Essential

• Proven experience of working in a hands-on Finance Manager role

To ensure our finances are managed efficiently and effectively, enabling us to maximise our impact and deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilties will include:

Working closely with the Co-Director to source new business opportunities by targeting opportunities and  demographics.

Negotiating new contracts with suppliers or customers on behalf of the Eggtooth.

Preparing detailed budgets that improve the cost-efficiency of the organisation.

Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance function. Working with a bookkeeper to ensure accurate financial records are kept, managing payroll, online banking, Xero account and integrations.

To produce relevant, timely management accounts, cashflow  and other financial reports with analysis and commentary to inform decision-making

Deliver, oversee and develop robust financial procedures, controls and systems ensuring compliance and diligent resource management appropriate to a growing not-for-profit organisation with limited resources

Your role

We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. The fundraising leader will develop relationships with potential donors, identify fundraising opportunities, and manage the grant application process.

We seek someone who aligns with the DfG mission, has a passion for fundraising and can strategise and deliver new initiatives. The fundraiser will collaborate with program staff, and senior management to develop leads, compelling proposals and reports. The working environment is informal, team-oriented, and encourages individual input and development. Thereby supporting the execution of DfG’s impact driven program to improve life through design. Key Responsibilities

· Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors, program officers, and key stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact for grant inquiries, reporting, and communications. 

· Research: Identify and explore funding opportunities from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other potential donors whose interests align with our programs. Regularly monitor donor databases and other sources for announcements and opportunities.

· Applications & Fundraising Development: Lead the creation of high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry in collaboration with program staff, ensuring they are compelling, well-structured, and tailored to donor priorities. 

· Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all grants meet donor regulations, reporting requirements, and deadlines. Prepare and submit timely, accurate reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and financial impact.

· Monitoring and Evaluation: Track the success of fundraising efforts, monitor progress toward revenue goals, and use data analysis to identify trends and inform strategy, providing regular updates and insights.

· Events, Networking, and Representation: Organize fundraising events and oversee volunteer and partner teams. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and boost resource mobilization.

•Proven experience of HR business partnering and substantial skills and experience of HR management at a senior level within in a large organisation

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data to inform decision-making.

• A deep understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements within the charity sector.

Animal welfare is in crisis. Could you help us stem the tide of cats and dogs being abandoned or given up for adoption?

If you have experience of working in the community, ideally with young people and marginalised groups, we have a fantastic opportunity to manage and develop our education and outreach work.

The pandemic pet boom, poor breeding practices and the rising cost of living mean that rescue centres, like Bath Cats and Dogs Home, are contending with unprecedented numbers of animals with complex medical and behavioural problems.

But it doesn’t need to be this way. By working in the community, we can address the problems before they reach crisis point.

We believe that every cat and dog should have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy life and a happy home. If pets are wanted and cared for then we’ll help them remain in their loving homes, which is why we’re expanding our outreach services, giving support to struggling pet owners when it is most needed.

The Education and Outreach Manager will work directly with the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to manage existing projects and to shape and develop new initiatives. You’ll work in partnership with education providers, community groups and charities to ensure that Bath Cats and Dogs Home’s expertise and resources are directed to those most in need, and where we’ll have the biggest impact for animal welfare.

The details

Package: £29,700pa + pension and benefits 
Full time: 37.5 hours per week (part-time of 30 hours per week may be considered)
Permanent position, subject to six months’ probation
Reports to: CEO
Hybrid working available, subject to minimum 2 days per week in the office at Bath Cats and Dogs Home, and all in person events and meetings.

SEO Europe was launched in 2021 with its first France programme piloting in 2023. Role Description

Role Purpose
As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of all student-related events. This role involves gaining a comprehensive understanding of SEO London and SEO Europe’s programmes, the relevant industries and integrating this knowledge within our organisation. You will liaise with students and partner firms to organise, execute, and promote successful events. In collaboration with the team, you will provide recommendations for enhancements and innovations to improve the student experience, while upholding a high standard of customer care.
French language is required: we are seeking a professional with a strong work ethic, who is adept at fostering robust working relationships and taking initiative in developing organisational processes. A thorough understanding of the French academic system and a genuine commitment to diversity and social mobility are essential.

If successful, you will sit within the France team of SEO Europe, where you will support the preparation and delivery of multiple impactful and engaging initiatives, such as: 

• SEO Potenti’ELLE Closing event: A celebratory event showcasing inspiring women leaders, introducing the long-term vision for our female leadership programme, Potenti’ELLE, and providing networking opportunities for mentors and mentees.
• France Finance Programme: A 6-month career readiness programme where master’s students benefit from educational Lunch & Learn sessions, industry insight sessions, coaching, soft skills training and access internship opportunities at top investment banks, asset managers and alternative investment funds.
• SEO Europe Finance Academy: A 1-week immersive event taking place in Paris and designed to educate and train students intending to secure summer and off cycle internships and providing them with authentic exposure to top employers while demystifying the industry landscape and application process.
• Student outreach: The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for implementing exciting outreach campaigns, namely, to help us recruit more students from engineering schools and public universities in France
• There will be occasional trips to Paris to deliver in-person events and execute our student outreach strategy

Accountabilities

There are three main activities within the France team:

• Outreach (student recruitment),
• Programme Delivery (education and training events for students),
• Business development (attracting new sponsors)

The Programme Coordinator will serve as the administrative officer for the team. You will support the France team as needed and have specific responsibilities for identifying and onboarding students at business schools, engineering schools and universities across France, both online (social media, email marketing, webinars) and offline (in-person campus events and sponsored events). You will also play a key role in executing our social media strategy and managing our presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Responsibilities include:

• Overall administration of student events, ensuring exceptional communication and coordination.
• Event management, student and partner communication, and coordination of all relevant stakeholders.
• Posting job opportunities on our student portal and creating content for our newsletter.
• Managing student queries and maintaining relationships.
• Coordinating outreach programmes and managing our Student Ambassador network.
• Identifying and onboarding students, managing relationships with academic institutions and partners.
• Maintaining working documents, event calendars, and reports.
• Thinking creatively to improve outreach programmes and manage social media platforms.

Quality Assurance

• Ensuring all information and student data is managed within GDPR guidelines and updated in Salesforce.
• Running reports to track and monitor events from the CRM.

Required qualifications

• University degree (any discipline)

Candidates without the required qualification will be considered if they have at least 1 year of relevant and relatable work experience in a similar role.

The ideal candidate will be committed to tackling racism and reducing inequalities, you will be driven and ambitious, with experience across a range of fundraising methods but must have significant experience in developing Trust and Foundation relationships and evidence of securing 5 and 6 figure partnerships or grants.
