CISV International are looking for an experienced administrator to join the Risk Management and Safeguarding team as the Risk Management Support Officer.

The role will focus on supporting the International Risk Management and Safeguarding Lead and the Safeguarding Support Officer to handle the smooth running of the department as well as to help develop the Risk Management provision for our global members.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading on Risk Management administration projects
• Being the gatekeeper for the incident case management system, ensuring all reports and evidence are logged appropriately
• Helping to ensure volunteers comply with training requirements and supporting the development of training resources including online training packages
• Analysing data and statistics to assess seasonal performance of programmes and events
• Using standard Microsoft Office software to produce accurate reports and spreadsheets                               

We are looking for someone who is experienced and enthusiastic about joining an exciting, international organisation. You will need to be sensitive to working with people from different cultures all around the world. An understanding of working with volunteers would also be of benefit. As this role will be part of the Risk Management and Safeguarding team there is sometimes the potential to be dealing with very sensitive material involving safeguarding or child protection issues so you will need to be both resilient and adaptable.

The role:

This key role in the Trust’s staff team will be reporting to the Head of Finance & Resources. The postholder will provide practical, administrative, project-management and communications support to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. General Statement of Duties

The St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital has a loyal donor base, and we are now able to grow the major donor portfolio significantly to build our long-term sustainable income.  The Grants & Partnerships Officer will lead on delivering a best-practice grant-giving programme as part of a wider major donor programme.

Alongside the Executive Head of the UK Office, the Grants & Partnerships Officer will develop new major donors prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies as part of a wider fundraising strategy.

This is a key role within a small and dedicated team.  The successful candidate will have a professional, ambitious, solutions-based approach with a track record of fundraising success. They will be ready for and excited by the challenge of building up a major donor programme.

Main Responsibilities

To deliver a successful grant-giving programme and devise and deliver new prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to meet agreed targets, including:

· Establishing and managing strong relationships with past, current and prospective grant-giving organisations, delivering the highest possible levels of care and attention.

· Understanding all prospective and current donor profiles, and their motivations and communication styles.  Formulating personalised cultivation and stewardship plans.

· Set up and maintain regular communications with all grant-giving donors and prospects, tailoring this as required to strengthen their relationship with us.

Person Specification

Essential:

· Educated to degree level or equivalent career experience.

· Minimum of 3-years’ fundraising experience with a demonstrable track record of developing stakeholder and donor relationships with a responsibility for securing a minimum of six-figure gifts from grant-making bodies.

· Experience of working with high-value Trusts & Foundations.

· An exceptional and eloquent communicator, both written and verbal communications skills, and a natural relationship builder, you will have solid experience of presenting, negotiating, networking, and influencing.

BACKGROUND

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support survivors of torture, trafficking and other extreme human cruelty. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world.

Through the Model of Integrated Care, HBF offers survivors access to an individually tailored programme of specialist therapy, medical advisory services, legal protection including providing expert medico-legal documentation as part of the MLR Service, welfare and housing support, and creative and skills activities within an integration programme. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

HBF is seeking an experienced and dynamic lawyer for an interim period to give direction to the Legal Protection, Medico-Legal and Client Services of the Foundation. This role is crucial for advancing the rights and protection of our clients, many of whom are vulnerable individuals seeking asylum or are survivors of trafficking. We do not provide legal representation directly to our clients, instead we act as a support team to our clients and their legal representation by providing second tier advice.  The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure the highest standards of legal protection, and contribute to the overall mission of the Foundation including developing relationships that promote HBF’s expertise and reputation. This role requires exceptional people management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team, foster collaboration, and articulate complex legal issues clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Association is now looking to appoint a Policy Manager to develop, manage and lead the ADPH Policy Programme, working across sectors and professions to build relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have experience in Public Health policy and practice, working with our Advisory Groups to develop consistent policy lines based on our members views, and supporting the  Head of Projects Policy and Practice in production of the ADPH Policy Strategy.

Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills are required to lead and manage cross team projects and line manage, support and develop the Policy Coordinator.

Leukaemia UK – Our Charity

 We are a ‘small but mighty’ charity with one big ambition: to stop leukaemia devastating lives. Over the next 10 years we want to help save and improve the lives of more people with leukaemia through finding and funding life-changing research.

Despite progress in recent decades, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer every 16 minutes and survival rates are among some of the worst of any cancer.  And the physical and psychological impact can be lifelong. 

Over the next 5 years we plan to increase our investment into ground-breaking world class research and policy development focused on improving access to kinder, more effective diagnosis, treatment and care for leukaemia and other blood cancers. We are looking for a Governance & Operations Manager to join our small but nimble team to support our governance activities, and manage facilities, health & safety and IT at our small Central London office.

Leukaemia UK and You 

This is a new part-time role combining operational management of our small office based in Central London, with supporting and developing the governance activities of an ambitious and growing charity.

Hands-on experience managing the operations of small to medium sized organisations is essential, particularly facilities and office management, health and safety, and IT (working with an outsourced IT Support provider).

You will support the CEO and Director of Finance & Resources with governance activities including preparing for and running board and sub-committee meetings. You will need to be a confident minute-taker with a good eye for detail, and have experience in collating high-quality board paper packs.

You will have an appetite to innovate and drive continuous improvement across your areas of responsibility, and as the only role on the team covering these functions, must love being hands-on and getting stuck in. In return, you will gain experience working closely with trustees and the leadership team, and gain understanding and insight into all aspects of running an ambitious and growing charity. 

Skills and Experience

• Substantial experience of office and facilities management
• Understanding of health & safety and risk assessment
• Experience of servicing boards and committees, including preparing agendas, collating and disseminating papers, and taking minutes
• Understanding of charity regulation and the charity commission
• Self-starter, able to work independently and use initiative to solve problems
• Independent learner, keen to find and apply best-practise solutions
• Strong team player, able to establish productive relationships with multiple colleagues and stakeholders
• Willing to get stuck-in and be hands-on
• Strong IT and tech skills, including Office 365 and SharePoint
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop new approaches
• Experience managing outsourced service providers
• Discrete and trustworthy, able to keep information confidential and retain a neutral and independent stance amongst colleagues
• Willing to be on site at least one day per week, and in response to emergencies

• Part time 22.5 hours-30 hours per week (0.6-0.8 FTE), worked over 4 or 5 days Monday to Friday, between 9-5:30

BCYP is seeking a seasoned Communications and Marketing Officer who will design and implement a strategy to boost BCYP’s brand and support the efforts of clinicians and researchers’ projects. The candidate will also support the fundraising team through grassroots event management and the adoption of a small portfolio of donors.
