This is a truly exciting time to be joining Fauna & Flora’s Fundraising Team. Over the past three years we have established a fundraising programme that is going from strength to strength. More people than ever are choosing to support our work, and as a result our donor base is rapidly growing.
The focus on nurturing relationships with these donors and providing an excellent experience is a strategic priority. We are seeking an individual with excellent supporter care skills who can help us to build excellent relationships with our supporters and has a real affinity with the work that we do. Your role will involve responding to supporter requests, questions and queries from a range of communication channels, including email and phone, helping to deliver a first-class supporter experience. This frontline role is contributing to the development of the fundraising team to reach unrestricted income targets.
You will report directly to the Director of Supporter Marketing, and work closely with the Database team on a range of activities.
You will have excellent customer service skills and previous experience in a similar role. You will be well organised with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. About the role
Our Mentor Services Coordinators are the key contacts for our volunteer mentors from their first enquiry about mentoring until they are matched with a young person. The Mentor Services Coordinators conduct in depth interviews with all prospective volunteer mentors, organise training, organise DBS checks and make the process as smooth and supported as possible.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of a 3-year train the trainer pilot programme in the chosen pilot locations in England or Scotland.
The pilot will train and equip local health care professionals, health promotion workers and local community workers with the knowledge and resources to promote breast awareness, breast screening and risk reduction messages in their own communities.
Supported by a public health development officer, train the trainer (1 based in England and 1 based in Scotland), who you’ll also line manage, you’ll lead on the development and delivery of the in-person programme, including marketing materials, resource packs and ongoing support for trainees. You’ll also identify opportunities, agree timescales and associated logistics for training delivery within the pilot areas.

We’re looking for someone who is experienced in leading on the development and delivery of insightful and engaging workshops or public health focused projects, to a range of audiences from health or community-based organisations. The right candidate will have a good understanding of health inequalities, the challenges they present to health behaviours and outcomes, and be passionate about addressing these challenges. This is an exciting time to join the Housing First team, an innovative and supportive team offering open-ended, flexible, and intensive support to people who face multiple disadvantages. Housing First is an evidenced based model of support that alleviates homeless for people for whom other models of support may not be able to reach.

About the role
As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. The team is multi-disciplinary – Coaches, Peer Support Worker, Clinical Psychologist – which allows us to collaboratively formulate innovative approaches to support. The team operates across London, providing numerous opportunities to build impactful partnerships and contribute towards systems change.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, flexible and have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners. You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services or mental health and have significant experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to create strong professional relationships and creative solutions. You will have experience of working with people who have faced severe and multiple exclusion and who may have ‘complex needs’; with an understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time. You will be willing and able to provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home – including direct help where necessary with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning. You will also have a knowledge of Housing First and Housing Led approaches and the ability to work within a psychologically informed approach.

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland. You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.

This is a critical role that requires exceptional administrative and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex international travel arrangements, provide governance and Board support, and oversee the CEO’s busy diary. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and working efficiently in a fact paced environment.
Ideally, the candidate should have relevant PA experience, however this is not essential for the role. Candidates with no experience will be considered if they have the relevant qualities of being trustworthy, hard working, eager to learn and have a great attention to detail.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Diary Management:
- Proactively manage the CEO’s diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
- Coordinate and prioritise the CEO’s daily activities to ensure efficient use of time.
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them with minimal disruption to the CEO’s schedule.
Travel Coordination:
- Organise and manage complex international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas and security provision.
- Prepare detailed travel itineraries, ensuring all logistics are seamlessly coordinated.
- Handle any travel-related issues that may arise, including last-minute changes or emergencies.
- Monitor travellers safety during travel to medium-high risk locations (on-call), with the support of a security company.
Governance and Board Support:
- Provide administrative support for board meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing materials and taking minutes.
- Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for board meetings and other governancerelated activities.
- Manage communication with board members and assist with organisation of board-related events and functions.
Administrative Support:
- Handle correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including emails, phone calls and written communication
- Draft and prepare documents, presentations, and reports as required by the CEO
- Assist in managing the CEO’s expense reports, invoices, and other financial documentation
- Support the CEO in maintaining strong relationships with partners, donors, and other key stakeholders
Confidentiality and discretion:
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity
- Ensure that all communications and documents are managed in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
Knowledge and Skills
- Previous PA experience (preferred but not essential)

The Role
As Assistant Accountant, you will take a lead role in every aspect of the day-today accounting and financial stewardship of the Church, working in collaboration with the staff team. You will assist with the financial setup of new church plants, ensuring a consistent approach across all of the Church partnership of churches, identifying best-practice and ensuring robust checks and balances are in place as the finance function increases in operational complexity.
Consistency, attention to detail, and best practice are key as this role will also help to establish a centralised resource service, offering a limited range of financial services to other selected churches in the town. This is a hands-on role; the successful applicant will enjoy understanding and implementing the detail of charity and church accounting requirements.
About You
You will be AAT qualified (or equivalent) or have significant appropriate experience and with a demonstrative development of skills.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity. - provide information, support, guidance, advice and advocacy on Domestic Homicide Reviews, Mental Health Reviews, Inquests, Independent Office of Police Conduct inquiries and other types of Inquiries;
- manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities;
- give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf;
- Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.
