We are seeking to appoint an experienced full time Money Adviser to meet the ever-growing demand on our service in to these challenging times to deliver debt and welfare benefits advice to our clients both remotely (by phone and email) and in person.

As an experienced debt caseworker, you will be able to guide and empower clients as well as negotiate with creditors on their behalf. You will evaluate the best options and strategies that apply to the client’s debt problem, looking for ways to maximise income while providing budgeting advice. Your expertise in negotiating with bailiffs, landlords and lenders, will be key in preventing possession action for rent and mortgage arrears.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Provide leadership, management and coaching to the Finance team.

• Proactively manage the monthly cash transfer process to facilitate timely and appropriate transfer to Mary’s Meals International.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely production of high-quality monthly Management Accounts.
• Oversee the monthly payroll processes including supply of information to payroll bureaus and authorisation of payment by bureaus.

About you:

• Qualified Accountant, CCAB equivalent.
• Sound and up to date knowledge of UKGAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and UK Charitable Sector reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of general data protection regulations and responsibilities.
• Good demonstrable understanding of the charity sector.
• Experience of managing staff within a Finance department.
• Good computer skills, including familiarity with financial software packages, Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. Knowledge of SAGE50 would be an advantage.

Prospectus is excited to be partnering with a homelessness charity in the search for a Trusts Fundraising Manager to join their Fundraising and Communications Team.

About the role: 

This London based role will strengthen and optimise one of the critical pillars of our strategy, by building strategic relationships with those institutions aligned to solve the same persistent issues that dog agricultural supply chains. We focus on programmatic work that delivers a set of interventions, that in combination, will address the causes that we champion – namely, the reduction of poverty, arresting deforestation, promoting access to services and lastly but crucially addressing Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) in the tea supply chain. 

Key areas of responsibility include:

Following expert consultation, we are now seeking an experienced, solution-focussed Head of Finance and IT to join our Senior Management Team. This role oversees the financial operations and drives the development of our integrated IT strategy, ensuring first-class financial and IT service across the organisation.

Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present complex financial data to diverse audiences to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability.
