The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.
When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.
Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.
Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a Salesforce expert who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in the implementation and ongoing development of Magic Breakfast’s technology and data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead on shaping scalable solutions that will enhance operational efficiency and enable accurate data-driven decision making.
Your expertise will be critical in shaping how the organisation gathers, analyses and utilises data to automate workflows, generate reports and dashboards, and ultimately achieve our strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
System analysis and development

Lead on the development and optimisation of the organisation’s Salesforce environment to meet evolving business needs and enhance operational efficiency

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions

Provide expert advice and guidance to influence and shape solutions that effectively handle data collection, data aggregation, workflow automation, and reports utilising Salesforce

Support the integration of Salesforce with other systems in the organisation’s infrastructure (for example, Business Central, FormAssembly, fundraising platforms etc.)

Contribute to the delivery of business process automation roadmap to support organisational objectives

Gather and analyse information and feedback to support future development phases of the solution.
System administration and user support

Provide support for core services by handling incidents, undertaking investigation, working with colleagues to confirm bugs and providing clear and timely communication with users; triaging points for escalation to the Systems and Data Manager

Create and maintain a comprehensive Salesforce backlog, prioritising enhancements, bug fixes, and feature requests while ensuring effective management of technical debt to maintain system health and scalability

Lead contact for day-to-day relationship with external Salesforce support partner; escalating to the Systems and Data Manager where necessary

Monitoring and governing day to day user activity

Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Corporate Fundraising

Develop, implement, and sustain a dynamic corporate fundraising portfolio, maintaining a well-organised pipeline of funding opportunities.

Attend and contribute to networking events, while actively organising events to foster relationships with new and existing corporate donors.

Purpose
We’re looking for someone who wants to combine their passion for social change with their commitment to digital communications. About the role
The Prospect Development and Donor Insights Manager is a new key position within the Development Office that will lead on strategic, data-driven insights to shape our fundraising strategy and maximise the University’s fundraising potential as we embark on the University’s biggest ever fundraising campaign.
You will manage the overall process of prospect development, including moves management and prospect strategy to support our fundraising campaign. You will provide strategic, data-driven guidance to frontline fundraisers ensuring optimal tracking and engagement of major gift prospect, including individuals, trusts & foundations and corporates, throughout the donor lifecycle. In addition, you will develop and strengthen a sustainable prospect pipeline in support of our fundraising campaign and fundraising priorities of the University.
Who are we looking for?
We seek someone with at least three years’ experience of prospect research and prospect management, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and strategically with individuals and teams at all levels and across functions. We need someone who has experience of writing profiles, prospect identification, media tracking and good understanding of the Data Protection Act. Experience of maintaining and developing a prospect tracking system on a fundraising database and experience of data analysis and data visualisation is also sought.

The main duties of the role
- To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
- To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
- To act as an impact expert for the charity, using data and impact reporting internally and externally to develop IntoUniversity’s strategic goals
- To play a key role in the formal data and impact reporting for the charity including the production of Impact Reports and annual university reports, and ensuring the impact microsite is kept up to date.

We have an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a Senior Legal Advisor to join our Legal Services Team. A small, dedicated team of Lawyers central to the work of Mencap across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We work closely with Mencap’s Teams and Directorates across the organisation to ensure that they operate safely and securely, and providing advice on complex issues.
At Mencap, we offer flexibility about where the role is undertaken. For this role, a presence in Peterborough is preferable where possible, but the individual would be required to attend team meetings in our Peterborough office once a month. Occasionally, it will be necessary to travel nationwide.
The Senior Legal Advisor will provide high quality commercial contracts and documentation, advice and assistance to support all Directorates across Mencap, as part of Mencap’s internal procurement process and Fundraising Teams.
The Senior Legal Advisor will be required to work with different Teams and Directorates across Mencap to draft suitable and robust commercial contracts (including IT contracts); and standard terms and conditions; or review third party’s contracts and terms. Similarly, will be required to negotiate contracts and provide advice for the Fundraising Teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance and radar scanning for changes in law which impacts fundraising.
The Senior Legal Advisor will represent the Legal Services Team on a number of Panels and Committees, such as the Procurement Panel, and would be the lead point of contact with the Legacy Team.
Qualifications:
For this role you would need to be a Solicitor or Barrister qualified to practise in England (or comparable jurisdiction) preferably holding a practising certificate. Previous in-house experience would be viewed positively.
