Nature-related Finance: Nature loss poses material risks to financial institutions, as studies show more than half of global GDP is moderately or highly dependent on nature. Lack of high-quality nature-related data is one of the biggest obstacles holding financial institutions back from addressing nature-related risks. Global Canopy innovates to increase the scope, quality and accessibility of freely available data. We work to enable investors, lenders, insurers, financial regulators and others in the sector to identify and mitigate their impacts and dependencies on nature – and to seize the opportunity of investing in nature-positive solutions. Our work on nature-related finance centres on three collaborative flagship projects, the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), ENCORE and The Little Book of Investing in Nature.
This project manager role is responsible for effective coordination of resources of the SECO and Horizon projects primarily, as well as a number of the NRF team project management tasks. 
This includes coordination with project partners, ensuring project documentation, annual plan development and more; ensuring any issues are escalated in a timely way, and that project(s) can achieve their objectives on time and budget.

To be successful in this role,  these are the things that will matter the most: 

• A track record of managing project operations to a high standard, particularly around reporting, results tracking and relations management. 
• Able to work with both external and internal stakeholders, delivering clear and professional communication

We are looking for an experienced leader to run our Crosslight Branch, staff and volunteers in West Kent (with locations in across Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells), and to provide debt advice, case management, and money education to Crosslight’s service users. 

Our ideal candidate has prior debt advice experience combined with experience of leading and supervising staff and volunteers. About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of a 3-year train the trainer pilot programme in the chosen pilot locations in England or Scotland.

The pilot will train and equip local health care professionals, health promotion workers and local community workers with the knowledge and resources to promote breast awareness, breast screening and risk reduction messages in their own communities.

Supported by a public health development officer, train the trainer (1 based in England and 1 based in Scotland), who you’ll also line manage, you’ll lead on the development and delivery of the in-person programme, including marketing materials, resource packs and ongoing support for trainees. You’ll also identify opportunities, agree timescales and associated logistics for training delivery within the pilot areas.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is experienced in leading on the development and delivery of insightful and engaging workshops or public health focused projects, to a range of audiences from health or community-based organisations. The right candidate will have a good understanding of health inequalities, the challenges they present to health behaviours and outcomes, and be passionate about addressing these challenges. You’ll have strong communication and engagement skills and enjoy working independently and innovatively to develop successful partnerships with a range of organisations, communities and stakeholders.

An experienced Legacy and In Memory fundraising or marketing professional with a proven track record of developing and implementing campaigns aimed at creating legacy awareness, securing legacy pledges and increasing in memory donations for the Macular Society.

You’ll be familiar with and comfortable analysing data and insights that inform decision making and approaches towards legacy and in memory marketing, ensuring these activities are well targeted and effective, using a range of channels.

Overall purpose

This is a key role that will work closely with the Senior Communications Manager, Head of Public Engagement and Senior Digital Marketing Manager.

Royal Museums Greenwich is a collection of diverse historical sites. The sites are the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, and the Queen’s House. Each of these sites has a unique identity and a common purpose to serve our communities, through sharing our collections and expertise. Working in the Engagement department and reporting to the Adults and Communities Participation Manager, the Communities Participation Producer will create a year-round public programme of activities inspired by the collections, themes and sites of Royal Museums Greenwich. Key responsibilities include producing and delivering programmes in collaboration with community partners and stakeholders to create relevant, inclusive and inspiring activity across the Museum’s multiple sites. The role will focus on creating activity that welcomes underrepresented audiences to Royal Museums Greenwich sites, developing trusted relationships in the process and responding to the social purpose of the organisation.

The role will develop programmes that connect communities and collections around the legacies of empire, queer histories and stories of migration. This will involve working across generations to  facilitate dialogue around under-represented histories and current issues in a variety of formats including large scale public festivals, talks, workshops and more. The role will have a focus on developing participation opportunities for African and Caribbean and East and South-East Asian diaspora, as well as LGBTQ+ communities, to develop stronger connections with the collection and bring new perspectives to maritime history. This will involve audience research and internal dialogue to create supportive spaces and activity at Royal Museums Greenwich and contribute towards it becoming a more inclusive and representative organisation.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of delivering a range of inclusive cultural engagement provision for diverse audiences, including large-scale public events, and creating audience-led programmes for African and Caribbean/ East Asian/ South-East Asian diaspora communities. The postholder will have a track record of building strong partnerships with communities and stakeholders, along with experience of writing and producing resources and promotional materials for a range of target audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this role, as is a passion for activating and supporting dialogue around the legacies of empire, queer histories and stories of migration. The postholder will be innovative, imaginative, creative and self-motivated; highly-organised, able to work to deadlines across multiple projects while managing a budget; and have the ability to undertake some evening and weekend working.

BCYP is seeking a seasoned Communications and Marketing Officer who will design and implement a strategy to boost BCYP’s brand and support the efforts of clinicians and researchers’ projects. The candidate will also support the fundraising team through grassroots event management and the adoption of a small portfolio of donors. 

The applicant will have excellent communication skills able to translate the stakeholders’ (Trustees/clinicians/donors/young people) needs and broadcast them to the community. They must have hands-on skills creating and designing digital, print, and social media and the confidence to put their signature on a strong communications and marketing strategy that will maximize external partnerships.

Role: Fundraising Officer as part of the halow project, a charity providing support to adults with learning disabilities.

Location: Guildford, Surrey (flexibility to discuss hybrid working upon successful completion of probationary period)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, flexible working pattern)

Salary: £25,000-£27,000

Annual Leave: 33 days pro-rata, inclusive of bank holidays.

Training: You will receive fully paid training supplementing any previously completed relevant training, with further development opportunities also available to progress your role and career.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing administrative and other support to fundraising and communications staff.
• Leading on a small portfolio of major fundraising events and activities. 
• Maintaining regular contact and excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support and/or lead on a range of other fundraising activities, campaigns and events.
• Identifying new events, opportunities and approaches that could raise significant funds for halow.

Role Requirements:

• We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, hard-working, flexible and keen to make a difference. 
• Demonstratable experience of working a fundraising role or comparable role.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, trustees, donors, and funders.
• Experience of delivering projects and fundraising targets.
• Knowledge of data security whist ensuring databases are kept up to date.
• Aged 18 and above.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Suitable references.
• Willing to undertake a DBS Check. The initial cost of the DBS application will be paid for by halow.

The newly scoped CEO role in our vision-focussed charity is one of many challenges. Despite having doubled its outputs in the last 2 years, the charity acknowledges there is still a great job of work to do to prepare itself for even greater demand in its services - without necessarily a proportionate increase in its budgets. This role is about leading and enabling the incredible team of people on to even greater levels of already-strong performance. So we're looking for an accomplished leader and not just a great manager. We're looking for someone who can lead from both the front - and from within. This will be someone who is as comfortable sitting and engaging with our beneficiaries - primarily homeless people and those with previous convictions, as they are creating and delivering highly polished, compelling public event and funder and stakeholder-focussed presentations. We are looking for someone who understands the balance of external and internal focus required to ensure both good governance and team wellbeing (as they work in often challenging circumstances) and the ambition to keep developing existing and new external partnerships. With a strong start to its ambitious Corporate Partnership programme, commercial and/or business experience is highly desirable as well as a proven track record in creating and optimising new funding channels.

About Us

The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. Additionally, our UR4Jobs project focusses on both client wellbeing and breaking down the many barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged people every day.

The role

Is leading the charity through its next phases of development as it prepares itself for year on year increases in demand with a focus on delivering the charity’s future resilience plan (Project 12/25). The CEO is accountable for overall charity performance (financial, operational, governance, compliance), team (paid and volunteer) support and development. Additionally, there are a wide range of community and external partner relationships to manage and develop. Ultimately this role sets the tone for the charity, one of both compassion and ambition to improve the lives of the people who need us. This is primarily an on-site role, with occasional opportunity to work flexibly.

About You

You have a stable CV that demonstrates you have built and led successful teams and enabled growth and/or transformation for your organisation – ideally in an equivalent charity/non-profit environment. You can evidence strong team leadership and results across a wide range of business functions which will need to include income generation, managing budgets and business operations. You live within - or know well, West/Central London, are passionate about improving the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people and can lead multi-functional teams through a blend of 121 coaching, training and ensuring a ‘we can do this’ culture across the charity. You are an accomplished and visionary public speaker and presenter, able to articulate both the journey we’re undertaking and the support/input we need to get there.
