Project Manager International Nature
We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate to join a leading Nature programme in this newly created team, supporting emerging international work.

Position: Associate – International Nature

The Role
As a key member of the Institute’s growing nature team, you will be working specifically international nature markets. You will be working on a funded project of work, to support COP15 signatories to understand and implement models and markets that unlock private sector capital into nature restoration and conservation and help them meet their Target 19 commitments. This role will be part of a three-person team within the broader nature team.
You will gain exposure to a range of stakeholders including policy makers, project developers and the private sector across multiple countries. Your responsibilities will include organising stakeholder convening, undertaking research and analysis, developing content, and managing sub-projects autonomously.
Collaboration with industry, government, civil society and academia internationally is a key element of this role and we are looking for team members who will thrive in a dynamic environment where creative thinking, communication and time management skills are essential.
About You
This is an exciting role for someone who has already gained relevant experience within the international development and/or environmental or sustainable finance sectors, looking to continue a career in the emerging area of nature-based investing and natural capital.
The Institute’s nature team is in growth mode and as such this role would suit a versatile project manager who is focused on timely delivery. You are expected to have some stakeholder management skills and strong research and writing skills.
You will be expected to grow your project management and stakeholder management skills and be confident in taking initiatives to manage relationships with potential and existing partners. Ability to co-ordinate multiple projects will be important, and you must be comfortable working in a flexible way. You will grow your expertise in selected areas regarding the content and structure of nature-based revenue models. You will manage one junior role with possibly short-term consultants to oversee from time to time.

About the Role
This role will provide senior marketing leadership to the Acquisition Squad. Working closely with the Head of Acquisition, you will lead the planning and delivery of our effective acquisition programme, to deliver growth in our Individual Giving supporter base and income.
You'll lead the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns. Working collaboratively with our partner agencies, you'll have accountability for delivery across the full range of Individual Giving channels (e.g., DRTV, PPC, Paid Social, Display, Offline, Telemarketing).
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you'll build strong relationships to collaboratively achieve targets, in a fast-moving and dynamic environment. Leveraging agile principles, you'll adapt plans as needed – learning rapidly and responding to change, while keeping our supporters at the heart of everything you do.
In this role, you will:
- Lead marketing planning and delivery as part of a multi-disciplinary team to acquire new supporters – using insight and data to understand our audiences needs and motivations to build long term relationships
- Work with the Head of Acquisition to ensure the Regular Giving and Single Giving income targets are achieved
- Lead on the development of multi-channel marketing plans, with a focus on audience, to drive ambitious targets across supporter acquisition and lead generation campaigns
- Be accountable for the delivery of acquisition marketing across DRTV, PPC, paid social, display, offline channels and telemarketing
- Lead the team's relationship with the media buying agency to buy and optimise media
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with a range of key partners, including telemarketing, production companies and fulfilment agencies, and motivate and inspire these partners to deliver their best for Save the Children
- Work with Head of Acquisition to develop and manage Squad budgets. This includes planning, reporting, and re-forecasting.
- Personally lead the execution of high spend marketing activity, alongside your team
- With Analyst squad members, analyse marketing effectiveness and ensure supporter insight and data analysis play a pivotal role in our marketing. Drive a test and learn approach to improve all of our outputs and ensuring learnings are effectively shared across the department, and recommendations implemented
- Develop a cohesive supporter experience ensuring alignment across all supporter touchpoints, to deepen engagement and drive long term value
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Significant experience in marketing including developing complex and integrated multi-channel marketing plans
- Extensive experience in Individual Giving acquisition programmes, including developing audience led marketing campaigns to acquire new regular giving donors
- Outstanding project management skills and experience with a proven ability to plan and manage activity that delivers complex projects on time and to budget
- Experience of effectively managing external partners, including knowledge and experience of working with media agencies to plan, buy and optimise paid media, creative agencies, telemarketing and fulfilment agencies
- Experience of developing fundraising and / or marketing assets to drive engagement and action
- Experience of developing engaging supporter journeys across channels to deepen engagement with supporters and drive further action

Providing the highest level of stewardship, you’ll ensure existing and new supporters feel valued, inspiring them to make five and six figure gifts, which will significantly improve the lives of men facing prostate cancer and their families. What we want from you

Blue Ventures is a marine conservation organization that puts people first. Our Technical Knowledge team oversees Blue Ventures’ technical pillars (Secure Rights, Community-Based Fisheries Management, Food Security and Financial Inclusion) and supports the use of data for decision making, providing tools, training, and guidance to partners and Blue Ventures’ staff around the world. This individual will oversee the Food Security function, including the development, refinement, and roll out of tools and training to support partners around the world as they establish initiatives targeting fish production, availability and affordability, to promote nutrition, food security and financial returns of fishers through assessments of the nutritional value of key fisheries, sustainable fisheries management, waste reduction initiatives, and interventions that increase the economic and nutritional value, as well as durability, of fish catch. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
GRANT MANAGEMENT & REPORTING
The role will be responsible for the end-to-end grant management cycle for a number of large and / or complex grants from institutional and corporate funders. This includes the following accountabilities:

Work with fundraising and programme teams to manage the smooth running of donor preliminary assessments, start up and close out processes

Support grant monitoring calls working with Programmes, Resources Mobilisation and Operations functions.

Support the development of specific subaward grant processes where appropriate. Manage sub-grants to member and non-member organisations from contracting to reporting, recording, compliance, and managing financial risk as appropriate.

Manage donor financial reporting, set up systems and process to ensure reporting is compliant, timely and accurate.

Compile donor financial reports and payment requests ensuring accuracy with Start Network financial systems and work with finance team to develop a consistent process for reconciliation of donor financial reports.

Location
This role will be employed by Send My Friend to School Steering Group member Results UK, on behalf of the Send My Friend to School coalition, and will be based in Results UK’s office near Waterloo. Hybrid working is in place whereby staff are required to work from the office at least 2 days a week.
Terms & Conditions
This is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent post, with a 3 month probation period. There is likely to be occasional evening and weekend work involved, for which time off in lieu will be received. Holidays are 25 days pro rata per year plus bank holidays. Results UK’s terms and conditions of employment will apply.
Line Management
Although working solely on Send My Friend to School coalition activities the Campaign Manager will be employed as part of the Results UK team. Consequently, they will be formally managed by the Results UK Head of Parliamentary Advocacy in terms of workplace-related and employment issues.
The postholder’s work objectives will be agreed and monitored by the Steering Group and the postholder will report to the Steering Group on work priorities, objectives and outcomes.
Role Description
The purpose of this role is:

Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the Send My Friend to School campaign

Coordinate the Send My Friend to School coalition, engaging the membership, managing the finances and coalition communications, and offering support to the working groups

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the Send My Friend to School campaign

Lead the development of a collaborative campaign strategy on a selected theme under the umbrella of Sustainable Development Goal 4

Develop a campaign narrative based on the selected theme) which our schools audience can readily engage with and be motivated by

Manage the design and production of schools materials and learning resources, including sourcing suppliers, story gathering in conjunction with coalition partners, content production and editing

Oversee the development and promotion of a creative action which is appropriate for a schools audience, is highly innovative and allows for varied levels of engagement and activity: work with coalition colleagues in devising and promoting the campaign through member organisations’ networks and more widely through additional education channels, social media and websites, to ensure mass participation

Manage the development and promotion of the Send My Friend to School website, social media, e-communications to supporters and writing and editing engaging digital communications

Be accountable for the coalitions’ youth work activities (Campaign Champions Programme and Young Ambassadors Network) that are managed by the Campaigns Officer

Coordinate monitoring, evaluation and learning for the campaign
Coordinate the Send My Friend coalition

Manage internal communications for the coalition and undertake engagement work with coalition member representatives to ensure active participation in coalition activities, good information flows, and to help ensure that activities across the coalition are well aligned and strategic

Be the first point of contact for existing and potential coalition members and developing new partnerships, for instance with other campaigning organisations working on education for all

Organise Joint Working Group and Steering Group meetings, ensuring that minutes are written up (by Campaigns Officer) and action points are taken forward

Manage the coalition budget and financial reporting to the Steering Group, and undertake an annual fundraising drive from coalition members

Maintain and update the website with news, publications and relevant content and ensure member lists and email groups are kept up to date

Act as the UK link person with GCE International – the primary point of contact for GCE regionally (Europe and North America) as well as internationally/globally - researching and compiling coalition updates where required, participating in international conference calls, fielding appropriate information to coalition members and collating feedback as necessary

Collaborate with working group members and the APPG secretariat on planning and delivery of activities including policy papers, launch events or meetings with parliamentarians

Support coalition colleagues in gathering and collating inputs on policy documents, meetings, events, campaign plans and activities

Where fundraising opportunities exist engage the coalition to increase and diversify its funding base and enable expansion of the schools campaigning activities

Knowledge and Experience
Essential
Demonstrated skill and effectiveness in building partnerships or coalitions
Proven experience of developing and delivering change campaigning
Complex project management involving multiple stakeholders
Management of budgets and financial reporting
Experience of measuring impact, tracking response and implementing improvements
A good understanding of the UK schools market / working with young people
Knowledge and experience of advocacy and campaigning work
Experience of using website content management systems, email marketing providers and social media
Desirable
Knowledge of global education challenges and debates
An understanding of the rights-based approach to international development
Strategic knowledge of advocacy and influencing.
