Unifrog’s mission
We’re on a mission to level the playing field when it comes to young people finding and applying for their next step after school. We're achieving this by bringing all the available information into one single, impartial, user-friendly platform that helps students to make the best choices, and submit the strongest applications. We also empower teachers and counsellors to manage the progression process effectively.
Our outlook is global - we work with schools and universities all over the world, from the US to New Zealand, and from Italy to Hong Kong. We want to make it so that young people can compare every opportunity taught in English, wherever it is in the world, and have all the support they need to make successful applications.
We have a clear social purpose, and we’re hugely ambitious. We already work with over half of UK secondary schools, and hundreds of international schools. We are growing rapidly in terms of the number of our customers, in terms of how much they use our platform, and in terms of the breadth of products we offer (check out this video to hear more about the Unifrog platform).
Our team is at the heart of our business and is integral to our success. We work hard to foster a culture of openness, happiness and innovation, and we commit to helping every individual learn and grow so that they can reach their full potential. We want to hire talented people, whatever their background. If you are excited by our mission and are ready to work hard, please don’t hesitate to apply. We look forward to hearing from you!
We believe in the power of diversity. If you are from an ethnic minority background, we would like to strongly encourage you to apply.
Employer partnerships at Unifrog
Unifrog provides employers with a comprehensive talent attraction and development offering, with a holistic approach to our partnerships. The Employer Partnerships team brings local and international employers closer to our Unifrog schools, students and teachers. We focus on three key areas:
- Building brand awareness
- Increasing talent attraction and/or diversity of hires for apprenticeship opportunities
- Supporting corporate social responsibility
This allows employers to centralise their engagement with the future workforce via one partnership.
This is the newest element of the Unifrog team and since starting work with employers in March 2022, we’re now partnered with over 110 organisations from across all sectors and industries to support them with their talent attraction and brand awareness.
We’re increasing growth through providing unique tailored partnerships for employers; from partnerships that centre around a virtual course to support students in developing their skills (while increasing brand awareness), to partnering with Unifrog schools in areas of high levels of disadvantage via our school sponsorship programme, which brings outstanding careers guidance and networking opportunities with employers and universities to the students, schools and parents/carers who need it most.

Applications for this role close at 9 a.m. Monday 10th March 2025.
Who we are
Portsmouth Cathedral, known as the Cathedral of the Sea, has been a beacon of faith, community and heritage for over 800 years. From its humble beginnings in 1180 as a chapel dedicated to St. Thomas Becket, it has grown into a vibrant centre of worship and civic life, becoming a Cathedral in 1927.
Renowned for its exceptional music, Portsmouth Cathedral has a strong choral tradition, offering a wide range of musical performances and supporting the development of young musicians. Music is at the heart of its worship and cultural offerings, inspiring all who visit.
In addition to its spiritual mission, the Cathedral plays a vital role in the city, hosting services for the Royal Navy, local charities, schools, and the wider community — alongside educational workshops, concerts, art exhibitions and an increasingly wide range of events and commercial activities. Portsmouth Cathedral continues to be a symbol of hope, connection, and inspiration.
About the role
As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be a key member of the Cathedral leadership team, reporting to the Dean and being accountable to the Chapter – as well as representing the Cathedral to Diocesan and Civic communities.

You will lead the operations team in developing and implementing strategy and policy, ensuring effective governance and management of the Cathedral’s practical business and mission.

- Strengthen visitor engagement, heritage presentation, and commercial activities.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with ecclesiastical, charity, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain robust risk management, safeguarding, and health and safety practices.
- As COO, you will be the designated member of the Cathedral staff serving as the overall licensee.
This is a perfect role for a collaborative leader eager to guide the Cathedral’s operational success and contribute to its future as a place of worship, community, and historic significance.

About More in Common
More in Common is a research agency working across the US, UK, Germany, France and Poland to tackle polarisation and division. More in Common leads and supports initiatives to build more united, inclusive, and resilient societies. Our mission is to understand the forces driving us apart, help societies find common ground and bring people together to tackle shared challenges.
In the UK, our work is best described as being part consultancy and part think tank. We provide a full suite of research services including polling and focus group research; evidence reviews and secondary data analysis; audience mapping and audience strategy; strategic communications strategy and campaign development. More in Common is a member of the British Polling Council.
Our work is informed by our ground-breaking segmentation of the British public. This unique values-based lens to our quantitative and qualitative research means we can understand not only what the public thinks about the big challenges facing British society today but - crucially - why they think it. Our insights help leaders in government, the media, business and civil society to develop better strategies and communications – particularly in reaching disengaged communities far from the Westminster/London bubble – and to better navigate tricky and divisive issues.
More in Common has published agenda-setting thought leadership on a whole range of debates facing British society, including exploring the public’s starting points on climate action and tackling crime and anti-social behaviour; understanding how the British public is navigating major debates from trans and gender identity to the conflict in Israel and Palestine to assisted dying; highlighting the public’s expectations on mental health reform and what’s next for the levelling up agenda. Our work is regularly covered in the British press and media and we’ve developed a series of partnerships with broadcasters and newspapers to deliver top-quality research insights. In the 2024 General Election period, we were among Britain’s most accurate pollsters and used our focus group research to put people and public opinion at the centre of coverage of the election campaign.
Through our consultancy, More in Common has also supported dozens of partners with insights and strategic communications support. We’ve helped national institutions such as the BBC, British Library and National Trust to better understand their audiences, we’ve helped partners in government and civil society with the set-up and delivery of the Homes for Ukraine scheme, and we’ve supported a range of partners to test their manifesto ideas from the National Farmers Union to Rethink Mental Illness among many others.
In 2025, More in Common has a range of exciting projects in the pipeline, including:
- Refreshing our core values model with a deeper understanding of the attitudes and worldviews that shape the most important divides in Britain in 2025
- Supporting the aid sector to deliver more effective messages to reach beyond their highly engaged activist base
- Working with video game designers to develop strategic interventions with low-trust groups to tackle disinformation
- Developing new strategies to talk about men’s health issues in ways that avoid culture war traps
- Expanding our international research offer
- Working with national institutions to help them better understand their audiences and users
- Working with with leading transport authorities and think tanks to help navigate backlash against active transport and public transport initiatives
Diversity + Equity + Inclusion
We will have a better chance of uniting divided societies if our team reflects a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds, beliefs, political opinions and life experiences. We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented and minority communities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Trusts Officer to join our Fundraising Team!
About the role
The key purpose of the role is to lead in generating income from Trusts and Foundations for Freedom from Torture's support to survivors of torture, across our clinical work, policy and campaigning priorities: raising income from small, medium and high Trust funders in the UK and internationally by managing a portfolio of funding relationships and working with colleagues across Freedom from Torture to scope and realise funding opportunities.
You will be experienced and confident in the preparation of concept notes, proposals, and donor reports, and able to review project budgets and financial reports.
You will be part of a committed team of four in the Trusts and Grants team, and work closely with the Trusts and Grants Manager to help implement the fundraising strategy by building strong external relationships with donors and identifying new funding opportunities to deliver on income targets. The Trusts and Grants Team sits within the Philanthropy & Partnership Team in Freedom from Torture's friendly, creative and ambitious Fundraising & Communications Directorate.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have demonstrable experience of a trust fundraising and writing role in the UK charity sector, with the ability to develop and implement a plan of work to meet or exceed income targets. You will be skilled in researching new funding prospects, and have experience of managing donor funded grants including reviewing financial information, preparing donor reports and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. You will have exceptional writing skills with the ability to target different audiences and tailor your output accordingly, and excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment and to tight deadlines.
In return, we offer a competitive package, with a generous 30-day annual leave entitlement, and 6% employer pension contribution (minimum 1% employee contribution).
