As Project Worker Complex Needs, you will work creatively and collaboratively with adults who have experience of homelessness and/or Rough Sleeping. You will provide an effective high quality support service in an accommodation setting, working with clients facing Multiple Disadvantage, and living with complex needs.
About the role:
SHP’s aim is to improve outcomes for service users both within the service and by enhancing their ability to utilise external specialist, statutory and community services.
The support you provide will ensure that clients are able to:
- Access and sustain their accommodation within our services
- Access and feel safe in engaging with specialist support in relation to their needs (i.e., substance use, health, mental health, complex trauma, offending, street activity}
- Access primary health care, and improving their wellbeing and process of recovery.

You will be part of a dynamic team in a hostel setting, holding a caseload of clients with the opportunity to draw on specialist roles within the team, the organisation more broadly, and working in tandem with specialist external agencies. Your ability to forge meaningful relationships will provide the basis of the work to empower your clients, helping them to engage with a range of community resources and build a robust network of support.
About you:
- Ability to maintain motivation for a high level of contact with clients on a day-to-day basis.
- A non-judgemental approach to working with multi-disadvantaged / complex needs clients and to promote a strengths-based approach.
- Familiarity with IT applications and basic keyboard skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and manage own administrative tasks.

Employment Details
Contract type
This contracted post is fixed term until March 2025 with the possibility of extension and is 35 hours per week. We welcome application for flexible working including reduced hours and other flexible working arrangements.

The post holder will be mostly based across East London.
Salary
Between £28,840 and £31,930 Plus 5% employer pension contribution.
We have recently introduced a salary bands system. This salary range refers to the lowest and top steps of the grade. Salary will progress every year until the top salary is reached.
Holiday entitlement
25 days (pro-rata for contracted hours) of paid holiday per year plus bank holidays. This increases after two years of service to 27 days, and then a further one day per every year of service up to a maximum of 30 days after five years of service. We have an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a Senior Legal Advisor to join our Legal Services Team. A small, dedicated team of Lawyers central to the work of a national charity across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They work closely with the Teams and Directorates across the organisation to ensure that they operate safely and securely, and providing advice on complex issues.
The charity offers flexibility about where the role is undertaken. For this role, a presence in Peterborough is preferable where possible, but the individual would be required to attend team meetings in the Peterborough office once a month. Occasionally, it will be necessary to travel nationwide.
The Senior Legal Advisor will provide high quality commercial contract drafting; advice and assistance to support the Personal Support (PS) Service Teams with the tendering and contracting process; working with different Commissioning Authorities of Social Care Services; and with the provision of suitable housing agreements
The Senior Legal Advisor will be required to review the tenders and contract terms in relation to the majority of PS contracts , some of which are multi million pound framework agreements, and put in place Direct Funding Contracts. In relation to Housing arrangements, the candidate will review and advise on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Housing Management Agreements (HMAs) with Housing Associations and other Housing Providers.
Qualifications required:
For this role you would need to be a Solicitor or Barrister qualified to practise in England (or comparable jurisdiction) preferably holding a practising certificate. Previous in-house experience would be viewed positively.

· 5+ years PQE and experience in commercial contract law,
