About the role
We are looking to recruit a female Project Worker for our diverse team at the Chrysalis Project in South London. Reporting to the Deputy Manager you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to clients to manage their tenancies and access independence.
As the post-holder, you will be working in our Women only Palace Road location, to maintain an environment of support for women with complex needs.
In this role you will:
- Support clients to liaise with external services like GP, substance misuse teams, mental health teams, social services.
- Support with all necessary skills to enable an individual to move on to more independent accommodation,
- Work shifts which are normally 8am - 8:30pm. You will also be expected to work some weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Carry a caseload of clients and be their lead worker.
About you
You will be able to liaise effectively with external agencies, have clear communication skills, a non-judgemental approach, and a good working knowledge of homeless clients and the challenges they face.
The successful candidate does not have to have direct experience in a similar environment. We are seeking a candidate who is willing to learn and who has a strong understanding of the needs of homeless and vulnerable people, especially those with complex needs. Dedication, personal resilience and a relationship based, non-judgemental approach is essential.

Headway East London is a charity supporting people living with brain injury. Working across 13 London boroughs we offer specialist support and services for survivors and their families. We offer therapies, advocacy, family support and community support work alongside our day service: a community venue where people can make the most of their abilities and interests.
About the Role
As Occupational Therapist you will provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment to survivors of acquired brain injury (ABI) who have been referred to the Headway East London services, as part of the Day Service in Haggerston or the Enfield community service. You will focus primarily on activity and participation issues. You will also provide advice, recommendations and training to Headway staff or external organisations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Please refer to job describtion for more information)
- Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessment, treatment and evaluation of progress with individuals with complex neurological presentations as an autonomous practitioner, including the assessment of neurological impairment (including cognition, perception, upper limb impairment, and fatigue) as well as activity limitations and participation restrictions, using evidence-based tools and outcome measures, to ensure effective intervention.
- Negotiate goal-directed intervention with individuals and / or carers to establish a realistic person-centred treatment programme, and promote an individual’s choice and autonomy.
- Contribute to the development of, and run, a range of therapeutic groups offered at Headway and in Enfield to ensure they continue to meet the needs of members with support from the Technical Instructor and Therapy Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation for all of caseload and provide written reports for external professionals such as GPs and case managers to meet professional and organisational demands.
- Assess and determine the need for assistive technology and / or adaptive environments to enhance an individual’s independence; making recommendations to individuals / carers and other staff / professionals, trialing and training individuals and carers in their use agencies to ensure the delivery of a co-ordinated service.

About this vital role
Our Pantry project will support and engage with individuals and families providing them with positive empowering support to address issues such as wellbeing, housing, debt, and employment. People using the Pantry pay a weekly subscription and, in return, are able to access an abundance of affordable, nutritious food and added support.
The Pantry Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day running of the Pantry, including carrying out and complying with all health and safety procedures and policies, ensuring stock is stored and managed in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations and providing nutritional and meal planning support and where needed healthy eating plans.
As well as supporting, managing and working alongside a team of volunteers, you will also positively support clients with a range of practical issues, including benefits and debt advice and wellbeing, provide emotional support around areas such confidence building and developing resilience, plus develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies. Managing the completion of all new client inductions, including Initial Needs Assessments, Risk Assessments and Action Plans, and promoting the service within the local community, arranging promotional events as needed, are also key duties.
What we are looking for
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene and Advice and Guidance Level 3 qualification
- Knowledge of food storage and hygiene best practices, including stock rotation principles
- An understanding of variety of cooking techniques and the ability to advise others on how to cook on a budget
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Work constructively with colleagues to achieve project targets and respond to requests
- Strong IT, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A flexible, professional and collaborative approach to your work.

The St Mungo’s Pan London Rough Sleeping Team (No Second Night Out) provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough, our work is ongoing and we are currently looking for people to join our services across London.
As an Assessment and Reconnection Worker, you will:

Be part of a busy team environment working closely with people new to, or at risk of rough sleeping.

Provide a personalised case management service to clients, turning assessment recommendations into practical action plans which fully involves the client.

Build and maintain effective relationships to support clients throughout their recovery.

Develop a knowledge of relevant legislation such as, welfare benefit and housing legislation.

Work on a weekly rota including early, mid and late shifts (some evening and weekend work may be required).

About this exciting opportunity
This multi-faceted role will see our successful candidate support the Management Team with recruitment campaigns and the central HR colleagues with our safer recruitment processes. You will also help to coordinate new starter training and provide administrative support to the Management Team in ensuring employee risk assessments are carried out annually and recorded appropriately.
We will count on you to ensure invoices, expenses and all contracts are submitted to finance in a timely manner and act as the point of contact for all local finance-related queries, while you will also fulfil a broad range of GDPR duties, such as developing, administering and coordinating the local data protection database and monitoring and reviewing new project set ups. The Director of Finance role presents an exciting opportunity to manage and create a finance team that will support the Anglican Communion, whilst also being a key member of the senior management team. You will lead and direct the Anglican Communion’s financial strategy and management, ensure commercial planning, delivery and evaluation in all areas of ACO activity, whilst also providing financial management and administration for two related charities: the Anglican Alliance and the Anglican Centre in Rome.

The role:
- Lead on the development and execution of financial strategy, financial planning, budgeting and cost control for the ACO and related charities.
- Key advisor to the Secretary General, management team and trustees on the overall financial landscape for the ACO and its on-going performance and position.
- Manage and continuously improve the efficient running of financial operations including the preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts, payroll, tax returns, and management of creditors and debtors.
- Ensure that an adequate control framework exists.
- Manage and continuously improve financial reporting ensuring accurate, timely and appropriate information for colleagues.
- Manage budgeting and planning processes, providing all appropriate financial data, and supporting budget-holding staff in all areas.
- Support funding applications and subsequent donor reporting to grant making bodies with project and programme budgeting.
- Manage the preparation of statutory accounts and be the main contact with external auditors.
- Be vigilant to financial and operational risks and to report and mitigate such risks.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally, understanding and knowledge of the UK charity finance environment.
- Experience in budgeting and cost control, including provision of reports and analysis to an audience with different levels of financial literacy.
- Strong financial leadership skills capable of directing financial strategy and delivering highest quality financial management.
- Experience in working with diverse stakeholders both within and outside an organisation
- Experience in managing and motivating teams.
- Experience of upgrading control processes and implementing change.
- A full finance qualification, or the ability to prove they are qualitied by experience.
- The willingness to travel throughout the Anglican Communion.
