We are looking for a Corporate Performance and Reporting Manager in our Clerk of the Parliament’s Office at the House of Lords. This is an exciting opportunity to use your strong analytical skills and flair for communicating and engaging a range of stakeholders, to drive progress against our strategic objectives and report on our performance.
This is a hybrid working opportunity where you will work on-site at Parliament 3 days per week, with 2 days per week working remotely. You’ll be accountable for –
- Acting as operational lead for the Administration’s approach to corporate performance management, including the implementing and reviewing of the House’s performance management framework.
- Building partnerships with Heads of Office, service leads and others across the House to embed, co-ordinate and continuously improve performance metrics and baseline performance.
- Providing a leading voice in the co-production of the quarterly performance report to the Management Board and Finance Committee.
- Embedding performance measuring and reporting approaches that meet the best functional standards, using a range of management data to provide accessible and actionable insights.
- Working with other colleagues across Parliament to help to ensure that other performance monitoring processes allow for comparison.
- Working with Parliamentary Digital Service, and the House of Commons to develop common practices for Corporate Performance Management across Parliament.

What we’re looking for
- Corporate Performance Management knowledge including relevant experience of corporate performance management and corporate governance processes.
- Strong Analytical Skills including the ability to gather and interpret complex information from a range of sources with differing data quality, visualising data to present the data in a meaningful way to both technical & non-technical audiences.
- Communication Skills such as the ability to find accessible, insightful and creative ways to present data in order to support the production of timely, credible and concise reports through a range of delivery modes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery and continued evolution of the Liverpool Good Food Plan
- Stimulate and encourage the emergence of projects and programmes.
- Oversee the management of contracts and partner relationships.
- Synthesize research, data, lived experience and policy.
- Promote the values and principles of Good Food Plan working.
- Monitor sustainability of the organisation.
- Lead the fundraising strategy.
- Lead the safeguarding policy and processes.
- Oversee the Feeding Liverpool and Good Food Plan communications and social media policies and processes.
- Work alongside an external fundraiser.
- Manage the finances and ensure reporting requirements are met.
We are looking for someone who is a natural leader with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with people from all communities whilst being able to positively influence the city’s strategic leaders. Whilst you may not come directly from a food insecurity background, it is essential you have a thorough understanding of the context in which Feeding Liverpool is working, and a passion and drive to make a positive impact.
Key Details
Salary: £68,000 per annum with generous benefits including 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays, enhanced pension contribution, private medical health insurance, life assurance, and flexible/hybrid working.
Hours: 35 per week over 5 days.
Contract type: This is a full time permanent role. The role is advertised as “full-time”.
Location: Hybrid working with office in central London and options for flexibility to work from home. The postholder will be expected to attend our central London office regularly - minimum of 2/3 days a week.
About the Role
This Legal Manager Group Litigation role will report to the Legal Director with day-to-day responsibility for sourcing,scoping, developing and running Good Law Project’s group litigation cases and projects and for working with the team to build successful campaigns.

What we're looking for

Qualification as a solicitor or barrister in England and Wales (practising or non practising).

Five years experience of working in a legal environment (including training contract or paralegal work).

At least five years group litigation experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Understanding of the economics of group litigation.

Your primary focus will be on recruiting new donors, retention through a gold standard supporter journey and income growth for these vital areas of fundraising, all while leading a dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering innovative and creative appeals as well as supporting the fundraisers responsible for in-memory and donor acquisition to achieve their targets and objectives.
Individual Giving is a growing income stream for Birmingham Hospice, and this have been recognised by the Executive Team who are investing in this area, in particular regular giving and legacies.
