We are looking for someone to join our team supporting Unpaid Carers in Lewisham in a part-time admin role based at our Carers Hub at Glass Mill Leisure Centre. Our activities programme offers Unpaid Carers the opportunity to have a break from their caring responsibilities in a social environment where they can meet other carers and focus on their wellbeing.
You’ll work closely with the service manager to plan and arrange a wide programme of activities for young and adult Unpaid Carers. This will involve liaising with providers, ensuring health and safety, insurance and other checks are in place, arranging resources and refreshments, completing risk assessments and booking venues.
You will promote activities to Unpaid Carers, manage bookings and respond to queries. As the role is based in our Carers Hub, you will interact with Unpaid Carers visiting the team or enquiring about the service. You will also provide additional admin support to the team as needed.
Applicants should have experience in an admin role and excellent customer service skills. You will require exceptional communication, organisational and written skills, and should be a proactive and creative thinker. We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. Purpose of the Job:
This role is within our crisis alternative service – Safe Space - which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service operates 365 days a year from 12:00pm(midday)-11:30pm across all of our boroughs. The shift pattern for this role is 4:30-11:30pm. This will be on a rota basis across support workers.
Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis. This will consist of 1:1 support; de-escalating and providing interventions, signposting for specialised or longer-term support, and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The aim of this service is to de-escalate and prevent further crises.
The objectives of the service include:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in HFEH.
- To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation, planned wellbeing activities etc.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
- To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation

The grants will be broad in range from smaller, single year grants under the School Holiday Activity Fund to multi-year, large grants within the Open Grants Programme. The role holder will work closely with other members of the Grants Team, including the Directors, to support learning, develop special initiatives and contribute to the creation of policy and processes. The role will suit someone with previous grant-making experience who is seeking to develop their expertise in place-based grant-making and/or the CYP sector. Given the nature of the existing portfolio, experience of working with cultural organisations and education settings would be a particular benefit.

Harington is an Ofsted regulated specialist college based in north London. In June 2024 we were judged as Good by Ofsted. We work with young people with learning differences aged 16-25. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes that lead to vocational qualifications and other aims, including gardening, retail, English, maths, employability and independent living. We also deliver a supported internship programme.
Our charity's learning centres in Highgate and Hornsey alongside our charity's gardening business and two charity shops, provide a unique opportunity for students to practically apply their learning on work experience placements. We are seeking an Impact and Evaluation Manager to work closely with our Head of Data and Impact and Senior Data and Impact Officer. A key part of the role will be helping develop further how we evaluate the impact of our programmes. You’ll also be responsible for producing reports for different audiences including external partners and staff members delivering the IntoUniversity programme in our centres, and supporting with the management of our Salesforce database. As part of a small team, you’ll be involved in impact projects and providing key data support from the start.

The main duties of the role
- To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
- To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
- To act as an impact expert for the charity, using data and impact reporting internally and externally to develop IntoUniversity’s strategic goals
- To play a key role in the formal data and impact reporting for the charity including the production of Impact Reports and annual university reports, and ensuring the impact microsite is kept up to date.
- To prepare reports on the performance of the charity, collating data and presenting it in clear formats for a variety of internal and external audiences including: staff delivering the programme; Regional Operations Managers; the charity’s Senior Leadership and Senior Management teams; Trustees; Donors; University partners.
- To develop and maintain expertise in research and evaluation methodologies
- To keep abreast of research and policy developments in relation to the higher education and charity sectors.
- To lead on developing and delivering Impact training for new and existing staff.
- To support the management of IntoUniversity’s Salesforce database including the maintenance of database records, creation of new features, producing and analysing reports, supporting and training staff in itsuse, and reviewing the effectiveness of the database as a monitoring tool. Salesforce training will be provided.
- To support members of the delivery team with Salesforce queries and requests for data and analysis.
- To represent the charity at relevant conferences and events.

About the role
We are now looking for looking for an experienced and dynamic Housing Caseworker (Young People) to join our highly successful Advice Casework Service.
The Advice Casework Service provides trauma-informed, intersectional, woman-centred, rights and strengths-based advocacy and advice that supports survivors on their unique journey of healing and growth. The work is delivered through a commitment to an anti-oppressive, feminist framework that strives to address additional barriers and meet the diverse range of survivors needs, understanding the specific support needs of each survivor. We are passionate about social justice and being part of dismantling systems and structures which oppress survivors, and Caseworkers play a key role in identifying current issues affecting survivors in London and opportunities for change.
As a Caseworker you will work with young women (18-30) who have experienced any form of violence against women and girls (VAWG), providing medium and long-term practical, emotional and advocacy support. You will amplify young women’s voices and create a non-judgemental and creative space where survivors are free to be their authentic selves, safely explore their rights, options and impact of their experiences, and make informed choices about their future. You will manage a caseload of young women, as well as lead in delivering our one-off drop-in specialist practical support to sessions to young women as part of the Voice and Choice Project.
About you
The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing specialist advocacy support to young people, have an excellent insight into the needs of survivors of VAWG and to be passionate about delivering creative face-to-face sessions to young people. The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity. They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team.
