BACKGROUND
The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.
When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.
Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.
Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a Salesforce expert who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in the implementation and ongoing development of Magic Breakfast’s technology and data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead on shaping scalable solutions that will enhance operational efficiency and enable accurate data-driven decision making.
Your expertise will be critical in shaping how the organisation gathers, analyses and utilises data to automate workflows, generate reports and dashboards, and ultimately achieve our strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
System analysis and development

This is an important role within our legacy and journeys team, part of an established and successful individual giving operation. The role:

The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention, is a newly developed role at the DEC, responsible for shaping and delivering new and existing supporter journeys for DEC individual, community and legacy donors, and leading a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the DEC and the public.
The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention will:
- Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies, including the refreshing, implementation and analysis of the DEC’s segmentation, to maximise future income and continually improve the retention of individual supporters for future emergency appeals,

‘I AM Brent’ consortium
Step Up Hub leads a consortium, known as I AM Brent, that consists of six well-respected local charities who are working together to address the root causes and effects of violence affecting young people in the London Borough of Brent.
Programme Description
The programme is part of the Mayor of London’s flagship violence reduction programme, known as MyEnds. It is a place-based violence reduction initiative that adopts a public health approach. The consortium is providing an array of positive opportunities for young people and support for families, including through tailored interventions. The programme also aims to improve statutory and voluntary organisation networks and access to referral, and to ensure the voices of young people and community members are built into provision. The work is focused on the Church Road Estate, Stonebridge Estate, St Raphael’s Estate, Chalkhill Estate and Harlesden Town Centre areas.
The Role of the Programme Manager
The Programme Manager will act as the glue between consortium members and provide a key link with statutory bodies, voluntary organisations, and the community. The Programme Manager will be responsible for supporting consortium members with project deliverables where necessary, optimising the integration of provision, overseeing referrals, and brokering community partnerships. The Programme Manager will also schedule meetings and shared activities, provide secretarial support, and represent Step Up Hub and the consortium at relevant meetings.
In addition, the Programme Manager will:
· be responsible for line management of two other Step Up Hub staff members working on I AM Brent programme deliverables, a Network and Communication Lead and a Community Engagement Lead,
· manage, report on, monitor and evaluate the progress of interventions,
· report to VRU, attend VRU meetings, and cascade relevant information from the VRU to consortium members,
· be responsible for engaging stakeholders and community partners, identifying and leveraging their skills, expertise and assets, and leading on youth and community forums
· help engender an environment of trust and collaboration to support stakeholders and community partners engage positively with Step Up Hub and the consortium,
· manage a grant pot and support the delivery of small projects that are funded from it,
· work to actively promote the consortium and Step Up Hub’s activities, as per the organisational guidelines, through producing publicity materials and written reports for regular newsletters and by keeping the website updated,
· coordinate and monitor project budgets, working alongside the finance officer as required,
· ensure that safeguarding is central to the service delivery and is systemically built into case management processes,
· ensure equality of opportunity is embedded in all service delivery by Step Up Hub and consortium partners,
· provide secretarial services for the project steering group, progress meetings and small grants awarding panel.

About the Role:
You will work with the Senior Management Team to ensure the team can deliver our work to the high standards we set for ourselves. As the RWA delivers its ambitious programme of work the post holder will ensure we are delivering high quality events, prompt and regular engagement with key stakeholders, and rapid and consistent processing of contracts, payments and reporting for donors and suppliers. Duchenne UK is an ambitious, dynamic and impactful charity. Following their sons’ diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), Emily Reuben and Alex Johnson founded Duchenne UK in 2012.
DMD is a devastating progressive condition diagnosed in early childhood which causes all the muscles in the body to gradually weaken. There are currently only very limited treatment options for DMD, so Emily and Alex set up Duchenne UK to change this.
Since 2012, we have raised more than £27 million to end the devastating impact of DMD. We fund ground-breaking scientific research to find effective treatments. We’ve developed the infrastructure of DMD clinical trial delivery in the UK. We engage industry and regulators to accelerate access to treatments. We’re doing it faster too, because this generation of patients can’t wait.

About the role
At a strategic level this role is responsible for leading on all aspects of income, including fundraising, commercial engagement, and new business opportunities, leading the development and delivery of a bold and effective income strategy to support our organisational ambitions and future sustainability.

Income Generation
- Aligned to the organisational strategy, designing and delivering Duchenne UK’s income generation strategy, establishing a delivery plan to hit targets across a diverse range of income streams, including community fundraising, events, trusts and foundations, major donors, research and development grants and commercial income.
- Oversee the process and systems of managing funders and new business opportunities, including overseeing the charity’s CRM system (Salesforce) to support a high end and holistic approach to the account management of funders and stakeholders.
- Set, monitor and deliver annual income and expenditure targets.
- Attend meetings with funders and prospects, and networking events to uncover new opportunities, including management of Duchenne UK’s Development Board.

We’re looking for an excellent communicator who facilitates in a creative, inclusive and dynamic way to develop our newly established Community Benefit Society, joining our small, ambitious team
This position has the significant responsibility of working with members of the BD Collective, an innovative group of VSCE sector organisations, to develop a robust CBS that puts its members in the lead.
Your role will bring together the VCSE sector to find and act on common goals, building a strong CBS that is able to take advantage of the opportunities presented through funding, commissioning and joint delivery opportunities.
You will be joining a small team of 8 people, with a supportive culture, working collaboratively and flexibly.
