We are keen to hear from highly motivated individuals with proven track-record of successfully delivering effective individual-marketing campaigns, who are looking for an exciting opportunity to lead on the planning and delivery and help grow our acquisition programme and make a difference in the lives of children across the world.
About Us
We are Save the Children. Together, we fight for children every single day so that they can make their mark on the world and build a better future. We do whatever it takes to make sure they survive, get protection when they're in danger, and have the chance to learn.
About The Team
As Public Income and Engagement, we set the standard for brilliant, effective marketing across owned, and bought and earned channels. Working in squads with colleagues in Fundraising & Marketing, and across Policy, Advocacy & Campaigns, we deliver campaigns in line with our marketing plan that build awareness, change minds and opinions, prompt people to act, and build deep relationships with supporters. We aim to sustainably increase the quality and value of our Individual Giving programme by continually testing, learning and innovating.

- Be accountable for the delivery of acquisition marketing across DRTV, PPC, paid social, display, offline channels and telemarketing
- Lead the team's relationship with the media buying agency to buy and optimise media
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with a range of key partners, including telemarketing, production companies and fulfilment agencies, and motivate and inspire these partners to deliver their best for Save the Children
- Work with Head of Acquisition to develop and manage Squad budgets. This includes planning, reporting, and re-forecasting.
- Personally lead the execution of high spend marketing activity, alongside your team
- With Analyst squad members, analyse marketing effectiveness and ensure supporter insight and data analysis play a pivotal role in our marketing. We are not looking for just one type of person - we want to recruit people who can add fresh perspectives, innovative ideas or challenge that disrupts the risk of group think.
We are especially interested in people whose childhood experiences - of life on a low income, of migration, of being in a racialised community, of the care system, of being LGBT+ or in an LGBT+ family or living with (or with someone with) a disability - help us to see things we might otherwise miss. Whatever your story is we want to hear it because we know that different voices, ideas, perspectives and knowledge, working together will enable us to better the lives of children around the world. The climate crisis is a water crisis. Around the world, people are feeling the effects of climate change through water, including flooding, droughts, sea level rise, and irregular rainfall. Climate change is affecting seasonal and long-term water availability, meaning we can no longer rely on rain, river flows and aquifers.
The Resilient Water Accelerator is an initiative designed to increase the flow of private and public finance into water projects that help the most climate-vulnerable communities build resilience to climate change. Our mission is to demonstrate the business case for increased and enhanced public and private investment in water-related deals in emerging economies that strengthen resilience for climate-vulnerable communities and are replicable so that millions more can benefit. We are working to increase the speed, scale, and replicability of water investment by creating a pipeline of bankable projects, bringing together the right mix of financing with the right commercial structures and partners, and supporting improvements in the enabling environment.
