CISV International are looking for an experienced administrator to join the Risk Management and Safeguarding team as the Risk Management Support Officer.

The role will focus on supporting the International Risk Management and Safeguarding Lead and the Safeguarding Support Officer to handle the smooth running of the department as well as to help develop the Risk Management provision for our global members.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading on Risk Management administration projects
• Being the gatekeeper for the incident case management system, ensuring all reports and evidence are logged appropriately
• Helping to ensure volunteers comply with training requirements and supporting the development of training resources including online training packages
• Analysing data and statistics to assess seasonal performance of programmes and events
• Using standard Microsoft Office software to produce accurate reports and spreadsheets                               

We are looking for someone who is experienced and enthusiastic about joining an exciting, international organisation. You will need to be sensitive to working with people from different cultures all around the world. An understanding of working with volunteers would also be of benefit. As this role will be part of the Risk Management and Safeguarding team there is sometimes the potential to be dealing with very sensitive material involving safeguarding or child protection issues so you will need to be both resilient and adaptable.

You’ll work closely with our Digital Engagement Officer and will have access to a training budget to help improve your skills.

• Planning and creating content for our social media channels, to support the Trust’s objectives and communication strategies.
• Liaising with staff from across the Trust to understand the scope of our work and ensure that project communication requirements are fulfilled.

Cumbria Wildlife Trust is devoted to the conservation of the wildlife and wild places of Cumbria.

A role for an experienced Property Manager who wants to make a signficant impact yet work less than full time.The postholder will develop, manage and deliver an ongoing property and estate management plan covering both repair, modernization and a preventative maintenance. The plan will cover the Foundation’s listed heritage buildings as well as its wider houses and estate assets. The postholder will play a pivotal role in the future planning for the uses of the whole site.

Role Purpose

The core aspects are:-

• Leading the property team (including 2 person maintenance team and volunteers) to ensure that regular maintenance and specific projects and programmes of work are resourced and delivered

• Managing the maintenance and conservation of the Foundation’s buildings (Care home, Court, almshouses, Old Hall, Temple House, residential properties and barns) and its wider site including the fabric, building services, engineering systems, utilities, equipment, and grounds.

• Monitoring and reporting on budgeted costs, spend and programme delivery; Preparing and proposing budgets

• Delivering a robust and proactive culture to meet statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety, maintenance of listed buildings, contract management, etc ;

Main duties & responsiblities: 

Property

• Oversee maintenance, refurbishment and repair works to all Foundation owned properties;

• Support the development of a property management strategy to maximise income from the properties and an appropriate return on investment; (Note master planners are being engaged),

• Manage the contract with our Estate Management company;

• Ensure that all work is carried out in line with the listing of the buildings concerned and that relevant permissions are obtained;

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, and devise and implement all appropriate policies, risk assessments and procedures

Management

• Manage the Maintenance team, delegating responsibilities, agreeing personal objectives and measuring performance;

• Manage, control and supervise the programmes of conservation, repair, routine maintenance schedules and ongoing refurbishment.

• Ensure that there is a programme of regular maintenance & service of equipment and machinery on the Temple Balsall site.

• Represent the Foundation to expert property contractors and sub contractors.

Financial Management

• Produce, manage and achieve a realistic budget;

• Ensure value for money and high-quality work from contractors and suppliers, through tenders where necessary.

Contractors, Professional Advisors and External Liaison

• Participate in the selection , appointment and continual management of third party contractors, consultants, property agents, etc.

• Manage external contractors operating on site including all contracts, communications, risk assessments, quality and record keeping;

Praxis is a dynamic, award-winning human rights charity. We have 40 years of experience working with migrant communities in London. Our immigration advice service offers support to more than 2,000 people each year. Praxis provides a safe space and support through immigration advice and support to access services such as housing and health. We run peer support groups that build social networks and confidence. Together with people with lived experience, Praxis campaigns for a compassionate and humane immigration system where no one is discriminated against based on their immigration status, race, or class.

Praxis has recently significantly scaled up its campaigns and communications work. We are looking for a new Stories and Media Coordinator to join our Fundraising and Communications team, to help ensure that people with lived experience of the immigration system are the driving force of our dynamic communications work, whilst also building the organisation’s profile and amplifying our systems-change work.

You will play an integral role in the Fundraising and Communications team in an ambitious organisation.  

We are looking for the below skills and experience:

· Strong experience and understanding of working with experts by experience in communications, media and storytelling work, including excellent understanding of safeguarding and risk management;

· Significant experience of developing and maintaining good relationships with a range of journalists;

· A sharp understanding of what makes a strong story;

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;

· Ability to build relationships and rapport with a wide range of people.

As part of the Philanthropy Team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of warm and cold prospects, cultivating new opportunities and playing a critical role in the overall fundraising strategy. You will work alongside senior stakeholders, academics, and clinicians to develop compelling cases for support, ensuring the charity meet ambitious income targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write persuasive, high-quality fundraising proposals for Trusts and Foundations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trustees, influencers, and grant-making bodies.
• Lead complex fundraising projects and collaborate with internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
• Identify new opportunities and manage a dynamic portfolio, ensuring donor engagement and successful stewardship.
• Contribute to long-term planning and decision-making, aligning activities with strategic goals.

About You:

• Proven experience in fundraising or a similar income-generating role, with expertise in proposal writing.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to present and negotiate at all levels.
• Creative and proactive, with a drive to implement new initiatives and deliver successful outcomes.
• Familiarity with fundraising databases, such as Raiser’s Edge, would be an advantage.
