Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with new donor prospects and support the expansion of the Patron Programme.
- Conduct targeted research and outreach efforts to identify and engage new supporters.

Purpose
The Head of Philanthropy, reporting to the Director of Fundraising, is responsible for leading and growing CAP's major donor income, cultivating and stewarding high-value relationships, and building and mentoring a high-performing Philanthropy Team. This includes overseeing the work of the team (including Trusts and Foundations) and playing a crucial role in achieving ambitious fundraising targets and ensuring CAP's long-term financial sustainability.

Our philanthropic fundraising is moving into a new era in Christians Against Poverty. We have recently launched our new strategy and within it state the need to have a more diverse fundraising strategy that draws income from a range of types of sources. A particular area that is highlighted is the need to develop our work in the area of major donors "transitioning to a dedicated team of managing our donor relationships on a day-to-day basis." We have recently been developing our CRM (salesforce), upskilling staff and developing our case for support in order to have a robust foundation on which to build our philanthropy strategy. We are looking for an experienced and charismatic practitioner-leader who will not only lead the team but will role model best practice in philanthropy acquisition and relationship management.
Role
Accountabilities:
Strategic Planning & Fundraising

Lead the development and implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income, with a target of 17.5% of overall revenue within 3 years.

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.

Ensure the execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.

Major Donor Development

Our charity
Campaign Against Antisemitism is the UK’s leading organisation fighting antisemitism, and we continue to break new ground through our litigation.
We have brought private prosecutions, judicial reviews, regulatory complaints, and actions for libel, and we were the complainant in the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s statutory investigation into antisemitism in the Labour Party.
Having established the effectiveness of litigation in forcing action by the authorities and bringing antisemites to justice, we have now decided to increase the number of cases that we bring each year, especially in relation to antisemitism on campuses and online.
The opportunity
As our in-house General Counsel, you will be at the forefront of the fight against antisemitism. You will work to hold antisemites to account and force the authorities to fulfil their duty to protect British Jews.
This role is an important strategic hire for Campaign Against Antisemitism. The charity is committed to this senior management role and has secured long-term funding for it. You will report to the Chief Executive and work closely with our trustees directly.
This is an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate with some of the UK’s most renowned lawyers to change the way that racism is addressed in the UK, gain litigation experience across a broad range of disciplines, and work with major law firms and leading counsel to devise legal strategy.
Experience
You must have at least four years’ experience post-qualification as a solicitor or barrister in at least one of the fields below or with ample experience in litigation and working with senior legal teams:
- Crime, such as communications or public order;
- Regulatory law, such as professional conduct or charity law;
- Administrative law, such as judicial review;
- Defamation; or
- Equality and human rights.
It is fully understood that you will not be an expert in every area of law that our work involves, which is why you will work with our network of pro-bono legal experts and external counsel, who are counted amongst the very best in their professional specialisms. In areas of law that are not your specialism, you will be led by a specialist practitioner.
Nature of the work
The work will involve:
- Bringing private prosecutions against antisemites;
- Challenging the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) when it fails to prosecute antisemitic hate crime;
- Subjecting inadequate decisions by public bodies to judicial review;
- Submitting regulatory complaints and advising regulatory bodies;
- Bringing and defending defamation cases;
- Working with some of the most renowned lawyers in the country who assist us on a pro-bono basis and running our legal network;
- Advising victims of antisemitism;
- Drafting documents including correspondence, internal policies, particulars of claim, and witness statements; and
- Supervising compliance with charity and data protection laws, and assisting with employment and contract questions.
The team
To assist you in your work, you will have the support of:
- A full-time paralegal who reports to you, supporting you in case triage, case progression, drafting, internal compliance and contract management;
- A full-time Casework Manager who reports to you, with extensive experience in criminal casework, case triage, evidence management, and victim support;
- The specialised volunteers within our investigations and enforcement units, who are accustomed to preparing evidence and seeing cases through to their conclusion, often doggedly, over years through multiple appeals;
- Our pro-bono lawyers whose expertise is drawn from the full range of the fields above and who practise at the top of their specialisms;
- Access to legal databases and materials; and
- Operational, communications and administrative support from full-time colleagues working with you in our London office.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Westway Trust as an Adult Learning Tutor - Digital Skills.
Westway Trust is a community-guided organisation located in North Kensington which runs an adult learning programme of accredited and non-accredited provision across a range of subjects. We aim to enable people to progress in work, in learning and in life. Our learners come from a variety of backgrounds and have different prior experiences of learning.
The primary responsibility of the Digital Skills Tutor will be to design and deliver high quality, learner-centred teaching, and learning and assessment experiences to our employed and unemployed adult learners from Entry level to Level 1, while supporting the Adult and Community Learning Manager to achieve the Trust’s strategic objectives.
This is a part-time, term-time only role. The working hours will be discussed and agreed at interview stage.

Programme Management is a multi-specialist team that manages the national logistical and support functions for Frontline’s programmes, ensuring teams are well supported to deliver the programmes effectively and participants and leaders have an excellent experience. The Operations Manager is one of several managers within the team.
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring effective operations, systems, and processes are well designed and implemented across our core programmes such as Approach Social Work and the Consultant Social Worker programme.
With strong project and event management experience, they support the Operations Officer to operationalise the first five weeks of the Approach Social Work programme, known as the Readiness for Practice (RfP) stage. RfP starts in the summer, with five weeks of intensive study that takes place mostly online, but with five days of in-person teaching.
We are seeking a highly organised and strategic operations leader with a strong commitment to excellence in programme delivery. You will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, leading in-person events, and developing efficient systems and processes that enhance quality and impact. With exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, you will confidently engage with senior leaders, delivery teams, and external partners to drive operational success. A proactive problem solver, you will excel in balancing multiple priorities, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless participant support. To support the Programme Finance Manager in running efficient and effective programme financial accounting, programme financial management and programme financial reporting processes in relation to AKF (UK)’s programmes and grants. To provide support to the full life cycle of grants: from donor concept notes/proposals to final reports. To maintain a close working relationship with AKF (UK) finance and programme teams and relevant staff from across the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) agencies and external donors as required.
Programme financial planning, management, and reporting
In close consultation with the programmes/partnerships team:
• Support the design and implementation of effective quality controls to ensure compliance with donor requirements and to maintain appropriate donor stewardship, including through manuals, checklists, templates, and other tools.
• Monitor spending and activity implementation and ensure regular scheduling of grants management meetings, alerting the Programme Finance Manager and Programmes/Partnerships team about significant under or overspend on a timely basis.
• Maintain internal tools that track active grants, cost recoveries and cash balances and ensure they are kept up to date.
• Maintain internal tools tracking pipeline and secured funding (Awards Information Management System -AIMS) and ensure they are kept up to date.
• Prepare financial information for internal reporting purposes, including (but not limited to) the quarterly CEO report, monthly dashboard, and quarterly cash balances (co-finance) report.
Grants management and compliance
• Maintain the grants management tracker so that grants are properly recorded and monitored, ensuring that input from the Programmes/Partnerships team and the Programme Finance Manager are incorporated on a timely basis.
• Undertake administrative tasks related to grants, including setting up of grant codes (pipeline and secured), collecting and forwarding information to different units and executing follow up tasks as required.
• Review budgets for concepts/proposals, ensuring the inclusion of AKF(UK) costs, make recommendations for improvements and liaise with the programme/partnerships team and field units to ensure these are complete, accurate, consistent with the narrative, compliant with donor requirements, and correctly formatted for presentation to donors.
• Support the preparation, review, and submission process for donor financial (and narrative as relevant, e.g. ECHO) reports to ensure compliance with donor requirements; ensure reports are produced on time to a high standard and are consistent with the narrative.
• Ensure timely submission of cash requests as required by donor contracts and internal sub-grant agreements.
• Prepare donor and internal sub-grant agreements with AKDN agencies, field units, and implementing partners, including (but not limited to) those with co-financing.
• Ensure that donor and AKDN rules are being adhered to regarding procurement, accounting, project expenditure, and implementation of activities through regular reporting, engagement with the field, and remote spot checks.
• Carry out monitoring visits and audits on specific projects as necessary.
• Assist in the preparation, support, and follow up of internal or external grant audits and expenditure verifications of AKDN field units, including direct liaison with auditors as required, and ensure that management (programmes and finance) is apprised, including through maintaining and updating the audit and disallowance summary.
• Develop and deliver relevant training and reference material on grants management, including procurement, donor regulations, IATI, finance and reporting for Programme, Finance, and other field-based staff; act as a resource for agencies/field units on donor regulations and compliance.
• Ensure all AKF (UK) direct grants are reflected on the IATI system and update the required information on a quarterly basis.
Audit, internal controls, and risk
• Contribute on programme finance to all audits and statutory compliance in line with UK and AKF/AKDN regulations and compliance requirements.
• In collaboration with field units, prepare due diligence assessments for potential new partners or donors and ensure these are refreshed periodically.
• Troubleshoot financial, donor compliance and procurement-related queries identified through monitoring grants or as raised by management or field units.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations. The role will involve travel to countries in which we operate grants. Normally this could be 2 – 3 trips per year.
Qualifications
• CCAB qualified accountant (desirable).

Role overview
You will lead the effective implementation and ongoing development of our Nature-related Finance programme’s strategy and workplan through effective oversight, management and mentoring across our portfolio of projects.

This is a newly created role at the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth (CDP) as we grow and develop our finance function. As the Management Accountant, you will be joining an established department who have responsibility for managing CDP’s finances and ensuring the financial sustainability of the whole diocese. The successful post-holder will be part of our Diocesan Finance Team reporting to the Head of Finance and will be expected to:

Are you passionate about capturing and sharing learning from projects and programmes and able to analyse and summarise key points from a wealth of information? ISEAL´s Innovations Fund is a central component of our work to catalyse innovations that improve the effectiveness and deepen the impacts of market-based approaches to sustainability. This is an exciting role to work on the development of a learning agenda and value proposition for the Fund, as well as producing relevant communications and learning reports.
First launched in 2016, the Fund supports innovative projects by ISEAL Community Members to help sustainability systems deliver more value to their stakeholders and effectively drive sustainability improvement on the ground, over time, and at scale. The Fund provides grants that enable recipients to develop and test new technologies and approaches, while drawing out cross-project learning to share with the wider sustainability community.
The Associate Manager will work closely with ISEAL colleagues and grantees to improve the ways learning is extracted from the projects, and to produce high-quality learning products. The person in this role will take ownership of the engagement processes necessary to collate and share lessons learnt in a strongly collaborative setting with ISEAL Community Member organisations or other stakeholders. Previous experience with MEL activities, and specifically on project and programme learning is required to be successful in this role.

Implementation of Innovations Fund learning agenda
- Develop and maintain an overall learning agenda for the Fund, and lead Fund and programme team on all aspects of its delivery
- Propose and implement methodologies for capturing learning from grants and for evaluating the effectiveness and impact of the Fund during and after project implementation
- Working with thematic leads, extract and synthesize key lessons and trends across multiple grants and produce reports and other learning outputs to share practical lessons and insights

We offer 25 days of annual leave, to which we will add a day a year after 2 years (to a maximum of 30 days), as well as an extra five days as a one off once you have been with us for a full five years.
We recognise individuals’ preferences when it comes to where and when to work through a hybrid working model with a minimum of 4 days per month in the London office as well as the opportunity to apply for flexible working arrangements to suit individual´s needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join a dynamic, Not-for-Profit organisation. This newly created, full-time role sits within the Marketing and Communications team, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and support business growth.
Key responsibilities of the role:

Ideal candidate profile:

At least 5 year experience working in Marketing.

Experience working in a similar role in the Not-for-Profit sector.
