To date our fundraising has been limited to trusts and grants as well as local authority funding. We’re now looking to expand on this to help us reach and support even more Disabled people and those living with long term health conditions in Surrey.
Purpose of the role
The role will develop our fundraising strategy for the charity and manage Surrey Coalition of Disabled People’s fundraising activity including community grants, individual, corporate and legacy fundraising.
Main responsibilities
The main responsibilities are listed below.
• Work with Senior Leadership Team to develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy
• Research and evaluate new grant funding opportunities, co-ordinate the submission of high quality bids, and manage reporting requirements.

Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey is a county-wide charity supporting people of all ages who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, and deafblind. The post holder will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to prioritise effectively and manage a busy and varied workload. About the Role
This role will play an active part in driving forward our exciting fundraising campaigns, events and community relationships. This involves a wide-range of tasks which will vary day by day, from helping at on-site events to the distribution of marketing materials, and from taking minutes to building good relationships with local supporters (including schools and universities, local groups and businesses, community champions and participants in challenge events).
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for great event experiences and customer service, is proactive and organised, adaptable, collaborative and solutions focussed.

The role:
We’re seeking an engaging, organised and experienced individual to join our fantastic Mass Fundraising team on a 6-month fixed term contract!
This role is integral to the delivery of our ambitious Mass Participation fundraising budget. - You will have Community and events/fundraising process delivery experience including experience of Raisers Edge (preferable), updating data files
