved in resolving their energy debt, benefit, and money management issues and are kept informed on the progress of their case throughout our work with them.

Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience working or academic study in relevant fields (including working closely and collaboratively with disabled people and disabled people’s organisations is desirable), such as international disability inclusion, assistive and accessible technology, accessibility and inclusive design, disability innovation and global health; with willingness to grow expertise across these areas.
