About the role:
As an Administrator (Service Delivery Assistant), you will:
Provide a high quality and responsive administrative function for the service. Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries into the service. Supporting the Head and Deputy Heads of service with general administrative duties such as updating and maintaining database and case management systems and collating data reports.
May also include responsibility for external communication, social media, updating directory records for other services. Updating local websites with relevant information and also taking minutes from team meetings.
You will need:

About the role:
As a Caseworker, you will play a vital role in providing high quality, end-to-end support to victims of crime to cope and recover. You will be responsible for establishing contact with victims to assess the impact of crime and providing appropriate information and support. As the needs and experiences of our clients are wide-ranging, the support you will provide will range from brief interventions over the telephone to longer term 1:1 and telephone based support.
You will be working 7.5 Hours a day between 8am-8pm, as part of a rota covering Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday.
You will need:
You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. The Aspiring Professionals Programme Coordinator (APPC) role will be well-suited to someone who is focused on the best ways they can help the aims of the charity as well as those of our participants and partners. The SMF offers in-person and online support and opportunities, so this role will involve providing virtual and in-person support to students and working with employers across the UK.

1. Achieving Results
- Organising, supporting and delivering skills sessions, partner events, university trips, both in person and virtually across SMF cities and other parts of the UK.
- Coordinating logistics for virtual and in-person events, including content creation, securing venues and speakers, producing webinars and video calls, advertising events, collating attendee lists and compiling feedback/evaluation
- Coordinating logistics of 6F/S5-6 and undergraduate internships, including but not limited to, internship advertising and student selection, liaising with students and employers throughout internship delivery, and compiling student feedback/evaluation
- Collaborating with SMF STAR Support partners to support the young people on our programme in their applications for internships and graduate roles

Your role will be pivotal in securing vital funds for the hospice by developing and maintaining meaningful, positive relationships with grant-making organisations and individual supporters. You will research and apply to appropriate trusts and foundations while leading the identification of new grant opportunities.
Hours of work: This role is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with the very occasional evening or weekend for Events.
