The successful candidate will lead the development, planning and delivery of a sustainable outsourced lottery programe that delivers against income and ROI targets and oversee the management and continuous optimisation of the CRM System (Donorflex) which incorporates all data for fundraising, communications and engagement purposes.

Candidates will have significant experience in customer service, ideally within a not-for-profit or commercial setting. They will also have a sound knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practice, GDPR and gambling commission regulations.

We are seeking an Impact and Evaluation Manager to work closely with our Head of Data and Impact and Senior Data and Impact Officer. A key part of the role will be helping develop further how we evaluate the impact of our programmes. You’ll also be responsible for producing reports for different audiences including external partners and staff members delivering the IntoUniversity programme in our centres, and supporting with the management of our Salesforce database. As part of a small team, you’ll be involved in impact projects and providing key data support from the start.

The main duties of the role

• To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
• To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
• To act as an impact expert for the charity, using data and impact reporting internally and externally to develop IntoUniversity’s strategic goals
• To play a key role in the formal data and impact reporting for the charity including the production of Impact Reports and annual university reports, and ensuring the impact microsite is kept up to date.
• To prepare reports on the performance of the charity, collating data and presenting it in clear formats for a variety of internal and external audiences including: staff delivering the programme; Regional Operations Managers; the charity’s Senior Leadership and Senior Management teams; Trustees; Donors; University partners.
• To develop and maintain expertise in research and evaluation methodologies
• To keep abreast of research and policy developments in relation to the higher education and charity sectors.
• To lead on developing and delivering Impact training for new and existing staff. 
• To support the management of IntoUniversity’s Salesforce database including the maintenance of database records, creation of new features, producing and analysing reports, supporting and training staff in itsuse, and reviewing the effectiveness of the database as a monitoring tool. Salesforce training will be provided.
• To support members of the delivery team with Salesforce queries and requests for data and analysis.
• To represent the charity at relevant conferences and events.

Refugee Council – Philanthropy Manager

Refugee Council is seeking an experienced philanthropy specialist to develop and grow the Refugee Council’s Philanthropy relationships and programme and deliver an ambitious Philanthropy strategy.

This role will be a critical part of the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team and presents an exciting opportunity to grow Refugee Council’s established Philanthropy programme. The team works across all areas of the organisation to improve processes, unlock efficiencies through automation and generate insights from data. They ensure that data is utilised to inform any innovations or refinements to our services.

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial manager with a high level of data literacy. We are looking for someone strategic, highly organised and a strong people and team manager. They will be confident at communicating data in a variety of ways to a large range of audiences, identifying key take-aways and the broader implications of the findings on our clients and programming. They will also be able to train others in key data analysis and communication skills.

 The Ukraine Humanitarian appeal raised £426 million and helped an estimated 6.9 million people in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The Grants Manager is integral in working closely with DEC colleagues and members to build and sustain, a solid understanding of the evolving humanitarian context. The Grants Manager will maintain strong oversight of the DEC funded programme including the reporting cycle, adaptive programming and facilitate strong and relevant engagement with DEC member charities and local partners and external briefings over the duration of the response.

Key responsibilities:

Communication and Collaboration

· Key programmes point of contact regarding the DEC funded programme, responding to enquiries from member charity programmes and other related staff, facilitating timely and accurate communication.

Join the National Portrait's Gallery’s Development team as Fundraising Manager, Grants. You'll work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager to support the delivery of an ambitious and exciting fundraising programme and raise income through grant-giving bodies, including Trusts and Foundations, statutory funders, and corporate foundations.

The postholder will seek to secure critical support for budget-relieving activity taking place across the Gallery, including learning and engagement and exhibitions, as well as support for acquisitions, special projects, and capital works. Key Responsibilities:

• Produce news articles, features, and content for both internal and external publications, as well as digital platforms and communication channels.
• Handle media inquiries, mitigate potential media risks, and issue timely, precise press releases.
• Drive internal communications by developing strategies with senior leadership and compiling monthly PR reports.
• Manage media relations and actively promote the organisation to both consumer media and trade press.
• Collaborate with key staff and partners to design and execute innovative media campaigns.

Person Specification:

• Experience working within a membership organisation and handling health-related communications.
• Extensive experience in a senior PR role, with a proven track record of managing integrated PR and social media campaigns.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, platform management, and online community engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful PR and online campaigns, with an understanding of how PR supports broader marketing strategies.
• Skilled in creating and managing corporate publications, particularly within issue-based communications, ideally in the healthcare sector.
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, with a degree-level education or equivalent experience.

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting Hand in Hand International to recruit 2 new Programme Development Managers, as the organisation looks to increase their impact and support thousands of women on their way out of poverty. These are permanent, full-time positions based in London (Hybrid).

Reporting to the Head of Programmes, Gender and Humanitarian the post holder will identify, prospect and approach new institutional donors, converting them form prospects to secured funds. You will ensure the effective delivery of a portfolio of institutional and corporate grants, making sure projects are achieving key milestones and that day-to-day activities are on track. The Programme Development Manager will provide high quality project information to both internal and external stakeholders, extracting and quality assuring project data relevant for reporting, and making sure all projects are compliant with donor requirements. You will proactively manage relationships with existing donors, developing engagement strategies, sharing key information, and laying groundwork for follow-on funding. Finally, you will lead proposals for new and existing donors, coordinating inputs from Hand in Hand International and network colleagues, drafting technical inputs, and engaging with funders where required.

The ideal candidate will have an innovative approach and a strong track record in fundraising from large institutional donors; trusts and foundations, corporate foundations and governments. The main objective of the role is to identify, prospect and approach new institutional donors, converting them from prospects to secured funds. The role will be roughly 70% fundraising and 30% grant management.

As well as a demonstrable track-record securing large, multi-year grants from different types of funders, you will have experience with their thematic areas: women’s economic empowerment, value chains, livelihoods or enterprise acceleration. Experience working in development projects in Eastern Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe. Experience in Afghanistan would be a plus.

What will I be doing?

What skills will I need?

We are open to your background, this could suit someone who is a corporate relationship manager or account manager, sales executive or business development manager. Whatever your background, you 'll need to be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent networking and relationship manager skills - and the ability to motivate and influence supporters or customers to reach targets.

• Proven ability to generate new ideas, adapt style and approach to meet the needs of different supporters or customers.

• Experience of working as part of a high performing team, achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets

• Experience of working unsupervised with the ability to drive and generate own workload

• A strong solution focused approach to help supporters overcome any challenges and maximise their fundraising efforts.

• Great time management, prioritisation and planning skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (face to face, written and phone)
